Our experience was amazing! The waitress, Jenna was AWESOME! It made the experience that much more enjoyable! We will definitely be going back!!
absolutely perfect evening!!!!!
Great views and service. Food is excellent but limited and no specials.
Beautiful view, wonderful foo, great service. Definitely the kind of place to go for a special occasion.
Had the Crab Salad. It was perfect. Just the right size for lunch.
The atmosphere was beautiful we sat outside, the waitress was less then friendly that's for sure and the bus girl was very rude to one of my friends. She still had a few things on her plate and she asked if she could take it. My friend said no I still working on it and the bus girl said oh I can't take it and she again said no im still working on it, the bus girl said oh I thought you where being sarcastic with me. I thought it was very rude of her to comment like that, when someone says I'm still working on it normally people say okay not this would. Just very poor and dis satisfied!!!!
We love The Boat House. We have celebrated our anniversary here for the last 3 years. This year we went for lunch. We were disappointed with our server. He was unfriendly and unattentive. When my husband booked our reservation he mentioned we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Sadly it went unnoticed. The food was delicious as usual. The view magnificent. We will be back but were very disappointed this time.
We've been there a few times for lunch and always enjoyed it. You can't go wrong with the location, food, service and views.
The crab cakes were a bit fishy. I could not eat it. The salmon and fish were superb.
Just great as usual. Our go to special night out Restaurant
We had a gift certificate given to us so took a ride to Tiverton from Massachusetts for an early lunch/supper. Beautiful restaurant with amazing views and fun, semi-casual atmosphere. Our server was extremely personable and helpful without being overbearing. Only wish the food had been as good. Hubby had the shrimp scampi. The portion was generous enough but the saffron-based sauce was so extremely heavy with saffron that he was having trouble eating it (and he likes saffron!). My dish was the special of the day with corn meal crusted haddock and shrimp over succotash. Again, the succotash spices were so strong they overpowered and ruined the fish. I had asked for a sample taste of their potato salad which is made with regular and sweet potatoes with a light mayo and dill dressing. Once again, the dill in the potato salad totally overpowered and ruined it. PLEASE lighten up on the spices - a little of certain spices go a long way. Maybe just a heavy-handed chef that day but if we visit again will probably get a salad (with dressing the side) and a glass of wine to enjoy the spectacular view!
We've had many sunset meals here ambiance hard to beat.
Rarely the fried fish is a bit overcooked
The Boat House, AGAIN, delivered great cocktails, a beautifully presented and very tasty meal with a terrific wait staff! They haven't missed a beat in delivering updated variations on their wonderful menu!
We go there for the beautiful sunsets. I did not appreciate one of the other servers trying to close our window shade because someone on another table complained about the sun.
Great Lobster roll however I would suggest never serve one with the heal of a hot dog bun, never.
This place is always amazing, the service, the food and the drinks all top notch. Our waiter Jeff and the manager Jarrod went out of their way to make the evening perfect.
There were 3 of us - 2 had the fish and chips, which was very good and I had the salmon with dill pesto, which was good but I couldn't really taste the dill.
Beautiful location, tasty entrees, and I had informed restaurant of our friends’ 20 th anniversary and they brought over a complimentary champagne toast for them at the end of dinner! Nice surprise!
We went for Sunday brunch. I had the lobster roll which was a good choice; plenty of lobster meat. My nieces both had the breakfast combo. They were disappointed in the size of the waffle served with the breakfast as it was only a piece of waffle and not a whole one; otherwise a good portion of food. We all sat outside, the weather was beautiful and there was plenty of covered seating on the patio.
Always can rely on the food to be excellent. Our server, May, was fabulous during Sunday brunch.
I was told we would have a window seat but I was seated with my
Back to the window, two rows away from the window.
Your online menu needs updating, the glueten free salad I wanted
Did not exist.
Staff was wonderful, food excellent.
Service and food were very good (we had the filet and the seafood scampi, both were delicious). A bit pricey, and we were charged for two drinks that we did not order, but they took care of the error right away. The views are amazing! You can watch the sunset over the bay and take a walk down their dock.
Lobster fritters are phenomenal! We visited for lunch on July 6, 2018. Clam chowder was good. All meals presented well and seemed fresh. A window table gave us a wonderful view! Really neat and clean atmosphere and wait staff. Our server was a bit overly attentive; reaching for silverware and plates frequently, as to clear our spaces, which was nice, but became cumbersome. My drink (soda water) wasn’t delivered. All in all, a pleasant experience. Definitely recommend and will return.
Always great . Food excellent. Waitress was exceptional
Food, Service & Ambiance is always top notch one of our favorite places to eat.
Food was great, service was very good, drinks were also good. Great view and reasonably priced.
The food was fantastic. Loved the lobster fritters, the shrimp cocktail was perfectly chilled and the grapefruit martini was a great choice. I don't normally do pasta when eating out, but I had the seafood scampi with plenty of lobster, scallops and shrimp - it was fab and I would order it again. Our server was Kyle and he did a great job. I rated the noise level as energetic but I would describe it as entirely too noisy. It was certainly busy and they usually are so some noise reducing design elements would serve them well.
Always a enjoyable experience at the Bost House. Service is excellent, food always wonderful!!
This was our very first time at the Boat House !! The Hostess made my Wife & I feel at home on the 4th, even though the Boat House was very busy. Once seated our waiter Timothy was excellent and he made the rest of our lunch very enjoyable . The Scenic View along with creative lunch dishes makes the Boat House a must Visit !! Thank You to Open Table for making the reservation process easy !! We will re-visit very soon !! Thank You to the Boat House for a Great Experience !!
We had a very nice table with a window open to the water. Great view, excellent food, drinks and service.
It was a lovely evening and the view was spectacular. The chowder was very good. My steak was cooked perfectly. My companion's flounder was very dry.
Gorgeous setting but food is not what it use to be. Shrimp were small. Chicken dry & overcooked. In addition, restaurant is far too warm inside to say its air conditioned.
This was an outstanding setting and dinner for our 35th anniversary celebration. Thanks to Casey, the service was great!
I am from this area but currently live in another city. I was in town visiting family and always make a point to eat at the Boathouse. It never disappoints! The view is spectacular & the food is always top quality.
Amazing night, perfect sunset, good food. Can't go wrong! We bought a gift certificate for a family member to enjoy.
One word - fabulous!
The venue was perfect for date night. It gave us everything we wanted and them some for dining out on hot summer night! The view was beautiful with lots of boat activity on the water for viewing entertainment. The ocean air was refreshing on a hot night! The offer indoor window seating for those that prefer air conditioning. The staff was friendly and our server was very familiar with both the menu and specials. Drinks options were great and perfectly made.
The food was delicious and generous portions. My husband had the filet mignon with coffee rubbed sweat potato ...their wasn't a drop left on the plate. I had the ocean scallops with puree cauliflower and the only reason I had left overs was because I need room for dessert. We selected cappuccinos along with the vanilla crème brulee which was outstanding!
Cocktails and dinner were wondeful! Our server was very knowledgeble and pleasant. Dessert was disappointing, especially the almond cake and the strawberry shortcake.
We went there for dinner to celebrate my best friend's birthday and we were not disappointed. We are from central MA and we will be back.
The Boathouse was great, the service was amazing as well as the food. Our wait person was so efficient and very knowledgeable. She made the visit so perfect. We sat outside and the view was terrific.
