The food was lovely, but the waitress that took our order was uninterested in actually talking to us. Kept looking around the restaurant and made a mistake with one of our starters which eventually turned up whilst we were halfway through our mains.
Then there was the jug of Long Island Iced Tea that we didn’t order - turning up on our table twice and initially being added to our bill.
No apologies, no manners. It’s a shame.
Won’t be returning. Food was cold and had to Keep asking to take our order. Not attentive at all
Having used Big Easy many times and never been disappointed, sadly this time the experience left a big void.
Looking at the previous reviews when I booked, sadly the trend seemed to be stock levels of items on the menu not adequate. I was so concerned that I called and asked them to clarify levels of stock for our visit, to be told all was fine now after some initial supply issues after lockdown had been lifted.
Having been told all was ok we kept our booking.
Looking through the menu on arrival, we chose our starter and mains. Sadly when the waitress came to collect our order, popcorn shrimp wasn’t available and NO STEAK OF ANY KIND WAS AVAILABLE.
We should have been told when given the menu what wasn’t available, not wait until we had chosen to be told it wasn’t available.
We sadly chose different items than what we wanted.
On leaving we went to the rest room and my partner came out of the ladies saying that three of the toilets were over flowing and blocked.
The whole experience was not one I wish to repeat.
Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Went for the boozy brunch and 1 of the 3 options was not available, waitress couldn’t of cared less. Frozen cocktail wasn’t frozen but was told by the waitress it was what she was given so it’s not her problem. Kept getting other meals set down on our table throughout the afternoon and then funnily enough these were all on our bill at the end of the meal. Manager really didn’t care and came across as not having a clue as to what was going on. Not one mention of my daughters 18th despite us making the staff aware. I have visited the big easy in a couple of locations including Canary Wharf and it’s normally excellent, hence why we chose it to celebrate my daughters 18th but I will not be returning. I have not listed all the issues we had as it would take too long. In the end it was so shocking it was laughable. The food when we got it was quite good but I would avoid like the plague as the customer service and catalogue of errors made it a shambles

Good service overall. Lobster need a bit of seasoning was very bland. The Mac and cheese need some flavour no taste at all. Staff were polite and kind.
Really nice frozen cocktails and desserts, lovely view and live music to listen to.
Music was a little too loud inside could barely hear yourself or who your talking to but other than that good & service was great

The service we received was so amazing, Guisseppe our waiter for the day made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. We loved the food, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal, it was the best meal me and my group of friends have had in a while, Considering the quality, the price is reasonable, Love this place and me and my friends will definitely continue to visit.
Excellent venue, Great Staff, Excellent choice of menu, something for everyone, and great size of portions, chips are truely amazing
I have used this venue many times with friends - The 'Buzz' is always great and makes for a really good atmosphere - our party really enjoyed the overall experience - the food was very disappointing needs to be 'Stepped up' a bit the express lunch chilli was not good at all & the lobster in a bun was tasteless.
But the service was friendly - as was most of the staff very happy and accommodating the piped music is always great and then the live band was great rounding off a brilliant day (a school birthday reunion)

Didn't get much attention. Drinks were dumped on the table without pouring (maybe due to covid), Didn't get cooler for wine, if we needed something had to keep flagging waiter off. Steak and lobster was overcooked, but only asked for steak to eat redone as didn't wanna cause more issues. After finishing the meal we were not offered desserts,nor drinks. Doesn't feel like going back again :/

Unfortunately the kitchen was out of service when we booked, so only had a very limited selection of the menu available. The restaurant didn't contact us in advance to advise, which was a bit disappointing.
The building is great and lovely terrace over looking the dock, so from that angle I would love to go back when the kitchen is actually working properly.
Fire alarm went off halfway through our drinks. Still enjoyed them and the food looked lovely! Friendly staff helped us to get out of the building. We will be back!
Big easy is one of my favourite places to eat
Wasn’t too busy and for the most part service was smooth just took a little bit of time to get peoples attention towards the end of the meal but was amazing none the less
Very rude waiter assigned to our table. Service took 30 minutes for two pieces of shrimp. The other staff just ignored us.
We have been to the Big Easy before - Covent Garden and here in Canary Wharf. We had a really great evening - we went for the Tuesday (all you can eat Shrimp). Huge juicy shrimp. Excellent service. We had a beer which came with the meal. Not keen on Big Easy brew - we eft it. It tased of 'corks' but we switched to BeaverTown Neckoil. A great beer for a warm summer evening. Excellent service - really good value. We love them.

Absolutely shocking. From the slow service (ridiculously slow) to the lack of some things, attempts to pass off drinks as something they weren’t and general lack of attention to customers. Hardest workers in the place are the food runners and based on yesterday they’re the only ones who don’t a lot more training and supervision. Won’t be going back, won’t be recommending the place.
I've been to Big easy in Covent Garden it was outstanding. Unfortunately Big easy Canary wharf was disappointing from table allocation to service delivered.
Service was poorly-timed, not sure if due to inexperienced staffing or on purpose. Even staff member above waiters level wasn't sure what he was doing.
Service only improved when they wanted to kick us out.

The muffin seemed a little stale. Was a little disappointed as the restaurant wasn’t running at full capacity. It’s one of my favourite places and it was our anniversary so a little gutted. Not sure if our waiting staff was new or just really couldn’t be bothered 😕

2 hrs drive as obviously wanted Lobster. Shown to seat and then told after a 20 min wait they had no Lobster!!!.

Well this was my 1st visit to Big Easy - we arrived on time and was seated within 5 mins. The menu is very big so we took about 35 mins, undisturbed making our menu choices. I was only interested in having a seafood platter with prawns and lobster. When the waitress arrived at our table after chasing for service were told there is no lobster and no prawns, wow, not happy, why weren't we told this at reception, lobster and prawns are big sellers at Big Easy. From there it all went down hill. The food was ok, but not what we wanted at all. There was nothing special about Big Easy and we will not be visiting again. I did read several recent reviews and they were all spot on..... as I experienced.
Service was very poor. Having been told we only had 1 hour, 30 mins for the table the food was slow to arrive. No-one checked if we wanted more drinks or dessert. We had a Monday special unlimited food but no-one came to bring more. Had to ask for the bill but no-one came to take payment. Clearly a lack of staff.
Great food and good service, as always. Outside terrace was ideal on a nice day.
Excellent overall experience. The waitress forgot to give us the bibs so we messed up our clothes a little bit with our crab and lobster encounter. We also have to ask for pick fork. Normally they provide everything once you sat down on the table. Will come back again and again.
No lobster on the menu which is ridiculous as it’s a steak and lobster restaurant. Beer served in a chipped glass and still charged for the drink even though it was sent back. Service was very slow and had different server each time. I will not be going back to the big easy
