Great food and service and the view cannot be beaten!!
Delicious. Beautiful views
This place is fantastic!! The view of the water and people watching complemented our meal. My shrimp arugula salad was wonderful and my partner's ceasar salad with chicken was fresh and crisp.
Highly recommended, we can't wait to go back. Drinks were yummy.
Food was very disappointing.
Had lunch there the day before. The lunch menu was great. Dinner menu disappointing. Service and staff excellent. Great view of sunset.
Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere on the water!!
Baris is always on top of everything, great atmosphere, Rebecca is always making sure people having a great time there. Hats off the food and the service
The food was very good; however, we had absolutely horrendous service. We did not see our server for the first 30 minutes of sitting down. The “quiet” booth that the hostess suggested was tucked in the back of the restaurant and we felt forgotten about. It took us getting up to note our lack of service to the hostess for us to get noticed. If you’re looking for good food, this is a good spot. But if you’re looking for good service, I suggest you look elsewhere.
We enjoyed the sunset as we sat down. An appetizer of crab cakes was delicious- the cakes were definitely mostly crab. Grouper was a special for the day and was prepared beautifully, as was a yellow snapper. The only drawback, which I realize the restaurant can do nothing about, was that people smoking stood and/or walked nearby and the smell of cigarette smoke often was about.
Lunch outside on the patio was fabulous! The lobster Mac and cheese was the best! Fun watching people walk by and the cruise ship out front. Definitely will be back!
Our overall experience was very nice. We were there for my husbands birthday dinner. The food was very good, and prepared as requested. When we got our bill, my husband noticed that his beverage choice of bourbon on the rocks had an additional charge of $2.00 for the "on the rocks". We paid xtra for ice in his drink.... We had been drinking water with ice throughout our entire meal. This was certainly an unnecessary charge. Left us a little sour...
Key Lime Coolada was amazing!
Food was delicious and fast even though they were extremely busy. I would definitely come back here!
As always the Sunday brunch was phenomenal!!!
Celebrated our wedding anniversary. Food was good but the loud crowd inside the private room was disturbing. And did not allow for better seating options
So loud and food was aversge
Awesome location and wonderful food. Prices are high yet so is everything in Key West.
Unexpectedly delish in a hotel restaurant. View is great right at the sunset celebration
Very nice dining experience. We had the snapper, scallop appetizer, wine and key lime pie. All was delicious as well as great service with a nice view of sunset. Would return in the future!
Took an hour to receive food after ordering. It arrived cold. No apology or recognition of the problem. Won’t be back.
1st visit was great! This time, there was a foul odor in the outside dining area. The shrimp and lobster were tough, pasta starchy and garlic sauce thick. Server was flip.
The food was fantastic in taste, quality and presentation. Our server was pleasant, offered an appetizer suggestion and paced the evening out well. Definitely a place we will return.
Best brunch in town.
Very lovely space and tasty food
The ambiance is amazing and the food is just as good. The service was so so this time but the food was right on time!!
It was a easy place to grab dinner in a tourist location and turned out better than anticipated.
We decided to dine here on a whim after a day in Key West. We made a reservation for 7:30 but arrived early and they were very accommodating! We were seated straight away. We ordered a few drinks which came promptly and were delicious! My daughter and husband shared 2 entrees, the steak au poive and the pesto chicken pasta. Both were generous portions and delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked! I had the appetizer scallops which were outstanding! We are so glad we made the decision to select Bistro 245 to dine at...lovely views and off the main area so it is quiet and the food is excellent.
The wait staff was understaffed. Food flavor was poor and expensive. Their were several tables that asked for their bill and didn’t seem to have prompt service. Parking was also a problem
Food was excellent
Waiter was a bit short and dismissive. Dropped bottle of wine and glasses at table then left....
Very hot no fan
We booked this restaurant to watch the sunset as it boasts but the restaurant does not sit next to ocean's edge and we ended up eating a drab, over priced meal while looking at the backside of tourists, blocking the sunset.
The seafood cocktail was a sad lobster tail cut in half longways with a dirty fin, four small pieces of crab in a plastic dish with smashed sprouts as a garnish under the cut, oh and two shrimp. Very lame. I don't think good seafood should be cheap but I'm expecting cleanliness and freshness. The soup was decent. Drinks were not impressive, my rum runner tasted like medicine. The staff was very kind and attentive but that doesn't make up for the fact that the food was disappointing.
This is our second trip to Key West and our first time at Bistro 245. What a great place! The buffet was fantastic and when they say bottomless mimosas, they mean it! Our waiter kept refilling my glass, I almost thought I would never get to the bottom! This will be a place to revisit every time we come down.
We were there for 25 minutes and only got water. A server never came to our table. The hostess wasn’t interested in seating us and we got up and left and no one even said a word to us.
Beautiful harbor front dining on the patio. Everything you'd expect from a Margaritaville restaurant. Great spot for sunset dining. The Gazpacho was delicious, I highly recommend, the grouper was light and delicious. The margarita was a fresh one (no mix!) with just tequila, agave, lime juice. Delicious.
Located in the Margaritaville complex, this casual, waterfront cafe is located directly in front of where the cruise ships dock. We went for a late breakfast/early lunch. The service was a bit off, but the food was good and the mimosas were yummy.
The experience was delightful. It was Valentine's Day and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and special. The location is great--right on the water. The food was very flavorful. Recommended for anyone wanting a true Key West experience.
Fantastic food and service. What a wonderful place to go to watch a sunset while having the most delicious food and rinks. This is a must-experience restaurant.
We had the perfect dinner at Bistro 245. The food, the service, the ambiance and the sunset! Couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience. We’ll be back!
GREAT FOOD, it's TOO BAD the service was horrendous. We came for lunch reservations and the experience took close to two hours. I had to go up to the bartender to ask for glass of waters, which you think would be provided at an nice establishment such as that. (I asked the server for water, twice, but they never came.) When we needed our paid for beverages refilled, I again had to go to the bartender. He sent our server over to us. I don't know where the woman (our server) was going. The crazy thing was we had a reservation, we weren't just some pop in table at an odd hour. I saw other tables servers, but ours kept disappearing; I assumed she must have been slammed at inside tables, since we ate outside, but when my husband went into the restaurant, he said NO ONE was sitting inside. When we first arrived it was a bit full, nothing crazy, but the service never improved, even when all the tables cleared out and there might have been 6 tables remaining. The outside seating is nice and you have views of the water, but you also have huge cruise ships to the right and left of the eating area (on our given day at lunch hour). The food was great, it's a shame the service was so poor. I probably would not recommend stopping there for food or drinks, unless you sit at the bar (bartender seemed to be on point). There are a ton of delicious places to eat in Key West, unless you have a lot of time to waste and like getting your own water and drinks, plan to stop elsewhere. (Bistro 245 - I would definitely suggest you have a talk with whoever was our server, you will kill the business if that keeps up.)
Outdoor table with good view of the water. Waiter was very nice, attentive and prompt. Recommend the Truffle Crusted Grouper and the Expresso Creme Brûlée. Pre dinner bread was delicious. Good wine list.
