Twin Cold-Water Atlantic Lobster Tails
Two exceptionally sweet and tender lobster tails served with drawn butter and fresh lemon
Great service and food. Prices are reasonable. Will go back again without hesitation.
Food was good, but not quite to pre-covid levels. Service was meh. Nothing special. Enjoyed my meal, but should have gone somewhere I did not frequent before covid, so the comparison wouldn't be there
Food was delicious as always and the service at this restaurant can't be beat!
We loved our waitess Olivia! Great customer service.
The food was very good but the service was poor. We had to ask several times to get excess dishes removed from the table. There was literally no room on the table to comfortably eat or enjoy the meal. My advice, take your food to go!
Love the garlic mash potatoes and side salad with ranch! The fresh baked molasses bread is dreamy
Stuart Anderson's never disappoints. Food and service are excellent. Prices are amazing.
It was just like we remembered it. It's always been a family favorite, and we were so thrilled to get back there!! It will be a monthly regular visit!!
Although we had reservations for three, the hostess gave us two menus and suggested we “scan the QR code” for an additional menu. If I wanted to do that I wouldn’t know how. Our meal cost $140 and we tipped $30 cash. Why are they being petty about one additional paper menu? You can bet I’ll be sharing this experience with everyone I know.
The Prime Rib was not up to their usual standards and it is why we go to Black Angus.
Appetizer and dinner were very good. We took desert home and something was not right with the cheesecake. That was surprise as usually everything is very good. Great service and it is always nice to be able to relax and have a good meal with someone.
Good value, quiet environment, good service, food was okay.
Enjoyed a tasty and tender filet dinner! Highly recommend it for a nice evening out!
Wow. Blast from the past. I hadn’t dined here since I was in my 20’s. I was a bit apprehensive, but it was all for naught. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of cleanliness despite the aging outdated decor. You can tell they try really hard to keep it that way. Our server was friendly and attentive. As was the hostess and food runner. The food is good. Not amazing, but for the price you’re paying it’s good. The salads were fresh and crisp, the potatoes baked perfectly. Now for the steaks. I had ribeye. It was a bit gristly and because it was an uneven butcher cut, the cook was uneven. But I still ate it all. My friend had the filet and she was happy with it. All in all, it was a good experience and I’ll definitely come back. In my opinion it’s better than Saylers Kitchen, most definitely.
Service was incredible, the restaurant was quiet, tavles cleaned good after guests and the food was great!
Convenient locate from the Portland area, food cook to order.
Dinner was excellen and so was the service, will eat there again.
Me and my wife have come to black and years many times over the years to celebrate big occasions. We came here when we found out we were pregnant with both of our sons. We came here to celebrate our engagement. We have come here many times over the years. This was my final time. Me and my wife had argued over black Angus, or saylers. I hadnt been to ladder and as always, heavily pushed for black angus. It started out nice. Our waitress was very kind, she expressed that she was having a rough night, but handled us very well. I think we tipped her well still. I paid for a 16 ounce ribeye. I asked for it rare, but it was at the table before our salads (which were extremely wilted and brown) What I received was a completely raw steak that was seared on both sides and nothing more. I couldn’t cut through the tissue, the marbling was still just big uncuttable strings of fat. It was bad. I asked for it to be remade, and they were very understanding. They brought me back a new steak and asked me to cut into it to be sure it was good. I did, and it looked OK. But it was so tough… I took a bite, enjoyed the A1 sauce mostly, because there was no flavor in it at all (on either steak)… Then boxed the rest up and took it home. Yesterday I took it out of the fridge and gave it to my dog, I think she thought it was OK. It was a waste of $40 though. Altogether I was extremely disappointed that I spent $120 on such a horrible meal. I won’t be back, and I guess I’ll be checking out saylers.
We have always enjoyed the food , service and atmosphere at Black Angus. This was the first time we had been there since the pandemic. The food was amazing as always. Our reservation was for 5:00pm , we arrived at 4:45 pm and was taken right to our table. Service was fantastic and quick. We had dinner with dessert and was done at 5:50pm. I would highly recommend Black Angus to everyone
Great food great service. Service was outstanding.
The food was well prepared and had excellent taste.
Well worth the visit.
Steak looked like it was microwaved it tasted ok though
Rolled dry like day old reheated. Kids steak so tough the knife wouldn’t cut. Adult meals absolutely superb!! Strawberry Lemon Drop was Devine
The service and food was wonderful. Our server was great! The four of us had a great time. I am so glad that Black Angus is open again.
Great specials, Covid precautions were excellent, service was great.
Food was great, we had the prime rib. Our waitress was outstanding.
Absolutely great service, great food. Never have a problem ever at this restaurant.
Excellent service! Food was great. Will be back for sure.
Delicious food and amazing drinks! It can be spendy but ever once in a while it is so worth it!
Wonderful service and great food.
Great service and food as ususal
My buddy and I had a great meal. The seating during virus was great at spacing.
service was good but food was a little off compared tp pre-pandemic. Sent steak back but was replaced without question. always thought B.A. was best value for the money.
Wine list is weak.
Everything was great. Expect there was a hair in my food, about 6 inches. But we waited a while and I was too hungry to care.
Other than that good
Food was delicious and the service was great! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a nice steak dinner.
This is our weekly go to. Great service constantly good food and we don’t have to Maria’s the bridge into Portland
The food and service are great, I have recommended many friends to have dinner there.
All 4 of had a variation of the same surf and turf special and all were very pleased.
My top cut sirloin was tuff could barely cut it , primerib was good but to fatty . Our server was very good , was overall dissatisfied with the steak and Primerib
The options and deals they have are great! I would only suggest to the restaurant to improve on the mashed potatoes. I love mashed potatoes but would not order theirs again until they change them. Steaks are really good.
Ribeye steak was disappointing. Very thin cut. Ordered medium. Arrived well done. After third attempt, it finally arrived medium, however so much fat and grizzle; more than typical for this cut, and meat was not at all tender. Use to love this place. Sadly the steaks have really went down hill. To their credit, service was excellent and they really tried. They comped us the steak, which was considerate, given the wait and quality, however we won't be ordering steak again. We will stick with the Happy Hour Menu in the future.
