Although the display is not as spectacular as pre Covid, they did a great job with the necessary adjustments.

Wonderful visit! Seated early and given a quick tour of the food options. Service was impeccable and professional(Klara) and friendly.
The food choices were outstanding - partook of five different meats and multiple options for all the fixins’! Dessert room provided cakes, cookies, pies, and ice cream, all created individually and very tasty.
Overall, this dinner was served safely, and seating was carefully distanced. We are return diners and will be back next year for sure! Thanks for a special evening!

Yearly tradition to visit Grove Park Inn. Although Covid has changed aome of the things, it was still very nice. Food selection & desserts were a tiny disappointing compared to what we normally get, but was still very good.

I was so disappointed in this restaurant!! The food was cold and overcooked. The only saving grace was dessert. I had very high expectations because it was at the Grove Park. And my expectations should have been met. The total bill with tip was $289, and the food was equivalent to going to Golden Coral. My girls had never been to the Grove Park and I wanted reservations at Sunset Terrace and they were booked. I thought this would have to be a close second. Overpriced and disappointing!! Can say anymore than that!

We come to the GPI every year on the day after Thanksgiving. This year was different because of COVID. You cannot serve yourself- but the food is still excellent. There aren’t quite as many choices though. It is pretty expensive, but the views of the mountains at sunset are worth it!

Being from out of town, it was very hard to find. You had to either pay $35 for valet parking or $25 for the parking garage to eat dinner. Once we arrived we found out it was a buffet only not knowing how much it even cost until we received the bill at $40-45 a head. The food was just adequate and definitely not worth the price charged. Being on vacation it was not a good experience at all. Very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to try it.

The dinner buffet was just ok. The food was mediocre and there were not many options for a vegetarian. We were disappointed in the food options, the quality and the taste. At $49/person better to go somewhere else.

Everything was dated and worn, carpet to ceiling. Food was good but not as good as I expected for it's location. More on par with a good chain restaurant. Hard to rate service in a buffet environment but we found ourselves waiting at the Ribeye counter with noone tending it. When someone did show up, he quickly proclaimed that this wasn't his job but he'd try to help us out. Also, I didn't see anywhere that it was buffet style when we were on the hotels website or making online reservations. The deserts were excellent.

We were very pleased with how the buffets were handled. Our waiter was very good and very polite. The food was good but not at the level we have experienced in the past. When we arrived at the hotel, we were a bit taken a back when we saw several patrons without masks on. We quickly moved through the front room and headed directly to the Blue Ridge dining room. Everything was handled very appropriately there and people were asked to wear a mask if they had it pulled down. Overall the experience was very nice.

For what you pay to eat here it’s so/so. The food was okay we went for Saturday evening prime rib. Service was also okay treatment like “you should be glad you’re here” if that makes sense. The view was absolutely amazing! BUT the windows were so gross that all my photos of view looked like I was on the inside of a dirty window. Could have saved the money and got the view from lobby bar area with patio seating.

I am not a huge fan of buffets, so I was disappointed to discover that on the night we were there it was a seafood buffet. I don't like waiting in line, I never think I eat enough for the price and I think they are somewhat wasteful. All of that said, the food was very good especially the seafood risotto and bananas foster. Being at the historic Grove Park with good friends and the beautiful views of the mountains made the evening unforgettable buffet or not.

We’ve been to the prime rib night on Saturday and that was great so we were really excited to try their seafood night but the seafood was not good the service wasn’t as good as last time either. A bit disappointed. I brought my family with me because I loved it the first time. So this was disappointing.

I will come here for their Sunday brunch again! This was by far the best brunch we have ever had. Literally so many choices! There are 3 rooms that are full of buffet items. You tell the person what you want and they start your plate. I was happy with the cleanliness and everyone was so nice and respected COVID protocols. Make sure to make a reservation so you can get a table with the most beautiful view of the mountains!

Food and service was excellent. Was initially reticent about the buffet style dining but was very fine dining options with lots of choice from raw oysters and large shrimp and other apps to prime rib and bananas foster for desert amongst other items. Plating was done by staff not individual patrons for COVID precautions . Also grove park inn was something to see when in Asheville

My wife and i have ate at Blue Ridge several times. We thought that there was not enough food to choose from this time and if COVID is going to be used as an excuse to not offer 1/3 as many choices including no steak, pork or chicken, then the price needs to be adjusted until things get back to normal. Normally, we love eating at Blue Ridge and have never had a complaint.

the food and service was top notch. yet for value it in the end is overpriced frankly. I mean you are charging 48 pp for buffet that can be had at say Golden Corral etc for much less. also the drinks were overpriced as well. bottom line if you go here you are going for the name brand venue period.

I was expecting a huge change with the CDC restrictions but was pleasantly surprised that although I could not serve myself, the lines at the stations went super fast. The service, as always, was impeccable. The only drawback was the number of items on the buffet. Seemed much less than before Covid. I was satisfied with my meal and we will return, hopefully when things are a little more normal.

Beautiful view of the mountains from our table. The food was excellent! Food was set up in stations due to covid situation and each station had a server. We had crab legs, shrimp, prime rib, roasted squash, creamy mash potatoes, wonderful mac & cheese, salad, a variety of cheeses, and wine. The dessert station was out of this world! $48 each plus the alcohol, was so worth it! Victoria was our server and she treated us like family.
