Birch & Vine is an innovative restaurant within the hip boutique hotel known as The Birchwood. Birch & Vine takes a seasonal approach to crafting its Globally Inspired cuisine. As the seasons change and the bounty of the land and sea evolves, so do the menus at Birch & Vine. Located on famous Beach Drive in the Downtown St. Petersburg district, the restaurant sits across the street from North Straub Park, the Vinoy Marina, and the sparkling waters of Tampa Bay.

Please note, online reservations are available for Birch and Vine, we do not accept online reservations for the Canopy, reservations for The Canopy may be available through the restaurant directly.

Food was ok not great. Not a lot of flavor. (Mashed potatoes, béarnaise, au poivre) Demi Glacé was the best tasting item we had. Prices were high considering. Service was great though.

Way too expensive for the quality of food. It was basic buffet food that was obviously mass produced, other than the omelette station.

Open table did not reserve our buffet table as promised. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told they did not have our reservation. It totally ruined our family Easter plans and we could not find another restaurant at such short notice. It was a terrible experience.

Our server was nice but I 10 to forgot to bring us a steak knife for a meal.. However for the price the appetizer were quite high for what what we ordered. My husband‘s steak was not the cut he had asked for and it came out cold. Brussels sprouts were amazing. Scallops were amazing shrimp and coconut was wonderful. The manager was very nice to remove the state from our bill, but there were several situations that I was in the restaurant which was very noticeable.

The salmon was underwhelming. We even heard people at the other table, say the same thing. Mashed potatoes and salmon, no flavor on those. But the chicken was good, no disrespect, just being honest
