Super hot fire
Food was great and Jordan was amazing
Our server was fantastic. We sat outside in the reclaimed parking on J Street. The table and people watching was great. Very attentive waitress, although she appeared to be working solo. She was an absolute professional and prompt. Food was great. As a local I would come back often.
Seated in the outdoor space which was constructed during the pandemic. Great job at making that nice! So, the loudness changes with the Gaslamp, but overall it's a comfortable space. Food, good as always. We shared tacos - surf and turf, al pastor. Especially enjoy the street corn side dish. Excellent service.
Not the best I have ever had. My guest was very disappointed in the taco chips served with the guacamole!!! She disliked the Classic Paloma. My margarita and calimari were good. The service was adequate not great!!!
It was great as it was our first time. Was a little disappointed the bacon wrapped jalapeños only came with 3. Other than that it was a great experience
Good food and great service.
Surf and turf tacos one of the best dishes I’ve ever had
Menu is not very diverse although the variations to the usual Mexican fare is excellent. The cocktail selection is good.
The ceviche was superb. The Mexican pizza, Sonoran Queso Crisp, was very tasty. The Macha angus skirt steak was made to perfection, Correct temperature all throughout!!
The angus tacos were ok.
The Churros is a MUST!!! DELICIOUS!!!!
Our server was excellent. She didn’t rush us at all. Very sweet and efficient.
Blind Burro is a fave of our group! We love their street corn. Delicious food, amazing drinks and wonderful staff. We will be back!!
Almost average. Went for happy hour…apps over cooked. Margaritas good.
Great food -- loved the oversized quesadilla and the enchiladas. Ceviche starter also better than most.
Started with a double Clas Azul for me and a Cazadores Cadilac Margarita for Gwen. Then the Guacamole and Off the Cob Street Corn, followed by Asada Wings, Machete Shrimp and 2 to go boxes. Jordan provided excellent service and all dishes were very good. This was our 2nd visit, will be back when next in San Diego.
Great spot and wonderful shrimp tacos!!
Ehh! Nothing special! Bit overpriced for the food that was served and nothing tasted extra. It was just ok, would try something else.
Ate an early Friday lunch while attending a nearby national convention. It was early and as such nearly empty. An expansive space with a great bar. My only criticism is that NO dark, brown, or red ales were on offer. This is NOT unique to this restaurant. Unfortunately, for me, I am living in an I.P.A. world! Having lived in England and being in and out of the U.K. and Ireland for my entire adult life, I cannot ‘lower’ myself to drink straw colored ‘beers’!
Service was great and the food was delicious.
Tacos were delicious and the service was great! The chips were a little too thick for my liking but thats just me!
The dip served with calamari elevated this appetizer. The enchiladas we outstanding! I was shocked how well carrots and black beans go together! My husband had lobster tacos with poblano rice and was pleased.
Making the reservation via Open Table was flawless. Walked up at the reservation time and they had the table ready for us even though it was quite busy due to baseball game.
Service was really good and food came out pretty fast.
Chips and salsa were awesome. Everyone at the table had tacos. I thought the fillings were good but felt that the tortillas could have been cooked more. Overall though, I'd go back.
It's close the stadium and the outside seating was good.
Food was amazing. Great atmosphere!! Would recommend
Atmosphere had potential, but overall it was okay. Food was ok, not great not bad, average for the price. You have to pay for chips and salsa. They add a 4% charge to your bill for the hardships they have had (haven’t we all had them). Probably won’t be going back next time in the San Diego area.
Brunch intermittently available, but lunch/dinner menu is awesome.
Very expensive tacos.
Just not worth it. Food wasn’t tasty. Didn’t touch my veggie tacos. One bite and didn’t care for it. Server didn’t notice apparently and didn’t check in soon enough after getting our food so I couldn’t swap it for anything else. We sat down at 5:05 and a waiter came up finally at 5:18. Overall not a memorable spot.
Had a great dinner. Excellent pomegranate margaritas!
Great tacos, friendly staff, and great drinks! I come here every time I am in San Diego and it never disappoints. Some of our favs are the lobster, fish and short rib tacos. The churros are always amazing.
We didn't try too many items but the Chicken, Grilled Fish and Al Pastor tacos were all very good. The Calamari was nothing special. The guacamole was a generous portion but could have used some more seasoning. The salsa was decent but lacked any distinctive character. The service was very good. Nice outdoor seating area.
If you're in that zone and you're craving a taco it is worth the stop, it is not Puesto but it is pretty good.
Lobster tacos n there corn ,where do delicious 😋
Wish they would bring back the tongue taco.
Don’t go here on a game day if you’re not in town to watch the game. We came here on a Friday night when there was a Padres game happening and were quite surprised to find the entire restaurant blasting the Padres game on every TV & speaker VERY loudly. This is not a sports bar (and definitely isn’t priced as one), and we were in town for a bachelorette, plus a couple of us had been there previously and that was not at all the vibe, so it was a disappointing experience overall. It’s one thing to have the game on the TVs at the bars (realistically only one bar needed to have it on, it was maybe at 20% capacity overall), but to have it literally blasting throughout the entire restaurant was extremely excessive. We definitely would never go here on a game day ever again and wish we’d had any idea it would be that way prior to booking our reservation, since we would have booked something different had we known. Such a bumm
Great food. Street corn is amazing!
My entre was under cooked. It was much better after I took it home and browned the corn tortilla
Food was not good
First time here and had an issue with the small amount of margarita you get for the price of $13 and $16. You got maybe 8 ounces and if I’m paying that much, it needs to be more than that. The tacos de pollo and carne asada tacos were very good along with both beans.
The food and drinks were so good, came here for a birthday dinner.
Started with the Traditional Guacamole, Clase Azul, Burro Cadillac Margarita, then the Cilantro-Lime Shrimp and Surf & Turf Tacos. The Guacamole was chunky and tasty, the Chips were thick, crunchy and could hold up to the Guacamole. Tacos were very good and Lexi was GREAT. I never ran out of water.
The food was delicious. I ordered the grilled fish tacos. They were amazing! My son ordered the carne asada tacos and the meat was delicious. Will definitely go back.
Food wasn’t good. Service was ok
