We had a great meal with excellent service. Our waitress—whose name I believe was Clarissa—was very attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. We chose the "Dinner for Two" option, and it was served to our table almost immediately. Kudos to the staff for their efficiency and hospitality. Great job, El Cajon Black Angus!

They need to up grade the furniture. The cushions are torn every where. We got our sides in an unorthodox way. My partner got all his sides way before his entree.

After having a not so great dinner last Thanksgiving we decided to try once again. We had to wait for a bit longer than we wanted for our server. My husband gave his grilled salmon just a so-so rating and although my prime rib was plentiful it had little flavor and seemed a bit tough (med.rare). The asparagus was tasty and our salads were good. Probably be a while before we go there again. Our server was very congenial, however.

We went for an early Father's day dinner. Had a great time . The food was good. We'll go back for another time or another event.

Overall, a very good experience. Ceaser salad was very good but too many croutons. Cold salad fork was nice touch. Drinks were fine.Onion rings delicious. Service was a bit too fast at 5 PM. I guess they had everything ready to go so they could gat a good turnover, which brings our only complaint. We both ordered prime rib medium rare. It as served very quickly, but really was too rare, not terribly, but the complaint is: Both cuts were extremely dry on top. My guess: they prepped the cuts to be ready to serve about an hour before serving and left them under a heat lamp to keep warm, but that dried them out. It was a decent cut and we compensated by pouring the included beef broth to moisten it, but the presentation was kinda unappetizing. Carrot cake was good, but here's a suggestion: BRING BACK THAT WONDERFUL FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE!!! IT'S TO DIE FOR!!!

Quiet restaurant. Good service and excellent food. The only disappointing thing was that the boots had torn upholstery.

"Campfire Feast Meals for Two" choose a Starter to share (choose from 11); each choose an Entree (10 to choose from); each choose 2 Sidekicks (4 total) (12 to choose from); and then share a Dessert (6 to choose from). all Quality. Filet Mignon is melt-in-your mouth delicious. Sidekicks offering is huge and every item is delicious. there isn't a so-so item on this menu. can't recommend it enough.
