Always a great dining experience.
Good food, friendly service and a great setting for an outside meal.
We reserved a patio table (due to COVID) for our 31st anniversary dinner. The menu was very limited to due the patio and COVID. Had we known this, we would have reserved at another restaurant. This information was not available when we booked the restaurant.
Food: The bacon wrapped shrimp was tasty, but why serve three shrimp for two people? You may want to rethink this. The filet and salmon were both good and well prepared entrees. The bread pudding and flourless chocolate torte were also tasty.
Our server Jenny was the BEST. Dining room to bright so we moved to the bar area for dinner. Enjoyed our meal.
Nice varied menu. Some old time classics from a former chef we kept on the menu and they’re great. I love fish and they always have a good selection. Very nice wine list as well
Excellent food and service, we highly recommend.
Great dinner !
Service was terrible. Food and ambiance was amazing!
The rain kept us off the beautiful patio but our indoor dining experience was magnificent, as was the food and the service. Bishop’s Post is outstanding!
IT WAS SO NICE TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY A SPECIAL MEAL ON THE WONDERFUL PATIO.
Great place to eat and live the ambiance outside!
I think they have the best patio in West County. Food and service very good.
We waited for our even though we had a reservation - they were very busy Friday night. But social distancing prevailed and the food was great as always. We sat outside.
Disappointed in the service. Our waiter was not very attentive. We had to wait a long time trying to get his attention when we needed something.
Sat on the beautiful patio. Tables were spaced OK. Food was good.
This is the nicest patio in West County. The menu has been somewhat limited, but food is good and service (Brandon) is excellent. We go there frequently, never disappointed.
We dined outside and their patio is beautiful. The tables are well spaced out and there were numerous heaters should there be a chill in the air.
The salads were fresh and had ample ingredients thus making them very filling.
Birthday it’s my bday
Love the atmosphere and service. Enjoyed the seafood gumbo and wonderful desserts.
A beautiful outdoor patio space for sure !!! Food - so so -We sat outside - had a glass of wine -- and split a caesar salad and turkey burger. The Ceasar salad was pretty gooey - too much dressing, and nothing to write home about. The turkey burger was good - just good though. The waiter charged us for for 2 entrees not one - and he never once filled our water glasses even when we asked for more water. They may have been under-staffed since it was a nice day - and lots of people outside. Not sure if I would go back.
2 of us ordered fish and one ordered meatloaf. We all loved our dinner
I thought the ambiance for indoor dining was just ok. Nothing special. My entree was good, but I thought the app was just fair, and was overpriced. Service was decent, nothing special.. I don’t plan on coming back to this restaurant.
We got seated immediately outside. In my opinion, the BP patio is the nicest al fresco dining around. Late October, but they had the heaters on, so we were comfortable. Our server, Nina, was wonderful; attentive and prompt. The food was fabulous, as always. We had the clam chowder and salad with salmon. Very tasty, both. And just the right amounts for lunch. The wine was very good as well and the bottle was soon emptied. It was a bit pricy for lunch, but well worth the ambiance to spend a beautiful fall afternoon on their patio in sight of the waterfall.
It’s always a delight to dine here. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food.
The meal was fabulous- filet was cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts and potatoes were delicious. Bartender was our server and she could not have been better!
This is one of our favorite venues. Great food and the ambience is second to none in St Louis. Also, can’t say enough about our favorite server, Virginia. She combines very professional service with making our visit fun.
Waitress was good on task but not personable at all. Showed attitude each interaction.
I’ enjoy this restaurant and they have terrific food and service. BUT we reserved there because they have a patio with heaters. When we arrived we were told they closed the patio for that night only. If we had been contacted in advance we would have changed our reservation to another restaurant and returned to Bishop Post another night. To make it worse there was a very loud group there as well.
It is always fabulous dining on the patio!
Food was okay, drinks were great & very good service!
A very enjoyable evening. First time there and we really enjoyed it.
Prices for the food were reasonable. Drinks were a little more expensive.
I had the Shrimp Tempura. it was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken tortilla soup. It was $8.00 for a bowl and didn’t have much chicken in it, but the flavor was good.
He ordered meatloaf for dinner. It was very good as well. The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful!
Great food and atmosphere!
We brought my mother here for her first time here. Had an excellent evening. Our server Sam took very good care of us. We love the Black&blue pasta.
we sat outside ... they had great heat coverage, the food was awesome and the chef adapted to one of our needs ... the server suggested things well everything went smooth ..thank you
Beautiful patio! Great food and service always! Dan and his staff do a great job always making the guests enjoy a great experience!
Great service and food.
We had wonderful food the other night at Bishops Post. I had the sea bass which was amazing, my companions enjoyed shrimp and grits and salmon. Unfortunately we were basically ignored by our waiter. After our food was brought by someone else, we didn’t see h8m again for at least 30 minutes it wasn’t that crowded, not sure what was going on. It was my mother’s birthday which normally rates a nice desert but he didn’t remember and we were ready to go by the time he showed up.
Love the patio experience. Food is always delicious.
