L'Hermitage es un clásico bistro francés que está ubicado en la zona histórica de Occoquan Waterfront. El experimentado empresario de restaurantes de Washington D.C. Youssef Eagle Essakl (propietario del 21 Federal con el chef Bob Kinkhead y antiguo copropietario de Marcel's DC y de restaurantes en el Watergate Hotel) ha transformado el edificio y su enclave en el centro histórico de Occoquan en su propia visión de un romántico bistro rural francés. Unfortunately it’s a fact that people cannot work 7 days a week all year long. Food was great but our favorite waiter was not working. In his stead was a young woman. She did not tell us about any of the specials and we actually only saw her one time during our meal and when she brought the check. Another waiter seemed to step in and cover a lot of her duties. It’s possible that they were short and she came from the back just to help but she did not seem to be trained to the level that the others are. Overall this is an incredible restaurant with outstanding food.

A romantic and exquisite French restaurant. The Cesar salad and Salad Verte were both delicious and large servings. The trout was perfectly cooked and delectable as was the pork chop entree. By far, the best restaurant in NOVA!

Always a great experience. From the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff to the quality of the food and its presentation I can’t recommend Bistro L’Hermitage more highly.

Hermitage never disappoints! The service is attentive without being intrusive; the food is exceptionally prepared for each individual's needs; and the ambience is always beautiful.

The food was delicious. The service impeccable. My one and only complaint is the tables are so close together that you can barely get through or have a private conversation. To leave our table, I couldn’t pull out my chair or I would have hit the person behind me. Had to scoot out sideways. Parking lot is also very small and tight.

This was a magnificent meal. It’s always great, but this meal was exceptional. It was a prix fixe meal for Easter. The choices were outstanding and plentiful. Everything we got was prepared beautifully. Service was wonderful as always. It was a great way to spend the holiday dinner. We will do this again; no question. Many thanks for a delicious meal!
