Vast Japanese menu of sushi & small plates plus sake & cocktails in the trendy Sixty LES Hotel. Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya is a Japanese-style tavern, a traditional Sushi Bar and a fine dining experience, all about melding a fun drinking environment with delicious food offerings. The menu provides something for everyone - vegetarians, sushi lovers and meat lovers alike. We serve everything from small plate items like yakitori by the piece, to family-style platters like filet mignon with lobster platter. Expert Sushi Chefs behind the Sushi Bar create made-to-order fresh sashimi, sushi and signature rolls. All this to accompany hand crafted Japanese beers, sochu style cocktails and an extensive sake and wine list.

    Asked for the chefs choice of sushi and he just gave us tuna, salmon and hamachi. Disappointing. Though the fish was excellent.

    Enjoyed a quiet evening with a friend of mine. Easily the best sushi in the city. Had the Blue Ribbon roll and fried oyster. Delicious! Ended the night with dessert and some plum wine, which I would highly recommend. Great location.

    Service was terrible. We had a reservation and they sat us by the bar while everyone else was in the dining room. Brought food we didn’t order but did agree to take it off the menu.

    Having been to other Blue Ribbon establishments we were very excited to try here. Hamachi crudo was great, but the rice for all other sushi dishes was sub-par at best. Odd flavorings as well and food didn’t feel fresh overall. Most disappointing was our waiter, though nice, was quite uninformed about the menu when we asked questions. For a $500+ for 3 people, there are far better options in NYC.
