Big Fish Grill-Issaquah
Nice lunch with plenty of spaces between table for COVID19.
I think this was about our 4th or 5th time at Big Fish Grill in the Issaquah Highlands. Food was good and server was friendly and helpful. Food came out super fast!
Tyler is a fantastic server.
Anniversary. We ate outside. Our meals were outstanding.
My biggest problem with this place was that we made a reservation and after arriving on time, had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Food was great and our waitress was great. Definitely recommend the drinks. Only other problem was being sat on the south end of the restaurant, every car that turned on in the parking lot across the street was blinding us. Not a lot the restaurant could do but maybe have blinds down.
Always a good place--food and service is the best.
Very disappointed in the food quality and prices. The Paella lacked traditional flavor, it had salmon in it which is not something you put in Paella, lacked other seafoods such as squid and white fish, and the mussels tasted like they were boiled then thrown in at the last minute. The worst part is the waiter said this was his favorite and best selling dish. The most expensive steak dish they had, was the lost disappointing steak I’ve ever had. It has Zero! Flavor, was overcooked and looked like it was fried in a pan with a lid on it. Had we not traveled 40min to eat at this place I would have walked out after the first bite. Don’t waste your money. $100+ dollars for two people with this experience, you’re better of grilling at home yourself!
Definitely recommend patio or dining in bar area. Excellent food and service.
Food was REALLY good. Wife had the halibut, son had the chicken piccata and I had the paella. We all loved our food. Only reason i'm giving a 4 versus a 5 is that while the server was efficient, he was a pretty low energy guy, didn't really seem super interested in us.
Wonderful and tasty meals. I had the halibut fish and sweet potato chips. My wife had the grilled salmon. Very clean and following safety protocols.
First time out since March. Birthday celebration, sat on patio. Zackery was Awesome.
Great location, and service. Safety protocols in place. A great place for happy hour.
Our server and food was wonderful. We look forward to our next visit.
Big Fish Grill is open at reduced capacity, but still great food and great service. Servers wear masks and the folks are doing the cleaning stuff. Good!
Raul is a wonderful server. He is very personable and professional.
Lent...and eating paleo...
High school friends getting together.
I really enjoy this restaurant. The service and food is amazing. There are plenty of choices on the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. The service is professional, attentive and efficient. Big Fish is one of my favorite restaurants.
Always clean, comfortable restaurant.
Food appearance great; all three entrees delicious
We will go back again
Wonderful food and service. My only disappointment was no water refills.
Good food and service. Food was slow likely because it was Valentine’s Day
It was ok - service was struggling and the kitchen was way behind. Food entrees was good, but the chef salad is not very good; a ton of vinegar and no tomatoes.
Waiter asked if my fries wanted the sauce on the salad or on the side, she requested on the salad but it came on the side, don’t ask if you won’t remember. I ordered the prime rib and is was almost all fat. Not worth the price.
We had a delicious dinner at big Fish last Saturday night. I would recommend getting reservations whenever going there for dinner. The restaurant fills up quickly.
Waitress forgot appetizer. Food was good but small portion.
Offered us dessert for forgetting appetizer. We didn’t want dessert. She gave us a $10 discount card.
Our waiter, Steve, was so bad that it ruined our experience. I will not eat at this restaurant again as a result. His service was awful and he was rude, condescending and argumentative.
So bummed out. Starting a new tradition with my kids for Christmas Eve of dinner and a movie and I booked this reservation for 5:30. What I didn't realize was that they were completely closing the restaurant at 7 that evening and were going to do just about anything to get us out before then. This included bringing our entrees before salads and appetizers, not allowing us to order a second beverage (even though we asked) and not once checking in on how our meal was. By 6:30 they were clearly cleaning stations and shutting down the restaurant. While I totally get and agree with wanting to give your employees a Christmas eve evening with their families, it shouldn't be at the expense of customers' evenings.
Our favorite place to eat. The food is delish! And we love how quite it is.
Just okay with food that lacked real attention to detail. Halibut was overcooked, rice was uninspired and asparagus was bland.
Great location for us; the food was outstanding and the service was excellent!
Easy to get in and out. Lots of parking.
The staff worked with when my other guest was late arriving. Very attentive to our needs.
I had a great lunch at Big Fish Grill-Issaquah on Veteran's Day. The restaurant was kind enough to provide me with a free entree since I am a veteran. I could have any entree on the menu no matter the price. I chose my favorite--the Big Fish Seafood Combo salad--it includes grilled salmon, prawns and scallops with blue cheese and bacon crumbles plus avocado and olives with a blue cheese vinaigrette dressing--superb! Jennifer was my server and she was so cheerful and kind to all the diners including a young Coast Guard family there just before their Dad deploys on the ice breaker POLAR STAR to Antartica. A wonderful experience!
Everything was perfect. Shout out to Maddison, who went the extra mile to make sure everything was just right.
Attentive service and very tasty food. Our entire party enjoyed the experience.
Food was excellent. Server was friendly but he forgot our appetizer and then brought us the check without offering desert. Felt pushed out.
We stopped in before a play at the Village Theater. Dinner was delicious, and reasonably priced. We will be back.
Manager stopped by our table several times to check that everything was going ok. Everything was great as it always is when we visit.
Good food and excellent service makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Big Fish Grill delivered on both counts. Well done!
Our family of four went to Big Fish Grill in Issaquah for my birthday. It did not disappoint. My husband and I ordered the Black and Blue Halibut, on their special menu. The presentation was great. We both loved the crisp edges of the seared fish, as well as the blueberry chutney. One son got the crab cakes and enjoyed them. Our other son got a fettucine dish that looked good. I was very impressed with the little touches of the side dishes, like the chutney. Oh - my husband got the waffle cut sweet potato fries ($2 upcharge) and they were wonderfully crispy. I requested that the rice pilaf be swapped out for another veggie and it was no problem. We got the double chocolate brownie. That was the only disappointment. The brownie was cakey and a bit dry. We like the gooey type. All in all, it was a wonderful meal. Angie took great care of us.
