Bistro Niko is a nod to Paris, right in the heart of Buckhead. The modern French fare is authentic & simple, while the affordably priced wine list, exciting cocktails and extensive craft beer list ensure that everyone finds something to suit their tastes. Grand ceilings, art from Paris and a patio that overlooks Peachtree make Bistro Niko at once a destination and a neighborhood restaurant.

French Onion Soup
gratinée au gruyère
brown butter, nonpareil capers, spinach, steamed potatoes
Maine Sea Scallops St. Jacques
asparagus, potato puree, sorrel white wine sauce
Food wasn’t great, service slow
Exceptional food, great service, planning to become a regular
Excellent scallops! We shared a beet salad which I don't think is anything special. I suggest a different starter but we both enjoyed the perfectly cooked scallops St. Jacques which comes with a small serving of mashed potatoes and asparagus.Six very large scallops were just right. Lovely Louis Jadot white wine. The dessert menu looked good but that would have been too much food for us.
Very disappointed. Long wait between wine delivery to table and order being placed. Was supposed to start with the cheese raclette but it was brought out after the salads. Raclette basically a flop of cheese with tiny mushrooms that looked like they came out of a can. Was supposed to be served with baguette toast but bread was in toasted. Hanger steak with pommes frites terrible as no steak flavor as so heavily marinaded only tasted the marinade. The accompanying sauce was not the traditional mayonnaise or even a good aioli- was greasy on top not appetizing to look at or eat. Beet salad and pork chop were ok but not wow. Several times food was brought to our table that we had not ordered and we had to say , no- that’s not ours; same thing occurred with other tables- staff appeared to have no idea who ordered what. Not what I would expect for a fine dining experience. Do not recommend
Excellent service and the food, as always, was superb. Nice birthday treat for one of our party.
The waiter serving us was great!
Amazing! Food, atmosphere, experience was incredible!
Beautiful night dining out on patio and wonderful meal, as always.
Beautiful evening on the patio. Great steak frites, champs and flourless desert. Also did I mention oysters?
We had brunch on the patio and overall had a good experience. The food was delicious. My only complaint is regarding the pet policy. I do understand that the patio dining is pet friendly. However a particular table had two small dogs that were barking off and in which was annoying. I wish management had addressed this. Also our server was a little forgetful, eg we had to ask several times for our cappuccino and silverware.
Would definitely co
E back but would likely choose indoor dining.
Bistro Niko is such a great restaurant ! The quality and price of the food is wonderful ! Service is impeccable too!
We have eaten at Bistro Niko numerous times over the past few years. The main room (with the bar) can be quite boisterous, but the room closer to the host stand is much more civilized. The food is always well prepared, and the service is usually quite good if not over-the-top. However, our server last night was below the standard. He ignored us for long stretches, failed to keep up with our wine service, and did not seem familiar with the menu (not to mention not pronouncing common French menu terms correctly). He also did not clear our table after dinner, leaving bread plates, crumbs, and a couple of capers on the table throughout dessert. The overall experience was below the standard we have come to expect from Bistro Niko; hopefully the issues will be corrected when we go back again.
Wonderful service from Management thru staff caring and accommodating! Food was wonderful will go back soon
Great as always
Went out for a girlfriends bday. All was excellent as expected.
One of the best meals I've had anywhere. We had trout and seabass. Both were outstanding.
We dined at Niko’s on a week night .Our service was excellent, and our food was good , but not outstanding. I wouldn’t make an effort to go back , but would recommend the other restaurants owned by Buckhead Life which are outstanding!
Great! Thank you!
This was our second visit to Bistro Niko this year. Unfortunately, this visit was more stressful than it needed to be or should have been. As a result, this impacted our rating for this visit. What should have been 4-5 stars based on our last visit became 3-4 starts on this one.
I made a 5 p.m. reservation on a Sunday in order to make a 7 p.m. show at the Fox Theatre. We arrived and checked in with the hostess station at 5 p.m. sharp and we were seated immediately in a separate room away from the main dining room. After sitting for 5 minutes with no server or manager in sight, I went up to the hostess station to make sure our server knew we had been seated and that we were on a tight timetable this evening. As 5:15 approached and no sign of anyone, my wife made eye contact with the hostess and presumable one of the managers and at that time we were greeted and service began. Not a great start to the evening.
Service from there on out was more to our expectation for a fine dining establishment. The food was delicious just as it was on our first visit. The portions were a little on the light side especially considering the price for each entree'. But, overall we were very happy with our meal. We were able to wrap up dinner and arrive at the Fox with 10 minutes to spare.
the service was excellent and helpful, the food was delcious
We will be back
We celebrated my daughter's birthday with a Jazzy Brunch. Absolutely LOVED it. The music was great, the cocktails were fun, the food was delicious, and we even saw Kelly Loeffler enjoying brunch.
We celebrated two friends 60th birthdays. We had a wonderful time. Billy was an attentive, witty server. The food was delightful. I dream about the Gougeres!
Absolutely amazing dining experience at Bistro Niko. We were there for brunch but will be returning for dinner ASAP! Couldn’t have been a more pleasant atmosphere and would recommend to anyone!
The food and service were great. It was a little cold in the dining area though.
The trout is our go -to dish, it was excellent as always. The drinks were wonderful with a lot of "directions" to the bartender. The service was wonderful.
food is always great, service is top notch, one of our favorite spots for sure
Bistro Niko is always a top notch experience. One of my favorite restaurants.
Food was not good! Onion soup was weak and tasteless. Bloody Mary was one of the sorriest I have had—no booze and little mix…price was crazy.
The pasta tasted like toilet water.
Our server Nicolas was awesome! Dessert amazing
Food was superb! Had a halibut special, a pork special, skatewing and a burger at our table. Plus oysters to start. Nice cocktails and wines too! Service excellent too. A tad noisy but it was a busy Saturday night in Atlanta. Will make this a regular must do in Atlanta!
One of our favorite places in Atlanta. Food and service are always top notch.
Our anniversary dinner was excellent! Tuna tartare, french onion soup, skate wing entree and sea bass entree all really good. They even surprised us with an icecream treat for our special occasion. A lot of delicious food. Also extremely high praise on the service. We had a great evening there!
Amazing and consistent!! Max was a great waiter!
EVERY dish was superb; and received possibly the best service ever. EVER. Katie you rock!
Lovely evening in Atlanta to sit outside and enjoyed a $25 off coupon. thanks bistro Niko!
