Bishop's Post Restaurant is open for indoor and outdoor dining. * Reservations encouraged call, 636-536-9404, or visit our website www.Bishopspost.com. Menus are listed on our website.





1) Umbrellas- These are stationary and will not be moved per any requests.
2) Heaters-These are stationary and will not be moved per any requests.
3) We only take reservations for up to 12 guests without a food and beverage minimum being met.
4) Parties of 6 or more, 1 check, 20% policy; up to 3 credit cards may be provided for bill.
5) We ask that parties of 6 or more honor our 2 hour time limit for the table.
6) Seating in the garden room and waterfall area will vary depending on private events taking place.
7) We ask that all guests arrive on time and give us a call at least 15 minutes ahead of reservation if you're running late; we also ask that everyone is mindful of the allotted 2 hour time frame for seating to allow all guests to partake in the patio experience.

    The consistency has remained a priority for Bishop’s Post. Whether dining alone or having family or dear friends join us, my husband and I genuinely enjoy looking forward to each reservation. Management has set a high bar of excellence, from the kitchen, to the bar, to being welcomed, seated and served. The food is always fresh, well-prepared with an artful presentation to match. Drinks are mixed and prepared exactly as they should. It doesn’t matter whether dining inside or, weather permitting, outside it’s beautiful, always relaxing and an experience that we have enjoyed for years.

    The food was excellent, our server was attentive but not intrusive, and the overall ambiance was great. It was a bit loud in the dining room, especially for my husband, who wears hearing aids, but it certainly wasn't offputting, just a busy, bustling restaurant. It was way too hot for patio seating, but the patio looks gorgeous.

    I took my mother per a recommendation and found it difficult for us to communicate due the number of conversations.

    Have dined here a number of times. Friends chose this restaurant tonight. We were seated in a small dining room off the main room, opened to a larger room overlooking the patio. The noise level was so high we had to yell at each other. We asked for the doors to be closed which would have helped immensely but they said their ac could not keep the outer room cool. I had a chicken breast and my wife had a vegetarian enteee. Plus salad and 3 glasses of wine (the less expensive wine choices). Our bill was over $100 before tip. The food is average at best and overpriced. The atmosphere was not conducive to dining and conversation. No need to return.

    William, Thank you for your feedback. We wish we could have accommodated your party and closed the doors, but that would have made many guests incredibly uncomfortable. We can appreciate you being price conscious and recommend trying our happy hour. Monday thru Friday we do offer glasses of wine for $7, as well as some more economical appetizers. We do try to keep our pricing competitive with the market, and are always reviewing our pricing strategies. We hope to see you in some day on our happy hour in the future. Thanks Bishop's Post Team

    Patio is beautiful! Service was less than desirable. Our waitress was not very attentive and forgot to bring the glass of ice requested. Never came to the table after our food was served to see if it was OK. The beef tenderloin in my dish was way overcooked. My husband‘s tuna was OK but nothing spectacular. Not sure we’ll be returning even though the patio is beautiful.

    The food is excellent, meat loaf, mashed potatoes, twice baked potato, green beans, asparagus, and filet were fixed to perfection. We sat inside because it was a warm day outside. On the patio people were enjoying the waterfall and bird song with their dinners. Staff is terrific.
