BLT Steak - at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba
What a a disappointment the fish was not fresh and they serve it with the whole skin not even seared. The Mac and cheese was DRY and the pate should not be served a a friendly on the house appetizer it was not good ! Half of our group got sick. So sad ! Was really looking forward to this !
Since BLT opened in Aruba we've been there three times. We were so happy the first time that we couldn't wait to go again, and were just as happy the second time. This year we were somewhat disappointed. First, of our party of six, three of us were looking forward to the short ribs. Not until we placed our order were we told they were out of them. My two children ordered surf and turf, and both were disappointed in the lobster which they said had very little flavor. I don't eat lobster, and I don't think you do much to it when you cook it, so as far as the flavor I defer to aficionados to know why that might be. The steak I had was good, but I'm not sure it was good enough to justify the price. We ordered some side dishes to share, and the mashed potatoes were served in a crock with barely enough for one person, never mind to pass around. The asparagus was slightly more generous. A meal for six, drinks for three, and a few desserts came to over $1000 before the tip. The atmosphere was nice as we dined outdoors, the service was excellent, but the food and the cost left us doubtful that we will return next year.
Great restaurant, the food is amazing and perfectly cooked, the atmosphere is really nice where you can talk and still hear the music in the background and the service is outstanding, thank you!!!!
We had a great evening at BLT. Dennis our head waiter and his associates did an incredible job of looking after us and making our Anniversary dinner a special night out.

i was looking forward to a great steak dinner in Aruba as this restaurant was recommended by an associate. However for the price we paid it didn’t measure up. I wish we had gone to another ateakhouse, thNk you.
Was on the island for 5 nights and actually stayed at a hotel down the street from BLT with plenty of restaurants in and around. We discovered BLT and had dinner there the last two nights. We had dinner at the bar, Lehino and Mr. Greg were the bartenders and their remarkable service and bring ever so attentive was the main reason we made it 2 nights in a row. Food was remarkable and by far the best restaurant on the island!! Service as well!!
I usually don't write reviews but I hope that through my review, others give their opinion. I'm lactose intolerant and as such did not find much that I could order to accompany my delicious steak. The steak was great, the service fantastic, the choices to order with steak, not acceptable. I hope they do better for future guests. Such a great place, expectations are high.
Have eaten at Eddie Merlots, Hyde Park, Ruth’s Cris, Morton’s, The Chop House in Naples and Gibson’s and Chicago Cut, and expected it to be a notch above, given the reviews, but was somewhat disappointed. Was given a Restaurant Guide book by the concierge at the neighboring Marriott where we were staying which indicated that there was a Sunset Menu at a limited price but was advised it was discontinued at seating. This was never addressed by the management. The service was outstanding but the flies and the gnats on the outdoor patio were unbearable and detracted from the experience. The beef short rib had a hard crust on the outside which was hard to chew but exceptional in the center. My wife had the fillet which was good but she and I ate at Papillon in Nord two days earlier and had the early menu special which featured a fillet, which was outstanding in comparison to the one at BLT.
I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND BLT TO ANYONE. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING, THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE STAFF WERE SO VERY NICE AND ACCOMMODATING. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK. IT WAS A PLEASURE DINING THERE.
The steaks were inferior. Period!!!!!!!!

This was our second night this week... we tried Casa Nonna and the Japanese restaurant at the RC-Aruba.
This is their best restaurant on the premises. The premium food quality and service were the highlights of our dinner. Thank you !!!

