Server was very nice but she forgot to enter my lobster tails so they didn't come out with the rest of the food which basically ruined the meal. She was very nice and apologized several times but, we were never offered a discount, dessert, or anything other than an apology. You would think their would have been something else offered besides an apology on a $230.00 bill.
Our server Toshi was excellent. The steaks and prime rib were very good but the broccoli and asparagus was cold. The lobster was cold and rubbery. Our server Toshi brought us hotter vegetables which we appreciated. I would not order lobster again.
I had the BES T filet mignon ever for my 78th birthday dinner!
We make special trips just to visit a Black Angus. We love Black Angus restaurants. The food is consistently good and ample, and the wait staff is always efficient and kind. This is not sophisticated dining, but it's good and a good value.
The waitress was really good. Great service! Timing was great. We had a great time.
The greeter was rude when I checked in for my reservation. I approached and started I had a reservation for two. She then asks do you have a reservation. Again, I state yes that is what I just said. She then asks rudely what's your name?
The best part of are experience was the waiter. Always seamed like he was just in time dint feel rushed or like we were waiting and he has a good personality
Black Angus is our favorite place to eat. We can usually find a coupon for the Campfire Feast. Love the brown bread. The servers are always helpful.
They did a great job. Except :We all ordered baked potatoes with our dinners (3). One of the potatoes was the size of an NFL football. The other two were the size of golf balls. We felt kind of ripped off. They saw this, but instead of just bringing out a second potatoe to even things up, they took the two smaller ones back from our meals and gave us new slightly bigger ones than the ones we had.
We have ate here multiple times and the food is usually excellent. Last night the prime rib and ny steak weren't very good. The bummer part is that it was my wife's birthday dinner.
I would love to say that Black Angus was awesome but it wasn't. I have been eating Black Angus food since sometime in 1969 and they've been in a steady decline since then. My Ribeye steak was 20% fat and my wife's Top Sirloin was very good and cooked perfectly for her. Our waitress was fabulous and probably the best part of the night. I had won a free steak due to the Football Pool I play weekly so our value was outstanding! (Where can you get 2 steaks, 4 sides, and a bottle of wine for $76??) We'll probably go back since it generates so much nostalgia for us and I'm hoping the food quality stops its inexorable slide to Ihop/Denny's/Country Kitchen quality food.
I went here on a Saturday night and it was not too busy and the noise was very low. The hostess was nice but the waitress seemed to care less if we were there or not and seemed more into rushing us out the door and made us feel like a inconvenience rather than valued customers. The food was good and well priced though. So overall we would come back to this location and would recommend this place.
The hostess was unimpressive.
Def better overall on this Friday than the last sundays. Sunday’s weren’t bad though. Sunday servers been great. Bartender and cook though on Sunday aren’t great.
I appreciate it all, thanks
Everything was fine for me but my husband had problems with his food his steak well done not medium well. His mashed potatoes were cold. They redid his potatoes but he didn't mention his steak...he was just really disappointed cause we normally don't have any problems with their food. I am STILL UPSET THEY WILL NOT BRING BACK THEIR HONEY MUSTARD salD dressing.
Had a great server who assisted us with great choices and let us know about other deals. I would definitely would like to be served by him again.
There were only a small group of two each group of customers, which the waitress placed our booths next to each other way too close as opposed to skipping one table/booth apart. That had ruined the whole ambience, as there was no peace and quiet due to this rudeness. as the other woman made several loud cell phone calls talking out-loud. Bad I did side dining experience, We will not be returning. I do NOT recommend the Federal Way Black Angus Restaurant. The restaurant was not crowded but insisted upon seating arrangements like a can of sardines even though the whole time no other customers were present.
Very good service and our steaks were cooked perfectly.
We ordered the campfire feast. Everything was cooked perfectly. The only thing was we had to remind the waitress to bring our salads, dessert and drinks!
As always the Black Angus does not disappoint! It was very busy for a Thursday evening and we wee seated quickly, considering all the people who were there! Randy, our server, was great, has a great attitude and knows what is customers want, he is very on point with everything, gets you what you want the way you want it! The bartender was also very good at his craft, making an amazing Mango Margarita for me that was sweet and delicious! And of course our steaks were on point! Cooked perfectly, I never needed tp pick up the salt and pepper or use any steak sauce and neither should you if it is cooked properly! You can always count on a good steak here!
Server informed us that restaurant did not have macaroni and cheese. The bread was dry and the prime rib was very thin. From the time we were seated until we finally received our check it was 2 hours. There was 5 of us. Really long waits for drinks and food and checks. Very bad experience for us and our friends.
Very good. Wineglass had some ones lipstick on it, but was exchanged for a clean glass. Food as usual, was excellent. Server did a good job. Music was a bit strange, like a mixture of old 80`s karoke music. Elevator music would be a good type while dinning.
Very great staff and service, just wish the food was a bit tastier, I’ve had better days with black angus, yesterday just was not a very good day
Birthday dinner using birthday deal.
Great service, food and atmosphere. We lost power due to the storm and greatly appreciated the warm atmosphere, hot food, and kind service on our 2nd night without power. Black Angus is our favorite restaurant in the area!!
Used a promotion on the website. Upgraded entree and sides. Everyone in our party was full, had to take the dessert home. Service was very attentive.
Excellent menu, good selections. Molasses bread is great.
Great food service could have been better and could have been a little cheaper
Great place to get a lot of good food at reasonable prices. Service is always excellent.
our server Rob was outstanding and food was great
Got a little bit noisy for me. A couple of loud tables. The food was great though.
I do forget the Servers's name, but he gave outstanding service and chatted briefly with each of us. All three of us really enjoyed the service that he gave to us. He was upbeat, looked like he enjoyed his job and treated us like a guest in his home.
The food was also outstanding and served quickly. It tasted very good and we all commented that we really enjoyed our visit. We have eaten at Black Angus for years. I can even remember eating here when there was a good size floor that was one of the hangout restaurants to come dancing. Now there are booths and tables in that area.
It is always is a pleasure to come and eat at Black Angus. I like that I am able to use the Open Table feature and have usually been able to get the time I wanted to dine. I have recommended your restaurant to many friends and relatives.
Sincerely and Thanks, +
We came for a birthday celebration. We had received an email with a coupon for a free steak dinner. We tried to order several entries but the waiter told us nothing on the menu that we wanted applied to the coupon. No such thing as a free meal. Our bread arrived dry and hard. My husbands ribs were tough and my shrimp was plain and average. We heard the people next door saying there was lipstick on their drinking glasses . We will not be returning to this restaurant.
Could have given me a free dessert for my Birthday
Seated close to our reservation time. Our waitress was very attentive throughout our dining experience. We ordered the Camp Fire Feast for 2. My 14oz. NY Strip Steak was like a $60 steak in a higher end restaurant. Unfortunately, my brother-in-law ordered the same steak and his was nowhere as good as mine. The chef did not trim off the fat around the steak -- very disappointed. My wife had the salmon which was cooked perfectly!
Dana was an Excellent Server! I was expecting slower service. And she was amazing! The food was great! The 4 of us had an amazing evening!!!
We went for the summer grill. It was great. Our server, AMY, was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Service and food was perfect! I would recommend management turn the music volume down as it was very hard to carry on a conversation but otherwise our experience was fantastic!
Great food and service! I haven’t been to Black Angus in years but very pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. Location not close to my home but will go back next time I’m in the area. 😊
The food was great and service was excellent. Always great options and a regular favorite of ours. The on-line coupon offers are fantastic - great value for the amount of food you get and the price. They celebrate birthdays too, with the fantastic cowboy cookie and ice cream!
