Food, service and overall experience was solid. However, our server, who was good, enjoyed a full head of dreadlocks, which should have been covered, as you would expect from any level of food preparer/server. It was not a hygienic experience for us.

I appreciated the server breaking down the menu and highlighting that the intent was to share everything, this allowed my husband and I to approach the menu in a a fun way by ordering tapa style. Food was delicious and perfectly portioned. We loved the open kitchen and overall layout. Restroom was spacious and well lit! Services was impeccable, and our server was the right amount of attentive, but the team could use a few more hands to support when the crowd picks up.

I’ve been to the Bird & The Bottle a number of time before and it was excellent. These time it was not. The food was mediocre at best and service was pathetic!

Staff was friendly but they were obviously busy or understaffed as it took a long time (10-15 minutes) before someone even came to take our initial drink order. And even after we got our drinks, we had to flag someone down to ask for our waitress to come take our order. Once the orders were in, the drinks and food did arrive at a reasonable pace. We stayed for a long leisurely dinner and we did not feel rushed. I really enjoyed the beet & goat cheese salad, as well as the recommended wine selection, but other than that, our meal was unremarkable. All in all, I had an enjoyable evening as the atmosphere had a good vibe. I am not from Santa Rosa, so I am not sure how this place compares to others in the area.

It was really fun and delicious sharing dishes at the bird and bottle. All the food was interesting with not every day ingredients and yet everything was super delicious. from the starters through dessert, including specialty cocktails we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. He was the bomb.