The service was excellent. The food and wine were very good but over priced. The music was a bit loud and did not fit the style of the restaurant. One steak was over cooked but quickly replaced and done correctly.
Went to BLT STEAK to celebrate me and my twins birthday! Amazing place, the food was outstanding and Carlos our waiter was super nice to us! They gave us complimentary cake with candles! Would definitely recommend it!
Top notch from start to finish. Staff was exceptionally polite. Food was brought out in a timely fashion and cooked to our liking. Wine selection was a lot better than we anticipated. The server added a nice personal touch at the end of the meal by giving us something a little extra to take back with us! Classy! Highly recommend this place!
My husband and I ordered the porter house steak for 2 that was highly recommended from the waitress . As we were very disappointed it had no flavor at all it was the worse steak ever eaten in Aruba .for what it cost we will never return to this restaurant again and would not recommend to friends
Wonderful experience. The most amazing popovers, fabulous filet mignon and chocolate dessert. The service was excellent and the manager went out of his way to assist us when my daughter had a headache🏝
Outstanding!!! I visited this location last year, and enjoyed it so much, upon my return to Aruba I had to go back. The restaurant offers outdoors and indoors dining. Although I usually prefer outdoors dining, the night I went to the restaurant was too hot, and there wasn't a breeze so we dined inside. The service and food once again were amazing. The complimentary popovers are so warm and tasty. For an appetizer, we enjoyed the burrata and grilled double cut bacon, and our dinner choices were braised short ribs and dover sole. The short ribs were so good they just fell off the bone...just the way I like it! Everything was delicious, and I will be sure to visit again.

Most attentive service. Food is delicious with so many options. Manager Jose checked on us periodically. The waiter Mangala was terrific. He kept my 6 year old grandson busy with amazing origami birds he made for him. Have been coming to Aruba since 1994 and this has been the best dining experience.
First of all we were 5 minutes early for a reservation with an empty restaurant and were made to wait. The service was very good server was very knowledgeable and attentive we ordered the prime rib for two which is pre-cut and we were told it could be served at different temperatures my wife medium well myself rehr the entire steak came out rare running blood which was a turn-off for her. That was quickly rectified by the wait staff and the steak was re-fired. Side dishes for disappointing we were not told that they were basically not sharing portions unlike Sullivan's or Del Frisco's so we were a little underwhelmed by them. I have to say the Ambiance was that of an early 80s rock show why one would listen to 80s on 8 on Sirius for an ambience to a beautiful restaurant on a nice Aruban night is beyond me listening to lover boy over dinner is not my idea of appropriate dinner music. However on the plus side the cheese popovers or phenomenal some of the best I've ever had and the signature watermelon mojito was certainly one of the best drinks I have ever had. And I will try to replicate when I am home it was definitely a work of art
The main course was very good the sides were all Luke warm and dry and the famous popover was burnt. I told them about the popover and they just kinda blew us off.
Elmer was perhaps the best waiter that we have ever experienced. He was there for us in every way that we wanted. Dinner was perfect. Drinks were perfect. We look forward to going back and hopefully having him be our waiter.
The steak was the best I ever had done just right and tender
Very inconsistent. One filet was perfection, the other charcoal. No king crab legs, no king crab risotto (on the chef SPECIAL list), no charcoal for the signature dark margarita. Hostess very uncomfortably, and at times forcefully, kept trying to sit people near the back of the restaurant near the restrooms while the front half of the restaurant near the windows remained empty. Silver Oak by the glass was a nice touch but honestly no better overall than a chain such as the Capital Grille. Not worthy of the reputation. Take a cab elsewhere on the island for a much better steak and experience.
Disappointed in crab cake appetizer, very dry, not much taste. We got the porterhouse for 2, filet was delicious, sirloin was slightly undercooked( asked for med-rare) middle was raw and chewy.
Was very good, but not worth the money. Better places in Aruba for steak.
BLT is a very expensive restaurant that you expect to deliver an outstanding meal. The food is good...but you are expecting outstanding given the prices.
The service is very good, and the setting is lovely.

Although a steak house, we had superb halibut and tuna.
Very nice overall. The Cowboy and Kansas City streaks were both very good. Service was very good and a nice touch for the anniversary with a dessert and special message on the plate.
The outdoor setting is pretty; excellent service; fairly high prices. The warm from the oven turnovers and the superb service were delightful.

The service was exceptional. We are picky eaters. Everything was fine! Except the steaks! They where cold! This has happened many times. I wish they could fix this 😏
