   Really a go to steakhouse if you are in San Antonio .The staff is attentive ,knowledgeable ,and professional.Foos is outsanding .Try .the bacon appetizer !!!

   Best scallops we have ever had. Loved all the food and the service outstanding. It was surely a nice change from Tvs and phones everywhere. 1st class experience!

   My husband and I had an anniversary dinner at Bohanan's Prime Steaks and Seafood. We ordered the chateaubriand for two and were told it would be about a one hour wait. We agreed and ordered the meal. In the meantime, we shared a wedge salad, and my husband ordered an appetizer of French oysters, which he thoroughly enjoyed. At about an hour, the server told us there was another party in front of us and we would have a longer wait. I have no idea why the long delay. At this point I was not very happy. Our meat finally arrived after an hour and a half, and we were disappointed. It was dry and should have been served warmer. In conclusion, our experience with Bohanan's was a mixed bag compared to other high end steak houses.

   Bohanan’s is always a special treat when we pass through San Antonio. Service was on point as always. Food was outstanding.

   The food and service was perfect! I loved every single thing about my dinner. I ordered the crab cakes and the lamb. The crab cakes were more crab meat than anything else (which was SO tasty!) and the lamb was very tender and juicy. They knew it was my birthday and my fiancée and I received a complimentary champagne glass after my dinner - A nice surprise! Big shoutout to our server, Jesus! We will definitely be back again next year!

   Our date night experience at Bohanan’s was off the charts wonderful! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly when we walked into the restaurant. Our service was truly stellar, Megan’s attention to detail was true professionalism. Her team was also great! The food and drinks were delicious!!!!!!!! We look forward to returning very soon!

   We love Bohanan’s but the last few times the service has been mediocre. We had reservations after a show. Our show was running late and I called restaurant to notify them we would be 5-10 mins late. As indicated on the website we have 15 mins past which is what the hostess mentioned, however when we got there the gentleman walking us to our table told us you just made it by 5 mins before we canceled you. He also told us the chef’s get upset when guests are late. I asked him why we called and our show was running late. He stated they were about to put the food up. I was puzzled and looked around and noticed there were other people enjoying drinks before meals and looked at my phone to ensure the time. I jokingly stated how other people in the restaurant hadn’t been severed and we our paying for an expensive meal and we were only a few minutes late the chef will be fine. He stated that they wanted to go home. He walked away and then we got another waitress which was pleasant and to our surprise we were not the last to get serve or leave the restaurant. The food was good as always but we did feel rushed.

   I took my wife for a date night. The downstairs was nice, good atmosphere but when they took us upstairs to be seated the noise was so loud we couldn’t hear each other cross our small table. There were multiple extremely loud tables, one had a bare foot child pushing a stroller around in the restaurant! We placed our order right away and it still took over an hour to get our meals. This is not how I wanted to spend $200! The drinks were great but DO NOT go here for a date night! Better places to spend your money.

   We were recommend to try this restaurant by our hotel and it was fabulous. Love the vibes of the first floor bar area and the dining room upstairs was great. We had a nice curved booth. The service was top notch! They give you a little amuse bouche to start. My husband and I split the house salad and hitch was tasty. We had sea bass and mesquite snapper along with the lobster cremed corn. All was AMAZING! Highly recommend
