   This restaurant had been highly recommended as the best Italian food in the area. We were very disappointed. First, seated in a boot next to the kitchen- very noisy and distracting. Air conditioning vent blowing straight down on us and the weather was was not hot. Food was cold and sub par. Seemed like canned sauce on the pasta and the veal parmesan. Make more flavorful food at home. Our server was unimpressive - distracted and rushed us. He did not check back on the food or our experience.

   The food was delicious and the service excellent, however the table was next to the highway and conversation was very difficult. I have had other lunch meetings that were on the east side of the patio and were able to converse easily but this table was extremely bad.

   Never had a bad meal, bad experience, or bad service at this incredible restaurant. Best outdoor restaurant around. This visit included the always spectacular octopus salad and enormous regular salad (which should be shared). Veal Parmesan, and a special dish of short rib ravioli was over the top fabulous. Too bad it’s not on the everyday menu. Lots of great restaurants in the area for sure … make sure you visit this one.

   Beautiful venue, the perfect atmosphere for Napa Valley. Extensive wine list, I found my perfect red wine. The carpaccio was the best I have ever had.

   Bistro Don Giovanni is our favorite restaurant in Napa. The continues to be consistent and we love to sit outdoors or in the main donning hall. The side patio can be warm on hot days and it was one of those days today. The food though was excellent.

    The food and service were outstanding. We have loved this delightful spot since it opened. It’s charming atmosphere and welcoming, chill vibe is worth it’s weight in gold. We love Giovanni and believe that it just keeps getting better. Allison
