Waitress was excellent, always on point, constant visits advising of food status and offering refills.
The furniture in the dining area is too old and requires innovation.

Paid over $200 dollars for a party of six. For the quality of food we received it was highway robbery. Steaks not cooked as ordered and tough. Chicken overcooked. Broccoli was bland and undercooked. For it being Mothers Day and hardly anyone being there I would fire whoever was cooking that day. I will never again eat at Black Angus and will inform everyone I run into how bad the food is and how much worse you will feel once the check arrives. This place is so bad it doesn't even deserve the G in its name.

My 16oz. rib eye steak was full of fat and gristle but cooked very just like I ordered.
My wife's prime rib was a little on the pink side when she ordered well done.

I love Black Angus and think the food is great. I would have preferred broiled lobster over steamed and real butter for the lobster and broccoli, versus the liquid substance that tasted like plain cooking oil. I’ve had melted butter there years ago and it tasted much different.

We took my wife out for Early’s Mother’s Day.
We used the campfire feast coupon from an email.
We made a reservation, they took us right in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and inviting. Our waiter, Mike, was outstanding. He made us feel comfortable, his knowledge of the menu was perfect, his timing and sequencing of the meal was just right. And the The meal was delicious. My wife was happy, Black Angus helped us to make her feel like she was important and special. - Thx

Since I ordered filet mignon I expected it to be very tender. But it kept my knife pretty busy.
Atmosphere not as intimate as the now defunct location on Friars Rd . Bright lights beamed down on our central table. Recommend requesting a banquette along wall for more intimate setting. Server Monica was cheerful and informed and served us well. My companion loved his NY Strip and we both were happy with the shrimp cocktail, our veggie side dishes , and the delicious flourless chocolate cake.

This is a place that's supposed specialize in steak. My Prime Rib steak was overcooked and tough when I ordered it to be medium. My husband likes his steak rare and was medium cooked. However their Potato soup was excellent. Maybe the chef was off his game a little that night, so I will go back again soon.

A week before that we went to Peohe's in Coronado it was not good. Black Angus did a fantastic job on the ribeye and everything else we eat. I've been to that black Angus for years that same one and it's Pleasant to see people you've seen for years working there which will tell you it's a good place to work and the way the tables are it's really really quiet also.

It was our first time at this location. Overall, good experience. The appetizer came out fast, food was great, steaks cooked perfectly! We've been to places where our medium rare, isn't medium rare. I liked the social distancing and the safety measures put in place at the restaurant. Monika was wonderful, she made sure we had everything we needed. My daughter loved the giant chocolate chip cookie, it was a fun little birthday celebration for her. Thank you, Black Angus CV. We'll be back!

Black Angus has both excellent steaks, prime rib (multiple size portions), and other entree choices. Great specials also, many days. I would not do the 8 ounce prime rib, too small. Terrific wedge salad, enough to share. My only criticism both now and pre-pandemic, either waitstaff or kitchen does not do as well as most steakhouses in giving you time to complete your soup or salad before mouth-watering entree arrives.

Adam the manager is an amazing customer service made is us feel like home and josh the bartender I asked for a special drink and he made it delicious and my waitress was also amazing. Food is always delicious I always enjoy my dinner 😃♥️

The female waiter (don’t know her name) we had on Friday 4/9 seated down by the bar was fantastic. Very nice, considerate and brought what we asked for right away. The ideal waiter anyone would want to have. The food was good and mixed drinks. Perfect date night.
