The Blind Burro specializes in fresh, coastal Baja Mexican cuisine. Our emphasis is on quality, from the customer service, to the ingredients we use in all of our hand crafted food and drinks. We want our guests to enjoy Baja Mexican fare right here in East Village, San Diego. Come in and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where you can meet over a carafe of spicy margaritas or on tap house sangria. . Or try us for lunch with clients while enjoying steak tacos and a quinoa mixed green salad. We are located in the heart of the East Village neighborhood just of the Gaslamp in downtown San Diego. We are one block from the baseball stadium. There is pleny of metered street parking and alot of both private and public pay lots.

There is a trolley station that stops on Broadway, which is 6 blocks northeast of us. The main bus route comes right down Market Street which is two blocks away.

We made a reservation via the Open Table app before a Padre game. While checking in on time, the hostess told me it would be a 20 minute wait, even though we had a reservation. She then told me they don't take reservations for game days, even though I made on on the open Table app. Eventually, she was able to find us a table. Food and drinks were good, as always. Service was solid.

Overall a very good experience. Carne Asada and Shrimp tacos were delicious. Cocktails were great and overall the value was very good comparatively. Will be back!

Even though the bartender was the only person to wait on the entire restaurant he did a great job. Food was yummy and the atmosphere relaxing.

The food was delicious! The drinks were also delicious! Food is moderately priced, but the drinks are quite expensive! Guacamole was plentiful and very tasty! Our server was extremely helpful and personable! First time at blind and we would come again!
