The lobster quesadillas were outstanding.
Ordered an appetizer for my wife that turned put to be the size of a Pizza. She was almost full
so I asked the Server to give her a 1/2 size Caesar Salad instead of the main course full size.
He refused. B#%l@*. Said it was already ordered. How pathetic!
We were very, very disappointed in this restaurant given its ratings. We expected much more, much higher quality, than we were served. This is the first negative restaurant review I’ve over written.
Food was great and Stefan was fabulous! Definitely will eat there again.
We were a party of 4 we got gratuity rather than we tipped them upset me I tip way more than when they do that & we waited 30 min before I had to go ask if our server was coming to see us. When he arrived he said he didn’t know we were seated. Breakfast was good service was good 2 days prior and I gave a much larger tip same amount of people too.
Mashed potatoes served with cowboy steak special were INSTANT. Waiter and manager comped is 2 desserts. Other than that we were very satisfied overall.
We were disappointed because we thought we had a table reserved outside, but there wasn’t one available. That was one of the main reasons we chose this restaurant.
Sunday brunch is always great in total. Great buffet selections from seafood to french toast, plus carving and omelette stations. Weekly selections change somewhat, but always good. Service and ambiance is top notch.
Our waiter was so on top the mimosa refills I had to hide my glass. A little pricier than iHop, but worth it.
This is an amazing brunch buffet! It was 44 dollars (plus tax and gratuity already added). Bottomless mimosas, which actually means I never got to the bottom before it was refilled. The food was delicious and fresh. Make a reservation. We did not get a table when we walked up last year, so I made sure we had one this year. Sit outside next to the marina and enjoy the breeze!
Great location watching the sunset overlooking Mallory Square! Food and service were wonderful!
Outside sitting. View of cruises. Good spot for breakfast, not loud.
No gluten free options, which is pretty rare. Situated right where cruise ships disembark so way overpriced to take advantage of cruise ship patrons. Food was good though and juices fresh.
A nice spot to be at sunset. Food excellent, especially the grouper.
We reserved this restaurant while vacationing in the Keys for Christmas. We wanted a place that would be special and expected it since it was Christmas Evening. We got there right at our reservation time but yet was told they had to clean the table. The restaurant was obviously understaffed Bc the staff was all running around and we had to wait almost 10 minutes before a server came to the table. After we finally ordered and after another 15 minutes, bread was brought after we had to ask. The food was mediocre considering how much we paid. It was only the 2 of us, with an overpriced bottle of wine and our bill was over $115 with no dessert. I wouldn’t have minded this if the food and the service were good. The ambiance of the place was mediocre for being a holiday.
I would never return or recommend
The Service was terrible. Our waiter never checked on us, once our meal was served. We were done, and it took him 15 minutes to come by, so we could ask for our check. The food was real good.
The atmosphere is pleasant and service was really pretty good. Food is better than average for the keys, if not the best. Mac and cheese was highly recommended. I personally did not enjoy, nor did i find the crab cakes all that great. They were slightly over cooked. We enjoyed our meal and would return. I was put off only by our seating, but a very small inconvenience.
We went on Christmas Eve with our teenage kids and had a great meal and drinks! Ceasar salad one of the best we’ve had! Service was excellent, they were very attentive. So. Ice to watch the sunset and all the activity on the pier and the cruise ship setting sail. We cancelled one of our reservations for later in the week and are going back!
Outside on a gorgeous sunny 75 day for a late lunch with friends. Lovely. Not noisy.... unless you count the horn of the cruise ship. Caribbean seafood salad- fresh & tasty with broiled pineapple slices. Grouper sandwich- generous portion. Turkey Club - just average. Loved the strawberry, basil & vodka smash drinks!
Best brunch on the island!
The absolute best Sunday Brunch Buffet in Key West, As locals we go regularly and are never ever disappointed. The bottomless Mimosas are wonderful and the food is always plentiful and well cooked.
