The quality and service were outstanding and it was the perfect choice to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She loved it.
We love going to the Park Grove. You can’t beat the views and service.
The food was great. Very well prepared and on point .
One suggestion would be to add some additional in-house recipes. A lot of what is on the brunch is eggs and stuff which was great , but some more in-depth cooking would be a plus .
We have been there on several occasions and the crablegs were horrible, soked in water for too long and made shell so soft you couldn't crack them .. its not the same from over a year ago ,,now there is half the stuff to eat and half the treats afterwards and now the price is ridiculous..definitely too high for the quality of food
CDC guidance recommends restaurants require wearing mask anytime leaving your table. The buffet at Blue Ridge had no sneeze shields to protect the food and 95% of people were picking up food without masks. There should be advisory signs and enforcement of common sense precautions.
The server said they had rare prime rib. The beef was not prime, tasted like a tenderized tougher piece of beef and was grey, not red.
Thank you for your feedback. Our focus on cleanliness has always been a top priority and we take your comments extremely seriously. We adhere to local and NC state mandates. Best Time for Prime Rib dinner night. Great service & great food.
It was nice. Our server was fantastic! Much more casual than anticipated.
The Blue Ridge Dining Room was everything you would like in a great dining experience. The food was clearly thoughtfully and artfully prepared and presented. Each dish, even sides, was delicious, often the best we have had of that particular item. The service was prompt, polished, kind and welcoming- thank you Jose! The food was placed in a large enough area that there was never a line or too many people in one place. Fine dining, beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, skilled chefs, and gracious service. It just could not get any better than this.
Beautiful view with great food and service. The crawfish risotto and bananas foster were so good!
Jose was excellent. Appreciated his advice.
Enjoyed Sunday brunch.
Great food and great drinks!
Overall although a buffet, crab legs, prime Rib, oysters half shell and ice shoot cold shrimp, not your typical buffet. The Terrace would be much nicer at Gorve Pak Inn but when you can’t get reservations anywhere in town this was a pleasant surprise and totally enjoyed.
Buffet only on Saturday night. Food was good and a fantastic variety. Beat of all, our server Juan was perfect. Not too much, not too little - a Goldilocks server!
The overall restaurant is a nice buffet style dinner. The quality of the food was above average in taste for a buffet. The host staff needs training to meet the expectation level of service at a fine resort. They are not accommodating and came across rude and unprofessional.
food was okay. service was good.
Food was fine but parking very expensive. $25 for parking 2 hours is a bit much.
Looked online to check about parking cost for the Grove Park Inn. First three hours per website are free in the parking garage. So you can imagine it was a huge surprise when we arrived and for the fall and holiday season, unannounced on their website, they have a flat $25 self-parking in parking garage and $35 valet parking. Price gouging!
The Grove Park Inn overall is a very nice place. My husband had reserved the Prime rib buffet for my birthday. The staff was very nice and professional.
The food served was a disappointment to say the least. The prime rib was fatty and had no flavor. (Did not even think that was possible). The other meat options were decent at best, with beef stew being the best. I've had a better meal at the Golden Corall, for a fraction of the cost.
I ordered an alcoholic beverage with dinner, and it definitely wasnt anything special as well. For $15.00, I was expecting a little more.
Total bill $148.00 including a couple of drinks. Total disappointment!
Buffet. That should sun it up

I think you should change to the salad bar be first and then the meat and the de dessert but we enjoyed everything
We did not know that it was a buffet
Unfortunately we were seated next to tables with young children. When one family left they sat another in their place. Got quite loud with young ones getting restless and wanting to leave. Otherwise we had a great meal.
Large selection of delicious seafood and other gourmet dishes. The dessert selection was fabulous and unique! The view of the mountains was an elegant setting for a wonderful dining experience! Our favorite place to celebrate special occasions.
Beautiful restaurant. Some of the food was really good and some of it was very poor. My entire family felt the same way, which was amazing we actually agreed on the food…
The desert section was great. I could have ate sweets all evening and been much happier.
Great experience and wonderfully helpful staff. Food was delicious and well worth the price. The hotel is beautiful and certainly a local gem!
The evening was lovely. Staff were prompt and friendly.
A little noisy due to a lot of activity, large groups, and irritable children.
We have ate here many times. The food was horrible this visit. The steak was so bad you couldn’t even cut it. Will not be returning.

We shared your review with our Food and Beverage Management Team with the aim to improve our food quality and offerings. Quite a bit of food options, but nothing was especially fantastic. Don’t recommend brunch.
Always a great place for a special lunch! Great views and great meal.
We celebrated our 65th wedding anniversary in the Blue Ridge room and greatly enjoyed the buffet feast. The service was excellent.
We come every year when we visit and we were happy that in spite of covid, everything was perfect, as always.
Great spread. Lot of variety but quality was just average. Views were great and staff attentive. Would not go out of my way to eat here unless you are really hungry or want to eat a lot
The buffet options were limited compared with what they offered before...
We had a drink on the terrace, watched a beautiful sunset, then had a magnificent dinner at Blue Ridge. Food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Thank you.
Food sometimes would get cold, I think it’s just cause other people would forget to close the lids to keep the food warm. Was a great experience otherwise and will be back.
Great views and food is always good. Good value for what you pay for.
Food was not hot and no fresh fruit or dinner rolls. Way overpriced for quality of food. However, view and restaurant beautiful.
Ok, we were there for my wife’s 70th birthday. The options were a plenty. I expected a brunch menu NOT a buffet!
The breakfast hot food was good. Shrimp & grits, scrambled eggs and bacon etc. 👍
oysters were cool, mussels were cold (should have been in a warm broth). 👎
Pastries 👍 so mixed review I guess.
We were very pleased with our waiter. The food was the best we had lately. Will be returning great hospitality
