   Food was excellent. It took a while for the server to get to us and once he left he didn't return for a while, but I think he just had too many tables. Overall experience was excellent.

   We thoroughly enjoyed dinin outside just before sunset. Seeking a lighter tapas style the salad was terrific and the lobster quesadilla is delicious. The peanut butter pie is decadent.

    Wonderful view of the sunset and the sailboats setting out and returning from their sunset cruises from our outdoor seating on a lovely evening! The gaspacho was delicious and the grouper didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend!

    If you book online you won’t get an outside table You need to book several days ahead if you want outside table for sunset Florida lobster was delicious And so was the mudpie

I am happy to hear you enjoyed the lobster and the Mississippi Mud Pie, two of our favorites. We do always try to accommodate seating preferences for the patio area, unfortunately sometimes it does get very crowded. Please note, we do have our Sunset Celebration and our Sunset Deck that are outside and first come first serve seating. Reservations are always recommended, especially during the busy season.     All the dishes we ordered were delicious from starters to dessert. I highly recommend the crab cakes, lobster Mac and Cheese, seared tuna, caesar salad with grilled shrimp, and French onion soup. The key lime pie was the best I've tasted in Key West in my 20 years coming to visit. Service was friendly and attentive. The location facing the sunset on the water on the pier was gorgeous.

    Ordered lobster Benedict. Eggs Benedict was brought to the table. 2 minutes later, two small plates with lobster came. I called attention to the waiter that we ordered lobster Benedict. Not eggs Benedict with lobster on the side. Was told the kitchen didn’t understand. Sad commentary.

    Excellent meal along the most visited area at sunset in Key West. Adjacent to sunset pier makes it an awesome place to relax and have a great drink with excellent food from a great menu.

    The best thing to say about this place is it is truly a beautiful view. Based on my experience, the view is the best thing going for it. Our server was rude, belittling, and supremely unhelpful. The food was bland but cooked fine. My mahi lacked any flavor, as did my cocktail. But the view was great!

    Lovely setting with awesome food. Service felt like he was rushing us but food was prompt and delicious. Crab cakes appetizer and Mahi Were some of my favorite from this trip and the sunset views can’t be beat!

    We enjoyed our dinner. Good food and the service was great. Plan to be there after the sunset ceremony at Mallory Square because your view will be blocked by the crowds. Watch the sunset with everyone else and then go for dinner.

    We love coming to Bistro 245. This time we were a little underwhelmed. First of all, you were out of the gazpacho which I always look forward to. I had the onion soup instead and it was good but not as good as the gazpacho. Secondly, my wife and I order the encrusted grouper over the lobster hash but this time we were disappointed. I can’t tell you why, we were just not as impressed. My wife’s lobster hash was loaded with lobster but mine barely had any.

    We sat outside. Very nice but furthest tables out were quite breezy. Food was very nice but menu was a bit limited.

    Amazing! my food took 2-3 min longer then the rest of the table so the waiter bought me a slice of key lime pie to say sorry! SO good, amazing food! amazing service and he did not need to do that but so happy he did

    What an amazing place. Menu isn’t large but it has an amazing array of items. Two of us had the Lobster & Fettuccine Alfredo and we were not disappointed it had as much seafood as it did pasta. We also shared the Garlic Flatbread as an appetizer Yum! My husband had the NY Strip it was not disappointing (I had a couple of bites) and our other had the Yellowtail Snapper and said it was superb. Would definitely visit again on next trip

    Nice setting. Good tasting food. Wife has a medical intolerance for wheat. Ordered GF choice, was very sick that night. Tried to give it another try for Valentines Day ( had made that reservation before our Feb 7th dinner) after multiple calls and a hang-up was informed after a condescending “I-Yei-Yeia” from the same person that put us on permahold and hung up on us earlier- that the only non wheat/soy choices for lunch were salads-Sorry to have to ask health/menu questions but we have no choice- especially after being sick and exposed. By the way, her meal of steak and lobster was marked as GF. Guessing it was the sauce put on the steak. She has no issue with cross contamination.

    Food was great. The view would have been great as it is water front but something to keep in mind if you’re there at sunset hundreds of people will be standing in front of you blocking the view of the sunset!
