I've been wanting to have dinner at this restaurant for quite some time. We did the 5 course menu. The food was good, very well thought out and a fun experience. A couple of the drinks we had left a little to be desired. The Freak A Zoid left little to be desired despite the description which sounded so yummy. We were here for our anniversary and they noted that upon our arrival and gave us a comfy booth to sit at. The waitress did a great job and was attentive. Food was overall good just not sure if the expense was worth the experience.

This was our first time at Blood & Sand we totally loved the vibe, the food, and the service! The staff were kind, respectful, and helpful with menu choices. The enjoyed the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. It had a romantic feel. Perfect for a date. We also enjoyed every course! The drinks were great too

Food was ok, nothing special. They were out of Elk. Drinks were good—Bob, our waiter was outstanding!! We don’t feel the urge to go back—there is nothing that would make us drive over the river when we could get better food in Illinois.

Cool vibe. Cocktails were on point. Interesting and flavorful. Comfortable easy-going atmosphere and staff. Every bite was engaging, flavorful, and balanced. Star performance from the duck. Halibut a silver medalist for “bite of the night”.

We did the Tailored Chef’s Tasting for two, and it was delicious! It’s a LOT of food - we have previously done the 5 course meal. Unless we’re super hungry (or go easy on the first few courses) the five course tasting will probably stay as our go-to. The cocktails were really good and service was very attentive. We’ll be back!

We did the 10 course tasting, which was great. It felt like the chef cared about the food he was putting out. The presentation was spot on. Next time, I think I would just do the 5 course tasting. It was just so much food with the 10 that I couldn't finish everything. Our server was very attentive and explained each course and the wine that was paired with it. 5 🌟

We had a great experience. The highlight of the night were all the staff members we encountered. Everyone was very professional but personable. It seemed like they genuinely enjoyed the food they were serving and their workplace. The food was also top notch. We did the 5 course tasting and I left having tried new things, liking every single dish between both my husband and my choices ( so 10 dishes), and feeling exactly full enough without being over stuffed. One thing we loved, but could be a thing to point out to some, the music leaned toward 90s rap.

This may be the best restaurant on Earth!! At the very least, it’s the best restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I’ve tried a LOT! All around the world, on land and sea, this one is a 10 out of 5!!!! I went for the first time weeks ago, and I still wake up thinking about when I’m going to go back. I’m hooked.

The food was just ok and extremely small portions. I get that it’s a tasting menu, but then have the price reflect that you are just getting a small snack. Almost $300 for two people and had to find another place to eat after. The service was very strange as well. The only way I can describe it was that everyone was awkward and over the top in trying to be professional but ended up being very unprofessional. Ambiance did not reflect the price point. Overall would definitely not recommend.

One of, if not, the best meal I ever had. From the chef's focus on detail and flavors to the hospitality of the wait staff, the evening was a wonderful experience. The 5 course tasting menu was well curated and all choices were delicious. The drink selection was stellar as well with so many choices of wine, liquor, and cocktails. Highly recommend reserving a dinner slot, and enjoying the evening.

Unfortunately our experience was very poor. Everything we ordered on the menu was unavailable, including the bar menu. I feel bad for our server, She kept apologizing for not having what we wanted and after the 6th option not being available she started looking embarrassed. End up ordering tater tots and few cocktails. Restaurant design is old and curtains next to our table were so dirty. We were expecting to have a great experience, but left so disappointed.

Excellent. Server was fantastic. Everything was wonderful dirty martini was not to my liking or the poutine course in the tasting menu but everything else was exquisite.
