We were indoors and there were too many flies! Other than that it was great!

My wife and I dined at the Boat House for my birthday and although my wife enjoyed her dinner of the paella, I was left a little disappointed by the pot roast entree. For the price of the entree, I felt that the plating, gnocchi, etc. did not meet my expectations. My wife's cocktail was presented well whereas mine was in my estimation not. Furthermore, I was disappointed that after we decided that based off of the aforementioned disappointment with my cocktail and entree, that we would not have dessert, and had signed the check that someone who also celebrating a birthday received his dessert on the house. At no point was I told that this was something that the restaurant did and I had made the restaurant aware that it was my birthday on making the reservation.

We had a little wait for a window seat. However, it was very delightful. The waiter was new, but must say was exceptional. Great lunch with friends.

It was our anniversary and this was a wonderful place to celebrate at...the waitress--Grace--was lovely and attentive and did an excellent job. We were seated at an outdoor table which we appreciated and made the evening very special as we watched the sun set. Food was really good and we both enjoyed what we ordered.
Thanks!

You go here for the view. It's in a lovely spot overlooking the water. The service is excellent and although our server forgot to put in one of our orders, the manager made sure to check with us over and over to be sure that we weren't upset. The food is a B in my opinion. Get the cheese plate -- it's never a disappointment. I personally don't get the potato salad made with very under-cooked potatoes, but the homemade potato chips may be the best thing on the menu.

The atmosphere was beautiful we sat outside, the waitress was less then friendly that's for sure and the bus girl was very rude to one of my friends. She still had a few things on her plate and she asked if she could take it. My friend said no I still working on it and the bus girl said oh I can't take it and she again said no im still working on it, the bus girl said oh I thought you where being sarcastic with me. I thought it was very rude of her to comment like that, when someone says I'm still working on it normally people say okay not this would. Just very poor and dis satisfied!!!!

We love The Boat House. We have celebrated our anniversary here for the last 3 years. This year we went for lunch. We were disappointed with our server. He was unfriendly and unattentive. When my husband booked our reservation he mentioned we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Sadly it went unnoticed. The food was delicious as usual. The view magnificent. We will be back but were very disappointed this time.

We had a gift certificate given to us so took a ride to Tiverton from Massachusetts for an early lunch/supper. Beautiful restaurant with amazing views and fun, semi-casual atmosphere. Our server was extremely personable and helpful without being overbearing. Only wish the food had been as good. Hubby had the shrimp scampi. The portion was generous enough but the saffron-based sauce was so extremely heavy with saffron that he was having trouble eating it (and he likes saffron!). My dish was the special of the day with corn meal crusted haddock and shrimp over succotash. Again, the succotash spices were so strong they overpowered and ruined the fish. I had asked for a sample taste of their potato salad which is made with regular and sweet potatoes with a light mayo and dill dressing. Once again, the dill in the potato salad totally overpowered and ruined it. PLEASE lighten up on the spices - a little of certain spices go a long way. Maybe just a heavy-handed chef that day but if we visit again will probably get a salad (with dressing the side) and a glass of wine to enjoy the spectacular view!

We go there for the beautiful sunsets. I did not appreciate one of the other servers trying to close our window shade because someone on another table complained about the sun.

We went for Sunday brunch. I had the lobster roll which was a good choice; plenty of lobster meat. My nieces both had the breakfast combo. They were disappointed in the size of the waffle served with the breakfast as it was only a piece of waffle and not a whole one; otherwise a good portion of food. We all sat outside, the weather was beautiful and there was plenty of covered seating on the patio.

Service and food were very good (we had the filet and the seafood scampi, both were delicious). A bit pricey, and we were charged for two drinks that we did not order, but they took care of the error right away. The views are amazing! You can watch the sunset over the bay and take a walk down their dock.

Lobster fritters are phenomenal! We visited for lunch on July 6, 2018. Clam chowder was good. All meals presented well and seemed fresh. A window table gave us a wonderful view! Really neat and clean atmosphere and wait staff. Our server was a bit overly attentive; reaching for silverware and plates frequently, as to clear our spaces, which was nice, but became cumbersome. My drink (soda water) wasn’t delivered. All in all, a pleasant experience. Definitely recommend and will return.

The food was fantastic. Loved the lobster fritters, the shrimp cocktail was perfectly chilled and the grapefruit martini was a great choice. I don't normally do pasta when eating out, but I had the seafood scampi with plenty of lobster, scallops and shrimp - it was fab and I would order it again. Our server was Kyle and he did a great job. I rated the noise level as energetic but I would describe it as entirely too noisy. It was certainly busy and they usually are so some noise reducing design elements would serve them well.
