BBQ & Lobstershack. We're a local institution, with an international following, this powerhouse of a restaurant is set over 2 huge floors in Covent Garden boasting a 9m wow factor bar on the ground floor & a more intimate speak-easy style shelter bar on the lower deck.

We proudly offer a large slice of easy going living, inspired by the Gulf Coast, with live bands 7 nights week, a friendly welcoming atmosphere, fresh cocktails, ice cold beers and generous portions of
good old home-style cooking offering Home-Smoked BBQ & Fresh East Coast Lobsters.

Fast forward to today and we continue to uphold those time-honoured traditions; social occasions of the bygone age, friends getting together over great fresh food, plentiful drinks and music - these never go out of fashion.

    We arrived when it opened and were promptly greeted. We were sat at our table and brought a glass of prosecco as we were celebrating our anniversary. Kirstie was our server and she was exceptional. She was very friendly and explained the menu. She checked on us numerous times and discussed our further vacation plans giving us ideas and information on sites to see. Our food was amazing, as we had Steak and Lobster and The BBQ platter. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

    6 x of us had different types of burgers all very small Chips were nice but again very small portions We booked months in advance to ensure we got a placing on our special day, we also asked to be placed near to the live music, we actually got placed downstairs where the live music was but behind a dividing caged wall, with all tables closest to the entertainment being unused for over a hour ? The live entertainment we could only hear was dire, playing as if he didn't want to be there, no effort creating no atmosphere, joy or happiness at all.. Very dim lighting in general, service was good & always on hand... Will not be returning or promoting to friends & family...

    We had a wonderful time there. The manager of the day and the staffs were all accommodating, friendly and very polite . Thank you too for the birthday treat for my daughter( ice cream with candle ) that's awesome!

    As is always the case for me personally, I'm not disappointed by The Big Easy. It has a way of delivering effortlessly what dining should be at that level and does it consistently and has done for many, many years.

    We paid for the brunch and upgraded the drinks package. But we spent most of the time with empty glasses as only 2 people working front of house. Also, we have been fans of BE for years but can see they are really selling low value food now, the steaks that come with the steak and lobster meal are mostly inedible now. Just chewing rubbish cheap meat. Do not buy their meat if you want to talk to someone else or have any issues with your teeth.
