   I chose BOCA to celebrate Mother's Day for my wife. The cocktails are outstanding. We had delicious pasta entrees. Our host, Michael, took exquisite care of us. We love this restaurant!

   The service was excellent. The food was good. Portions small but I like that because I like small bites and hate waste. Ambiance and noise level was really great. Expensive but expected. For a special night out it was the perfect place. We had 4:15 reservations and were seated right away. Took our time between courses and servers were aware of our 6:30 show and gave us room to breathe while being attentive. Everything was tasty and proportionate. We had the bread course, charred leeks, and salad. Added Pomme Soufflé which was my least favorite. Beef Wellington for two. Shared the desserts. Both excellent. Total bill was $295.00 without any liquor (just a water and tea plus coffee for one) as expected. Overall very pleased.

   We came this evening to celebrate our anniversary as well as Mother’s Day. Troy was absolutely the best. We could not have asked for better service, better demeanor, and the food was absolutely exquisite. Thank you for giving us such a joyous dining experience today

   Our waitress , who never identified herself, was the most indifferent to our dining experience for a restaurant of this stature as we have come across in years. We started with the bread, Pommes Soufflé and the lobster brioche - all 3 are great but the brioche is really a bit for one… which the waitress did not state… moved on to the Hamachi Crudo and Steak Tartare.. Crudo was awesome but trying to eat Tartare with a potato chip smaller than your finger tips is pathetic… next was the Scallops and the Mafaldine - both were great but the Mafaldine could have used a fresh sprinkle of Parmesan… then had the halibut, chicken and tenderloin all of which we excellent… finished with the lemon and mascarpone desserts - both very good… we ordered a bottle of wine and it turned out to be the last one which the waitress did not identify when she brought to the table but only when we asked for a second - demonstrating a portion of her indifference… when we were driving home we discussed the meal and I felt something was off and my Mom, we were celebrating Mother’s Day, said the waitress was indifferent to our visit… staff act like the restaurant is fine dining and the customers in shorts and sneakers says otherwise…

   Great food great service. You sit pretty close to other guests. Brussel sprouts are a must. Steak was perfectly cooked.
