We attended to celebrate our anniversary and, as usual, had a wonderful meal. We had received an email offering-buy 1 and get one free. We both had the prime rib which was perfectly cooked-rare with baked potato and asparagus and ample serving allowing us to bring the leftover home for a second delicious meal.. The asparagus was not the best so would not recommend it as a side. Our server Sophia was wonderful. Very attentive. The martinis preceding the meal were excellent-very generous. We go the Black Angus in Escondido frequently and have never been disappointed.

Great variety of steaks and side dishes. Overall food was delicious. Busy when we arrived so the service was slow. Although our waiter Matt was delightful and very helpful.

The swordfish was cooked just right. The crab spinach dip was a little bland. I'm used to Blue Crabs, the West Coast Dungeness Crabs lack flavor. Overall it was a good experience with a great San Diego Bay waterfront view.

This goes down as one of THE worst worst experiences I have ever had, and would not recommend and doubt we will ever go back, this was a total rip off, total, we arrived, showed the waitress the coupon agreed to honor it, drinks which was basics took about half an hour to come, salad came, came wrong, food came also came wrong then when it came to pay you guessed it the bill was wrong, the manager was rude, nasty and terrible and she refused to honor the coupon, while looking at the bill after the wrong food was charged it was wrong she adjusted then noticed the bill was wrong again, by thenfor $2.50, both my wife were just exhausted I said lets go I am tired not worth the fight, lets get the hell out of the hell hole and next tiem go to a place where the food is better quality and they honor the coupons, as we were going they could see we were upset and tried to bribe us with a coupon ha ha wonder if they would "honor" that or find an excuse why not to honor it. The bottom line is the restaurant was empty and don't see it being there much longer

Fast friendly service. The filet was tender and delicious. The shrimp had good flavor and good portion size. Salads were cold and fresh. Unfortunately, they were out of green beans, however the augrautin potatoes tasted great were cheesy and buttery. The carrot cake was from Cheesecake, however smaller in size than what is served at Cheesecake.
