Don't miss our spectacular Sunday brunch buffet every Sunday from 10am to 2pm, reservations are recommended!
Killer view, atmosphere great
If your in key West to see to sun set
It a great place to eat and see it from
Bistro 245 is outstanding. We made a reservation for 6:45 so that we could be there for the sunset and it did not disappoint. We sat outside on the patio and while people did stand in front of us we could still see the sunset and could get up to take pictures. The food was amazing as well. The roasted Tuscan chicken was great! The roasted garlic mashed potatoes were the highlight of the meal. Before dinner they bring warm bread and two choices of butter to the table. The herb butter was so good. I was very impressed with the restaurant and I plan on coming back during our next vacation!
Can't say enough good things, from the drinks to the bread to the meals to the view not one thing less than perfect.
This spot is all about the view.....and the drinks.... and the crabcakes with avocado salsa! Great people watching, too!
Had a great meal and watched the sunset...
Great sunday brunch. The buffet held wide selection of great cuisine from the prime rib all the way to eggs benedict. The staff was friendly and accomodated our group of 7 with courtesy and professionalism
Their Sunday brunch is exceptional, especially if you like seafood.
Came here to watch the sunset in Key West. The food was outstanding, but not nearly worth the price considering the portion sizes. Go for the ambiance and the views, not the food.
Crab cakes were not well made. Too little crab, too much filler, and deep frying was almost burnt.
Gaspacho was very good
Cesar Salad was mediocre; dressing too bland
Delicious meal, fabulous server Govina, only disappointment was a cruise ship in our way of seeing sunset from our table!!! It was supposed to have left the dock at 5pm but left promptly after sun had set! We picked this restaurant for the SUNSET view advertised.
The location is great, we watched the sunset as we had an excellent meal.
Supurb in all regards
Always great food and service. Pretty views during sunset times. Relaxing area for drinks and conversation. this evening we ate the grouper special with lobster hash and the chicken pine nut cream pasta. Always a good choice. But even if the food was just average The service is always fantastic!
Excellent restaurant experience. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Bistro 265. Food and service were fantastic. The view is spectacular. A quiet and elegant, but casual, option when visiting Key West. Part of the Margaritaville Hotel, which is also an amazing place to stay. Will return to both.
Wonderful brunch with great service.
Mike H was fantastic! Very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Great experience. Beautiful location also. Great for sunset dining. We will definitely return:)
After ordering drinks and having them served we ordered an appetizer and were so turned off by the service we walked out BEFORE the appetizer even arrived!
I phoned the manager after we left not wanting to create a scene in the restaurant who gave me a sincere apology for the appalling service we received.
I cannot comment on the food as we did not hang around to eat.
I would be willing to give the restaurant another chance the next time we are in Key a West BUT only with a clear understanding when the reservation is made that unacceptable service will not be tolerated.
Great location and good food!
Easily the best and most varied Sunday Brunch in Key West. We had a great meal, out on the deck under a forest of umbrellas. In a location like theirs, they could get away with crappy food, but no... It was delicious.
Best brunch I have ever been to. I make it a point to go there whenever I’m In key west!!!
I start with the waiter who I am sure must hate what he does and it showed. Not rude but absolutely nothing to make us feel valued and welcome. The food took over an hour to arrive and the restaurant was not even 1/4 full. Lobster was way over cooked.
Once I received the bill I realized they have charged the two of us 18% service charge. I then realized why my waiter was so awful. I recommend that You DO NOT visit this plane.
Best place to have drinks and a great dinner while watching the sunset. Food and service were excellent. Bathrooms were immaculate.
We enjoyed two dinner evenings here and found that Mike H and Givani were both excellent servers and very skilled with guest services. The food was great and the surroundings were ideal. Absolutely worth dining here.
This is a great location. It is right on the docks and one can see the sunset and the night performances. Menu has a variety of dishes but nothing special. Service was good but the atmosphere was spectacular.
