fresh basil, touch of citrus
beef short rib in red wine, mushrooms, house-smoked bacon, carrots, baby potatoes, caramelized pearl onions

Service fantastic we took our time and they acknowledged my friend’s birthday. She loved the mussels and the escargot tho not in the shell was in wonderful sauce. However Spanish onion soup and short rib too sweet from the sherry for me. Creme brûlée and chocolate mousse fantastic! She liked her white wine waiter Leo recommended. Discovered absinthe tastes like black licorice so didn’t care for the champagne mix for Hemingway’s drink. Stick with his Mojito and Prosecco in the future! Ha! Their Syrah red wine was yummy! Dinner for 2 about $225. Birthday gal was blown away. Next time I’ll get the scallops if no sherry in the sauce. Too expensive with lobster risotto I wouldn’t want. I will go back if special occasion and someone treats me or go “Dutch”. Might try other dishes via takeout. All in all recommend trying Bleu Boheme, it’s ambience, service and Leo! Thanks, Bleu Boheme for a special night!
Surprising neighbourhood gem. Great french cuisine.
One of our favorites in town for great authentic French food. From our starter plates to the shared mussels and the pork chop and oyster/mushroom ravioli entrees to the creme brulee dessert all outstanding dishes
Bleu Boheme never disappoints. The food is exceptional, and so is the service. Christy was our server. She was friendly, efficient, and her recommendations were much appreciated.
Fantastic food, entire team was very professional
We used to go to this restaurant many years ago and we liked it a lot. we came back to be pleasantly surprised with everything: ambience, service, food, restrooms, price.
Good food and service.
Little slow but no big rush
This is a gem of a restaurant in San Diego! I have never been to France, but I felt transported to another place. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We had the Moules Frites aux Champignons and the Gnocchi à la Parisienne. The Basil Martini was absolutely delicious. This is now one of my favorite restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes.
Delicious meal with a great atmosphere.
We loved our food, our wine and the attentiveness of the waitress. I had Steak Frites, one friend had C0q de Vin and my daughter the salmon. 👍
What a wonderful time we had at Bleu Boheme! They have lovely tables set up outside with heat lamps keeping everything cozy. The service from Leo was very friendly and the food delicious! We go there often for special occasions, like New Year's or, you know, Tuesday.
It's a great place that combines the vibe of a neighborhood restaurant and a fancy place, always full of locals, including us!
Amazing food - we are so excited to come back and try more of the food!
Great martinis and an excellent wine list. Dinners and desserts were excellent!
The food was amazing. Enjoy any of the muscles on the menu. So delicious and not at all earthy. Everything was so delicious and the atmosphere takes you right to France. Love this place. Highly recommend.
If you haven't been already, don't go! I want to keep this place an intimate secret! The ambiance and service were outstanding! The menu was well planned, wine selection is well-rounded. You have to try the Lobster Crepe, the Onion Tart, and the Beef Bourguignon. Would love to make several excuses to keep returning! Such a nice change from the national high-end dinner establishments. Okay Go!!
Super evening--great food--great atmosphere. definitely will be back.
Great restaurant for ambience, amazing service and wine selection. The food portions shrunk .I would like to see more food/side orders on the menu other than that I would recommend Bleu Boheme to a friend.
Charming atmosphere with wonderful, classic bistro menu. Salads are delicious but Sauces could have been more flavorful- e.g. moutarde, saffron, provencale. Service was slow and loud music made it difficult to enjoy conversation while waiting.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
Service was bad. Even with reservations. We had to wait to even get greeted. Then from them on it took longer and longer for each item. Drinks, ordering, dessert, bill. Wasn’t impressed with the food. Not what this restaurant once was. Very disappointing.
Great food - intimate table for two despite the surrounding noise. Bleu Boheme is a restaurant we frequented often in the past but not in recent years. It was great to rediscover it!
Everything was amazing as it always is and appreciate it!
I celebrated my 50th birthday , Dinner was wonderful!
Excellent food, service and experience. The ambiance is so unique and special!
Perfect place to celebrate our family holiday dinner. food excellent, service
and ambience great.
Simply amazing food. You must try the mussels. Service was prompt and to the point. Waitress was quick to respond when asked for her favorites. Meal came quickly and portions are larger than you’d expect for a higher end restaurant. Will definitely return.
We really love this place! The mussel bisque was an unexpected (not on the menu) and delicious surprise. Salmon and Croque de Garçon are the reasons we keep coming back.
Outstanding, great food and noise level was very low, we talked about thet during our delicious dinner!
We love our experiences created within the milieu of this fabulous restaurant. Having been a captain at fine French restaurants in New Orleans, I appreciate the level of quality delivered by the staff, the chefs and the clientele.
Leo amazing service
I took a group of friends for their first Bleu Boheme experience. They loved it!! From the first hello from our waiter, thru dessert, everything was exceptional. All agreed they want to return again soon. Thank you for making every visit memorable….for all the right reasons!!
No better place to sample French fare than Bleu Boheme. In particular, a great variety of traditional Moule Frites (mussels and fries) options as well as other French standards. Even their bread supply is satisfyingly crusty. Portions will not leave you hungry and of course, there are other options besides mussels and all are very tasty.
Excellent service and the food is awesome! Have been coming here for years.
All was neat perfect, too bad A/C was on while 55 outside🥶
We hadn’t been in a long time and decided to go because their fall menu was advertised. We got there and it was the exact same menu they’ve had for years except prices are much higher. Cocktails were excellent. Food was good but menu is limited. We won’t be rushing back despite living in the neighborhood.
Cow au vin was acceptable but I wouldn’t recommend. Profiteroles was terrible. Pastry puff was soft and mushy. We been to Bleu Boheme many times before but it’s never been this bad with food & service. I will not try again for awhile & hope it gets better in time.
Always wonderful food
The moules et frites are always outstanding, but everything else is delicious, and I love the warm, cozy atmosphere as opposed to all the modern concrete and glaass venues
Really great choice for my wife's birthday. She loves France and loved everything about this place. Will be back again.
I hadn’t been to Bleu Boheme in over two years and was very disappointed in my experience this time; I don’t know if this was an off night or the new normal. Service was friendly but incredibly slow and servers kept apologizing to tables for how long drinks and food were taking. Our mains arrived about 90 minutes after we were seated and were just okay. The steak was tough and I didn’t finish it. The mussels didn’t have much flavor and there was no bread offered at any point.
The cheese and meat half board is enough for two, but the cheese selection, at least, was very pedestrian. I’d hoped for at least one cheese that I can’t buy at Trader Joe’s or the like.
We were seated outside near a heat lamp but it made very little difference, so if you’re sitting outside, be sure to dress for the weather.
