We love Billy's. The food, atmosphere and service are great.
Menu was limited with selections, but they did everything great and flavor was top notch.
A bit pricey, more location pricing than quality.
Great food, view snd service.
Food was excellent. We had a beautiful table with a stellar view. Our server was great—friendly and attentive. Unfortunately she went on a break and her substitute was rude and non attentive. The manager made it right and was apologetic and helped make our table feel festive again as we were celebrating a birthday. Overall a very good experience and fun Aloha vibe and I would return! And the loco moco was fantastic!
Very nice but very loud. More of a party restaurant than intimate dining.
We had such a fun brunch, two of us ordered breakfast and two ordered burgers, everything was delicious. We had three different waitresses and they were exceptional and made our dining experience exceptional.
Food was terrible and the service was lacking. The last few times I’ve been to Billy’s it’s been disappointing, which is too bad because the view is beautiful from the restaurant
Great appetizers and desserts. Fish entree was a little dry but overall very good. Our server Stephanie was on top of things and her suggestions were on point.
My “famous mai tai” was super heavy on the dark rum, but nothing a side of pineapple juice couldn’t fix! Had a great time. Would totally go back!
We have been going to Billy’s since it opened and always have a fantastic meal, view & experience. The PuPU platter is the best way to start!
From the ambience to the food to the service.... all exceptional! I will definitely be going back!
Nothing beats Billy’s for a great burger and mai tai.
Food is always fantastic, and the Mai Tais take it over the top!
Dirty tablecloth, bad way to start! Food, especially pupu platter was not edible.
It's a few years since we are here. Nothing seems to have changed. The service was goid and the food so so. I think there are better options around.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day on Feb 15 and the restaurant was still celebrating. They had red and pink helium heart balloons covering the ceiling. Service was great and the food and drinks were excellent. Beautiful Hawaiian atmosphere. Location is right on the water and we experienced a gorgeous sunset.
Gr8 avocado toast & fish tacos!! Service was very cheerful and professional
It was Valentine’s Day and they were clearly cramming everybody in that they could. Literally had to move tables to get to my seat and kept bumping elbows with the couple sitting next to us. They put us right next to the bar and it was super loud. The mahi mahi and salmon were delicious but the coconut shrimp appetizer was just average (Also three pieces is a strange number of shrimp for a couple). Service was great but I don’t think I will go back.
Jenna (I think that was her name) was on break so our service was started by someone else.
-Food was okay, needed more seasoning. Ordered the crab cakes and scallops. -Location was excellent.
-Live music starts at 7pm. Really nice entertainer on the Thursday visit.
Overall, great location. Had better seafood, but nice ambience inside.
This place has the most awesome view, as it is right on the water. Debbie was our server and gave us excellent suggestions and took great care of us. Everyone enjoyed their lunch - most of our group had either the shrimp/papaya salad or the shrimp/crab louie. One friend enjoyed the prime rib sandwich. Love this place as a lunch spot on a pretty day. Note: valet parking is $8 each, you might want to carpool here if meeting up with a larger group of friends.
It was very good!!
We really enjoyed our visit to Billy's at the Beach. Service was outstanding as was the food. I will go their again when in the area. Plan on spending $100 per person with tip. Also the corkage fee is $30. Portions are really big, so consider sharing.
Always a pleasure eating here! We made reservations as had a party of 6, great window table, food and drinks enjoyed by all. Mai tai is a must!!
My wife and I've been there several times. You could always count on good seafood at Billy's. This time, no. My wife's sea bass was flavorless and drowned in too much oil - or was it butter? Since they weren't offering a fish I found appealing, I chose a steak for the first time at Billy's. I usually have a filet if I'm opting for steak, but Billy only offers a 7 oz. one. Too small so I went for the rib eye. Huh-uh. Not a good one. As flavorless as the sea bass.
The Saturday night crowd was small. Well, Billy died a few years ago, and for a while the new ownership stuck with the old quality. It wasn't in evidence Saturday night. Alas.
Cocunut shrimp tasteless but sea bass good! Atmosphere fab!
Horrible. Menu online isn’t close to what they actually serve. We ordered the Tuna appetizer and it was covered in yellow deli mustard. So gross. Very disappointing! We paid and left and the server recommended other restaurants that were better, which is super weird! It was one of those things that you wonder what the heck just happened!
Friendly and comfortable. I organized a suprize lunch for my husband. everything was perfect.
Billy's at the beach team arranged a wonderful table of 10 people bay view and near the band.
Excellent service and happy husband :)
It’s a favorite for day or evening, everyday and special occasions!
Asked to be seated furthest table from the bar and was not, was a Birthday noted in our reservations and nothing dine for the celebration.
This is our favorite place to dine in Newport. The mai tais are the best you will find anywhere and the fish is fresh and perfectly prepared.
