Food was excellent. Service was not great. Waitress got initial order wrong, and then forgot a desert order later. They did comp the desert, when they brought it like 20 minutes later. We usually have good service here.
Been 5X, went on Mothers day and quality of the food just wasn't the same. Bummer
Had s great lunch for Mother’s Day but didn’t realize it was fixed price till we were sitting down ordering drinks. It was fine but wished I had asked sooner. Didn’t note it on open table when made reservations
Four stars for food, five for everything else. Lobster bisque was OK. Tarte chaud was great. Beef Bourgonone (sp) also great. Salmon was delicious. All the deserts were good. Pleasant place to dine overall.
The restaurant is lovely and the food delicious. Highly recommend the quiche for brunch. I know it’s a French dining experience served in multiple courses, but the brunch took 2 hours. As adults, that’s no problem; however, small children don’t do as well with a long dining experience. Something to consider.
Great food and great service! Scallops, Foi gras, Boeuf Bourguignonne, cocktails and deserts were all delish!
Excellent French menu and wine selection, fantastic service. The meal was wonderful and we will return to try other menu items. Unique French atmosphere in San Diego.
The food was fantastic! The ambiance was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Personable service and authentic cuisine with a fixed price menu
Birthday celebration and a perfect choice!
The only thing that did bother us was the busboy took our dessert without saying anything before we were even finished. Other than that everything was excellent!
I was at Blu Boheme recently and had a great experience. This time as I was treating a friend for her birthday, the experience was disappointing, too noisy, waiter was too rushed and did not bring what I ordered, plus the wine arrived late.
Kitchen was very slow. Took 50 min to get entrees. Server was nice enough to offer a complimentary dessert but it took so long that we were not going to wait any longer.
the food was spectacular. great atmosphere and outstanding service.
appetizers and main course were perfect. dessert, brioche bread pudding was underwhelming.
The service and food was great. It was our first time, and absolutely we will return again. I got a complimentary dessert for my birthday and a birthday card which I believe it's thoughtful ❤
Authentic fine dining at its best
Love the tomato bisque & mussels! First time trying, will be back. Local gem.
Had reserved table; however, had drink pre-dinner drinks @‘bar and due to great service from Amelia, elected to eat there. Great time!
Food was salty, and the kids Mac n cheese was salty and loaded with black pepper which was at some point disturbing for us adults.
Onion soup and steak exceeded expectations.
Our server was awesome!
Nice ambiance/ food is not tradiotional French.
This place is a great place for a date or dinner with friends.
Excellent menu. The food is creative without being contrived or exaggerated. Many restaurants completely ignore the noise level, making it difficult or impossible to carry on a conversation. Here we were able to talk which is for me a very significant part of the pleasure of a good meal. We avoid restaurants with high noise levels no matter how good the food. Also, there is parking in the rear.
Very good dinner for my group. The food and ambiance were excellent.
Our experience at Bleu Boheme started with a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary which was signed and then placed on the table. The little touches continued from there. The candlelight on the table was from tall candles which back-lit the room bouncing off the brick walls. The soup was divine as was the salad. The beef bourguignon was superb with a delightful flavor and, oh so tender meet. The coquilles San Jacques was prepared perfectly as well. We were brought a scoop of chocolate mousee as a complimentary dessert to celebrate. It was perfect: light and just the right amount of sweetness. We will be back!
This restaurant never disappoints.. Always a special meal.
Every bite was delicious and savory! The service was friendly and efficient. Lovely French atmosphere. Transports you to Paris.
LOVE their crap cakes. So happy they are right down the street. Sorry they are now only open for dinner.
Always great. Duck Confit and Onion Tarts are superb.
It was the epitome of soul food served in a modern elegant way.
We had opted for the set menu. The portions are slightly smaller than ordering individually but it was still more than enough food. Everything was delicious. I had the butter lettuce salad and would definitely recommend it! The variety of flavors was wonderful! I order salmon as main course which was served over mixed vegetables- all vey tasty. Desert east a coconut mango bread pudding, also very good. Look forward to going back. Oh and free parking in the bank lot after six.
The mussels and fries are amazing and a favorite. I found the crab cakes delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.
Service, food, wine and atmosphere was great. Great hangout if your looking for spot to eat.
The food and service were both excellent as always. Everyone has a great time and enjoyed their food.
Celebrated 2 of my BFF bdays. This place is always an oldie, but a goodie for us. My girls and I love the mussels. Great place to dine and hang out for hours, except it is very pricey. One appetizer, 3 mussel entrees, 2 fish dishes and dessert cost over $300!
Reserved a table for four, celebrating a birthday. Attentive server, enjoyed the ambiance of candles throughout the restaurant, food was excellent, complimentary dessert, dark chocolate mousse completed our experience.
Best French onion soup ever! We had the specials, really great. Service spot on.
A great find in Kensington! Food was amazing! Basil martini fabulous!!!
My husband and I go often to the bar. Gigi serves us most of the time. He knows what we like. We love the ambience - food oh yes and vino.
The food was amazing, one of the best meals we’ve had in San Diego.
It was very noisy even at a table for 2 conversation was almost impossible. I had the skirt steak and wished I had ordered a different item on the menu- it was very thin and had a lot of grissel would not recommend.
Food was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely return when I visit San Diego next!