It’s a really good spot for sunset!
But the food is really not ok. The presentation of the yellow tail which is the famous one in there is bad.
Go there for sunset and enjoy some cocktails would be great!
Being a local, I know of many options for Sunday Brunch. We chose Bistro 245 because we've enjoyed past visits. However, this time, we arrived right at 10 am. While the selection was nice, the food was cold. Our server spent the majority of time catering to customers at the tables at outside dining. Twice we had to have other servers track her down for us; once for drink refills, and once for the bill. She did not get a penny more than the gratuity that was already added to our bill.
Great ambience. Great meal with friends.
Perfect place to watch sunset peacefully. Food was excellent.
Looking for a dinner place for 6 and Bistro 245 was available. It’s along the water and a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. Our waiter seemed a bit harried. Came over, sat us and disappeared. Came back for drink orders and disappeared again. Finally drinks came and we ordered. Had to ask for bread but so glad we did. Two baskets were filled with a warm assortment of bread and whipped butter.
We skipped appetizers since we moshed a bit at our villa. We all ordered fish - 2 had mahi-mahi, 2 had scallops and 2 had snapper. All I can say is they were well worth the wait. Everyone was completely thrilled with their choices. The fish was extremely fresh and plentiful. One word of caution - gratuities were included on the bill. Party of 6 so probably why. No problem with this except that we weren’t told but luckily we noticed before adding another tip.
Came here yesterday morning for breakfast. Outdoor seating area was beautiful. Our waitress was Jane. She was very nice and friendly, Gave great recommendations. I got the lobster Benedict and my husband got the blueberry pancakes. The lobster Benedict was incredible except each one of the Benedict’s only had a small piece of lobster. I sorta expected from the price that it would have more. It tasted incredible and I’d order it again (just praying for more lobster)! Also, I’d like to clarify that a few of the other reviewers mentioned bottomless mimosas, I don’t really think this is a thing. When we asked Jane about mimosas because we didn’t see them listed on the menu she said yes but mentioned nothing of bottomless. Also, we had 4 so you’d assume she would have said at some point if they had bottomless.
However, yes we’d definitely go back. Food was very good.
Eat here twice food was good but service was poor even had to ask another waiter to fill my water
Very nice venue, though a little breezy and cool the night we were there. Unfortunately, the portable heaters were not working. The gratis bread and 2 flavored butters was much enjoyed. My appetizer - the seafood cocktail - was a generous portion of lump crab, two shrimp (one of which had that "iodine" flavor wild shrimp often has), and lobster, with two sauces. My entree - the truffle crusted grouper with lobster hash and haricots verts was exceptional and a very generous portion of each component. Sorry to say, my husband's mixed seafood grill included an awful, mealy piece of lobster for which we received a credit, but he thoroughly enjoyed his starter, the salad with olives, feta cheese, etc. (can't recall its exact name). Our server, the lovely Givani, was warm and attentive.
Great view and great food.
We had the prime rib special and it was amazing along with everything else
Excellent restaurant at the dock. VERY excellent waitstaff. They even made sure our coffee was to our satisfaction. Key Lime pie is a must have!
The lobster Mac and cheese and the Mississippi mud pie were amazing! The view at sunset is spectacular, but the entrees were extremely average
The food was excellent as always, Five stars for that. Our server was great too. Now, drunk people who have been ongoing yelling across the outside restaurant was unacceptable. And a big minus is when you leave their own parking garage you find out the still charged us an additional $12 parking after spending $200 at the restaurant. There's 2 hour complimentary parking. We parked for 3.5 hours during our brunch. I think you should consider your guests to have free parking or at least don't try to make some extra $$ on that. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars. Leaves a bad taste when you leave...
Perfect location for a sunset dinner. We went again for lunch the next day.
We’ve visited Key West three times, and this was our second visit to Bistro 245. Our server, Mike, was very attentive and the food was delicious.