We thoroughly recommend this Brunch
Great view of the shops each day. If sitting outside, expect that the service will be good, but a little slow as they have to balance inside and outside tables. Good food
We really enjoyed our dinner at Bistro245. The food was fantastic (ordered an appetizer and entree and both were delicious) and the atmosphere was perfect for our special occasion. The restaurant is waterfront in Key West, which is nice considering that is surprisingly somewhat of a rarity. The restaurant was slower than I expected it to be on a Friday night (a few tables), but that meant our service was good. Our server also accommodated a slice of Key Lime Pie for my fiancées birthday. We would visit Bistro245 again!
Was not that impressed as I was last time last year when we were there.
Excellent food & service in a waterfront setting. Dining inside or outside options. Perfect for special occasions. Validated parking charges for first 2 hours.
Brunch was great as always! Service was fabulous, food was amazing, and we had a great time!
If you want a great brunch, this is the place to go! Wow!
Had dinner at Bistro 245 on thanksgiving night. The snapper and steak were phenomenal.
We went there for Thanksgiving dinner and it was excellent. They had a traditional dish option that my husband couldn't even finish because they gave him so much. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly.
Brunch is amazing.
We ate there for a special occasion it was ruined. The meal was tuff and burnt tasting. The waitress said it had been dead that night so they let staff off for the night and then got slammed. I appreciate her honesty but it was $150. Meal and no offer of discount was made. It was not a great way to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday
The 3 overall stars which I am rating, I feel is generous.
By the sunset & Harbor, but cannot see the sunset from your seat due to the crowd viewing the cat performance & sunset.
The sister “sandwich & nacho” restaurant has better seating directly on the water.
Server was not knowledgeable about the wine menu. Water glass had to be replaced due to lipstick from previous user. Silverware from salads were replaced w/ silverware remaining on the table. Server was friendly but didn’t seem overly excited about being there.
Dinner was a Caesar salad which I had heard from 2 locals that was excellent, was actually average at best. I ordered the mixed grill, the Lobster & shrimp were very good. The grouper was burnt on one side & was placed towards the plate. Server did give us a slice of key lime pie for the burnt grouper.
The cost of the meal vs the overall quality, atmosphere, & overall experience did not match.
We may have been one of 3-8 total tables w/ the outside seating while dining. I asked the bartender who was the gentleman in the black shirt walking around and they said the F&B Manager. He never came to our table to check on our meal/experience.
Excellent food and service.
Best Sunday brunch ever with a superb focus on seafood, both raw and cooked, and a darn good gumbo. Dessert offering was perfect with my favorite Cream Brulee and fresh berries. Presentation, taste, and quality were outstanding. Bottomless mimosa just made it that much better and we had the best service provided by our waiter Michael from NY. Always a must stop on our annual visit to KW.
Great location and all else
We made our choice based on location and reviews. The location did not disappoint. We planned to sit outside but a serious storm was in the area and they moved us in by a window. As they had to move everyone in the noise level was high. Our disappointment was the food. We shared a salad which was ok. My steak au poivre was very tasty. The portion was quite large. Unfortunately my daughters pasta and seafood was tasteless. Doubt we will return
Food was excellent—way better than we expected. The lobster Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had. And the key lime koolada frozen drink was awesome! Mixed Grill has great flavor. Good service. Great view, except close to sunset, too many people are standing by the water and blocking your view. Sit on the upper deck lounge to view the sunset.
As always food, service and scenary were fantastic.
Our waiter, Mike was fantastic. He told us he has been working there for several years and he was very good with recommendations. He recommended the yellowtail which was stuffed with crab and it was seriously one of the best meals I have ever had. We chose to eat outside for the view, although it is partially blocked by people watching the sunset. You also get noise by a few sunset performers who choose to perform on that end instead of Mallory Square. It was our first time at Bistro 245 and Mike told us that the upstairs and the waterfront seating is first come first serve and has a limited small plate menu; not the dinner menu like we had (just an fyi) as we inquired out of curiosity as the view is better from that seating. I highly recommend!!!
Best. Brunch. EVER!!! $44 gets you all the brunch you can brunch plus bottomless mimosas. It’s the best brunch on the island! Seafood, short rib, prime rib, gnocchi, omelets from scratch, sushi, crab claws, a wall of desserts, eggs Benedict...I could go on and on. Plus great service, our mimosa glasses were never empty. This is a not-to-be missed brunch!
