It was our anniversary and the only two tables they had available for us were by the front door were it was busy and drafty. We asked the server Mark if we could have the YYC food and drink feature for dinner but not be served one of the soups. He said no substitutions but we rebutted and said it wasn’t we just don’t want it and will still pay. He was to quick to react and didn’t listen but got it in the end. The rest of the service was adequate but he wasn’t very personable. As for the decor the light above us still had a dead dragonfly in it with a lot of other bugs and it was March!!! There was burnt out lights in the men’s washroom and missing grout on tiles on the stairs. Makes you wonder if they can’t keep the maintenance up on the front facing stuff what’s happening in the back of house. Also what’s the point of listing that it was our anniversary when no one made mention of it at the restaurant or did anything special. Seems like it is just data collection and doesn’t translate to the customer service side of the business. Overall great food but needs work on the other items.

We reserved a table for lunch. The ambience is lovely but we were disappointed in the food. My quiche was a generous portion, but it did not have the consistency of being properly cooked plus there was no cheese in the filling. My friend ordered the tortellini and felt her portion was small and the dish was rather tasteless.

We had dinner here before a theatre show and would definitely have dinner here again. The atmosphere is welcoming, with very friendly and professional staff. Our server helped us pick wine for our meal and found him very knowledgeable. My husband and I are vegetarian and had the mushroom agnolotti, which was delicious.

NICE PLACE. OUR FIRST TIME HERE. WE ARE VEGAN AND CONTACTED THEM AHEAD OF TIME SINCE THE MAIN MENU DIDN'T OFFER ANYTHING. WE HAD A RESPONCE INDICATING LOTS OF VEGAN OPTIONS LOTS THAT COULD BE MADE VEGAN WHEN WE ARRIVED ADN ASKED FOR THE VEGAN OPTIONS WE WER OFFERED A SALAD AND ONE MAIN DISH? TOO BAD . NICE PLACE BUT IF WE KNEW ONLY ONE OPTION WE WOUDL HAVE EITHER DESIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY OR PASS. WE TOOK A CARE SERVICE SO WE WERE BASICALLY EATING HERE NOW REGARDLESS OF THE OFFERINGS.

This restaurant seldom misses a beat. The food is different and delicious. The wine list is extensive with good selections by the glass. The service is polished and timed beautifully. Thank you for another wonderful lunch.

Our dinner was perfection from start to finish. The service was great as well. There is nothing I would have different. I had the squash veloute and mushroom agnolotti and my boyfriend had the octopus and perch. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding. Overall a wonderful meal!
