Bistro 72 At Hotel Indigo East End
Great service mediocre food
Service was excellent. It was a Thursday evening and they had a pretty good guitar/singer entertaining. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
Everything was excellent! The food and service were great!
We attended New Years Eve! the food was great, better then we expected. The service was great.
The bar and the band playing was really nice. Made a special NYE! Will be back!
Awesome filet mignon . great jazz band for new years eve. quite enjoyable.
As always the food is great. Service was impeccable
Excellent Christmas Dinner. French Onion Soup and beef Wellington was amazing! Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend
Food was eh
Food preparation was wonderful and delicious-- portions large to excessive! Recommend seating in the bar dining room area and try to get a banquet.
We ended up with Bella as our server and she was wonderful. The chef was very attentive and came out to check on both our salads and our entrees. The food was very good. The ambiance is good. It is a restaurant at a hotel.
Consistently first rate locally sourced fare. If it were not for the omnipresent television screens, it would be a lovely dining space as well.
We had a great dinner at Bistro 72 after a long day of outlet shopping at the Tanger Outlets next door. The service was really attentive and the food was yummy. The chicken tacos were the best thing we ate. It was a little noisy when we were there because there was a pretty busy happy hour followed by some live country music.
We had our business Holiday dinner there December 2018 and the food was excellent, there was a very nice atmosphere, you could hear yourself talk and the staff was very good!
Amazing!!! I would definitely recommend. This is now my new favorite place
Food was excellent. Large portions
Service was amazing
Decent food. Horrible inattentive service
I had made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. I received an email confirming those reservations immediately. The night prior to Thanksgiving I received a second confirmation via phone.
I was impressed with so many things. When I walked in, the place was clean and attractive, and the staff was helpful. I was served a 4-course meal, and each course was unusually delicious. Bistro 72 must employ someone very special to select the variety of options for Thanksgiving dinner. I was delighted not only with the variety, but the quality of the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. In addition, the waitresses were charming, prompt but not rushing, and friendly but not too talkative. Out of 5 stars, I would give it a 10.
My family and I went to Bistro 72 today for breakfast. As we got there a bit after the time for breakfast, we were disappointed we wouldn't be able to order from the breakfast menu. The manager and our server, Mary, couldn't have been more accommodating. We were able to order from the breakfast menu and were thrilled with the service and food. We will definitely visit again when we make plans to visit the east end. If you're going out to the wineries or farms, this is a great place to eat to start the day. Highly recommend.
We ate there last year during Restaurant Week and had a delicious, quiet meal. This year we were in the smaller room with 2 very loud tables on either side of us. The service wasn't good because there were only 2 servers for the entire room. Too many tables for only 2 people. Dinner took over 2 hours. I was very disappointed.
Went here for LIRW. Had a solid meal with good service.
Extremely accommodating service fast table service great fresh food
Excellent food and good wine selection - local and global. And outstanding music by Robert Bruey. Made for a great setting.
What a great find! We live in Wading River and have only come to Bistro 72 for lunch 2 times. This was our first time having dinner here. It was fantastic! There were 4 of us and each of us felt that our dish was wonderful! It's easy to find, the prices are moderate, and the ambiance is quite nice. It's definitely worth a try... I don't think you will be disappointed!
Nothing but good things to say about this place. The good was excellent and the service was nice! I recommend it
Service and portions were not consistent from the last time be dined, but we like the place. There was a big party going on so that may have been a reason why the food wasn't as expected.
Alyssa was very professional.
Never had a bad meal here. We’ll be back again
This time we went on a weekend which was more crowded because of a wedding but we were still seated on time and food is always superb
The food and service were spectacular. We waited too long to find this diamond in Riverhead. We look forward to our return.
Food was excellent! I will definitely go back and eat here again.
Our first experience started a little rough....
The seating was very small for my adult party of 9, and the music & other parties were extremely loud.
We did not have water at the table, and had to ask for bread to be brought as well.
However...the food was phenomenal & the portions were huge! Our server was lovely & worked very hard to please us. I will go back, but maybe on a weeknight when it's bound to be less noisy/busy.
We have been to the Bistro 72 many times. Normally I would rave about the food/chef. But unfortunately the last two times we've been there the food has not been that good. I had salmon recently and felt sick immediately after eating. This time I ordered the ribeye and only ate half of it because it was so chewy.
I will probably give this restaurant one more try before I completely take it off my list. Mostly because our waitress was wonderful. And the live music and happy hour are pretty good.
Hopefully they improve the quality of the food to match their prices.
Farm to table means something
First time at Bistro 72. We were very surprised at the service and food. Very nice menu with a nice variety. Friendly and attentive staff. Live music completes the picture. We will be going back.
Everything was good with the exception of the lobster roll. I did not like it at all.
Excellent food, but extremely long wait times to get checked on and to refill water, get check, etc. I was accidentally “glutened” despite specifically asking about an item on the “gluten free possible” menu. She was apologetic, and mistakes happen, but it’s still unfortunate.
We have stayed at Hotel Indigo a number of times and always eat at Bistro 72. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all wonderful experiences. The food and service is great. We always enjoy eating here.
Service was good but understaffed
Live music was enjoyable but too loud
Salads were all good
Chix seafood all good but seafood over cooked
Prices are typical hotel and LI too high but then you know that.
Shrimp Tacos!! Best I’ve ever had. Great ambiance!
The food is consistently very good, and the service is improving. When weather allows, dining outside by the pool is preferable. Indoor dining is in two rooms. The one adjacent to the bar is dominated by television screens that get in the way of undistracted dining
