The Sunday brunch at Blue Ridge is always a pleasure, and this visit was no exception. Due to the pandemic, the selections were slightly reduced in order to accommodate service, but this in no way impacted the variety and freshness of the food. Service was exceptional as always!

Blue Ridge Sunday Brunch is delicious. The space is beautiful and a table by the window with the view is amazing. This was our first time there since COVID restrictions had been put in place. The process was seamless and really didn't mind not serving ourselves. It is a great way of spending a Sunday afternoon with a loved one.

Come hungry if planning the Friday night Seafood or the Saturday night Prime Rib buffets. The prime rib was amazing! All the food was great and service was awesome

Waiter was excellent and we were seated right on time. It was set up perfect observing COVID guidelines. It was a little loud and very cold. We were seated beside a window and I had to put my coat on and my hands were still cold. Unconfortable.

We've been coming here for a few years and it has always been excellent. They do an excellent job adapting to the Pandemic requirements. The food station servers do a great job and are very pleasant. The wait staff is outstanding. We drive 65 miles to enjoy the Blue Ridge Artisanal Seafood Buffet on Friday nights. $49.00 + tax + tip and we feel it is worth every penny a few times a year.

It’s not big deal but mashed potatoes or maybe augratin potatoes to go with delicious beef fillet and maybe some type of dinner rolls as you have had in the past.
Our wait person (female) don’t remember her name but she was exceptional.

I think they did a very good job making everything covid friendly. There were definitely less items though compared to before covid. It was still same quality of excellent food though!

I have been looking forward to the seafood buffet for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. I ate crab legs for about an hour and enjoyed the oysters the man shucking them was really sweet. The clam chowder was amazing. Everything was really good. Service from Carlos was great and we enjoyed the whole experience.

Wasn’t aware the restaurant would be buffet style but the taste of the food was sub par and wasn’t worth $65 per adult. Some of the food was cold. The only entree that was delicious for the meat was the salmon. We even had to order chicken nuggets and fries for one of our children because he didn’t enjoy any of the food. Definitely wouldn’t come back because it was disappointing for the taste level compared to the viewing of the menu.

Paid over $200 for cold buffet food and $33 of that was for a service charge for a server who only brought drinks. Left feeling totally ripped off and disappointed. Less than sub par food and NOT what I would expect from the Grove Park Inn. Just gross.

Excellent meal. I don’t generally do buffets, but was a late Valentine’s Day reservation. Buffet was not self service and the food was excellent! Beautiful restaurant and very nice evening.... we will return there our next trip to Asheville. May even decide to stay at the gorgeous hotel

Phenomenal first visit to The Grove Park Inn! Our choice to dine in the Blue Ridge Room was an excellent one. From the moment we arrived until the end of our visit, we were made to feel welcomed and comfortable. The valet attendants were awesome, as were the dining room attendants and chefs. Dinner was abundant and well prepared, and dessert was delightfully delicious. What a wonderful way to spend our 37th Valentine's Day together! ❤

The Sunday brunch was amazing. Complimentary first mimosa. Shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, Omelet station, so many sides, fluffy biscuits and tangy gravy. The view was amazing. We ate here for valentines day and it was worth every penny. Breathtaking views and mouthwatering food. Perfect!

Let me preface this by saying that I'm not one to leave bad or mediocre reviews about restaurants. If I don't enjoy a place- I simply don't go back. I don't want to ruin a restaurants reputation because I had a single bad experience.

I have been coming to the Blue Ridge multiple times a year, for several years now. This is the first time I've been since Covid and it is an extremely different experience than I've ever had in the past. I understand safety restrictions and wanting to maintain the aspect of keeping your restaurant as clean as possible. I would have like to have known, however, that the buffet is no longer a true buffet. You have to walk up to the servers and tell them what you want while they make your plate. Putting this information on your website would have allowed me to find a different restaurant for the evening. I felt as if it detracted from the experience that we are used to and made it feel as if we were at a back yard bbq where you are serviced in a line. An alternative solution would be to have a menu on the table and have the waitstaff bring your order to your table so you don't have to get up and go stand in line.

Another small nitpick was the waitress took our drink menu as soon as we ordered our first drinks. We were wanting to try several of the special cocktails but didn't get a chance to. She didn't ask us if we wanted another drink until we were finished with our meal and about to leave the table for the night.

I say all this to say, I have always enjoyed Blue Ridge and the offerings they give. The food is great and the views are fantastic. I don't have a problem spending any amount of money on a meal but there is a certain level of expectation and comes with that and during these current Covid times, it definitely wasn't met.

My friend and I came on a trip to Asheville and told that Blue Ridge was a must for Sunday brunch! Although pricey, IT IS SO WORTH IT! The service was incredible. We sat down and was immediately served a mimosa and had many different food options from biscuits and gravy to seafood to delicious desserts! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting amazing food, service and the view is to die for! Carlos was our server and he was great!

We don’t usually do buffets but this was only place that had availability. It was a very good experience! Great service! Food was definitely great and not your typical buffet food. Sad thing is you always over eat :)

This was our second visit to The Blue Ridge. We loved the variety of food but did miss the sheer over indulgence of items normally available. During our first trip in 2019, there were five rooms FULL of food...meats, sides, salads, desserts, things you couldn't even imagine (raw oysters, king crab legs, souffles, ice sculptures). Loved it. This visit was much more scaled back. Still a great variety but obviously not as much due to COVID, sadly. Will definitely return.

We normally love the Blue Ride Dining experience, but this time the quality and service wasn’t up to normal standards. I feel that Covid has had some sort of affect on many restaurants, and this time was no exception. The choices were greatly restricted from times past, the food was dry and cold at times, and for the money, I felt it could’ve been better.
