    First time at Bishops Post. Very welcomed by staff. Service was top notch from filling water, to clearing courses. Had the rib-eye steak perfectly cooked med-rare. Also had gumbo that was very flavorful. Greeted by both manager and GM. Can’t wait to go back to the enjoy the Patio. Just moved to Chesterfield recently. For upscale casual this has moved to the top of the list.

    Good as we always expect from this restaurant. The food and plate were hot. Our meals came in a timely manner. The server was attentive but not intrusive. The food tasted great.

    Great prime rib. Saturday they have a prime rib special with a twice baked potato, Yorkshire pudding and green beans. Really good and the 10 oz cut was the perfect size. Our server, Sam, was excellent. We ate in the Post Room which had heaters inside and outside so the room was comfortable on a cold night.

    The paella special was wonderful, as was the classic fried chicken and the shrimp and grits. The black and blue pasta is unique and fabulous. Jenny's hospitality made it even more special.

    Was a horrible experience. Food cold, tasteless. Our table was flimsy the chairs were folding chairs very uncomfortable. You could tell the server did not want to be working. Very disappointed

    Some of the advertised menu was not there (Waldorf salad) and no rolls - which was odd. Good service. A little pricey for Thanksgiving.

    Excellent dining experience. Our waitress was friendly, funny, and looked after us very nicely. Our meals were delicious (halibut, meatloaf) and the dessert (apple-cranberry bread pudding) was fantastic. The ambient noise level was moderate when we arrived - the place was full - but quieted down a far bit as the earlier diners finished up. Very nice evening at Bishop's Post.

    Lunch with a friend! Good choices on the menu! Calamari was excellent. Salads were above average but could have been fresher. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely go there again! Their outdoor patio is the nicest in town!

    Although the patio is closed for the season, we sat in the garden room. The waterfall was lit in the background which made for great ambiance. It was a wonderful evening with good food and a great server. Thank you Lexy.

    A simple menu with enough variety to please just about anyone. Surprisingly crowded for a Wednesday evening ... glad we made reservations. Service was great. Salads, steak & Chilean sea bass were nicely presented and delicious. Adequate wine selection.

    Always a good choice, Bishops Post never fails to deliver. Our server, Jenn, gave great recommendations when we asked and is just a delight with a great attitude!

    Service was great and the ambience was very nice. The food was average. I think is slightly overpriced but. Hate to judge on just one visit. I would go again to give it another chance. Outdoor dining area looked wonderful.

    you need dimmers on your lights. the room to the left was way too bright so asked to be seated in the middle room.. that was too bright too.. would be so much nicer and peaceful and better ambiance to have the lights lower. also.. you should get luxardo cherries for your old fashioneds.. great waitress though, and good food. would come back if lighting were more conducive to relaxing. :)

    My sister in law and I meet for lunch. What a wonderful time we had a Bishop Post. There is no pressure in ordering or leaving. It was an experience that I will gladly repeat. Casual dining at it best. Our portions was better than expected. Food was very tasty. Desserts were excellent.

    Super friendly staff. We sat out on the patio on a beautiful autumn evening. The ambience is spectacular. For the beautiful floral arrangements to the soothing waterfall made our dining out a wonderful experience. They even had a birthday card waiting. Can’t wait to go back!
