Due to the covid restrictions, it was just plain cold being outside, with no heat lamps (despite asking for some). As such, we left early.
No outdoor heating, no blankets. Food was okay but was cold when it was served. Seated very far away and service was slow. Took food away and was initially told I couldn’t, then the second time I could and they would give me takeaway boxes. When asked if I could have bags, first lady said no but another server offered us some. Some of the servers were rude, did not have time for our table, didn’t want to be there, didn’t explain the menu or specials etc and didn’t even make eye contact! Shocking. Very disappointed about the service. I will not return & will not suggest to any of my friends. Shame..
I understand it’s COVID but this was booked for a birthday. No special treatment and put in a very cold area.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend. Didn't have what I wanted on the early bird menu (which is only £10) so I decided to order off normal menu. I paid £24 for 3 ribs and 3 shrimp when my boyfriend paid £10 to get 2 ribs included in his meal?? I also asked the server if this would be a rack of ribs for £24 which she said yes and then out came 3 ribs. Even these ribs were not very nice. Very disappointed as I’ve always talked highly of this place.

I was very disappointed to be sat in area that was very cold and windy, the table heater was not working and no effort was made to find a replacement or another table. We spoke to several members of staff and someone who appeared senior and in different to our issue. We spent £150 I think a little more effort should have been made.

We arrived with a 6:30 booking and found a queue of at least 25 people - we presumed this would be of no concern as we had booked. We informed the host that we had a booking, only to be informed that everyone had a booking and we would have to join the queue. Although the host was clearly stressed and completely overwhelmed, this was unacceptable. She informed us the restaurant was “overbooked”. We waited for 50 minutes past our original booking time and were finally seated at 7:30. Considering the time we had just waited we were met with no apologies and felt rushed to order. We ordered two of the most expensive dishes on the menu, both of which arrived cold. I requested for my steak to be heated up and was given no apology - by the time it was bought back I had finished the rest of my meal. We finished our drinks and requested the bill, and were met with an audacious £14 service charge, which we refused to pay. The waiter made no attempt to apologise or ask for any feedback. This was our first meal out since Christmas and we were very disappointed. The establishment is clearly understaffed and overwhelmed, and the food did not represent the price tag that came with it.

Unfortunately it was chaotic. Looks like the restaurant was very understaffed. Waiting staff were all over the shop, running around, cursing and at wits end. Cleaning materials left on our table. Staff were very stressed. We were on edge the entire time. The drinks very slow. They also ran out of bread which was very disappointing as i wanted a lobster roll.
Definitely need more staff!!! Won’t be coming back again as felt anxious the whole time what should have been an enjoyable experience.

Food was great! However, the service was appalling! We asked about five different waiters for drinks and sauces yet none came; and despite not being given our drinks they were still added to the bill at the end as well as a larger service charge, despite the service being poor. Sitting outside was actually not bad as they had heaters above each of the tables and even when it started raining you could not feel it at all so that aspect of It was good!
Shockingly poor service. Staff don’t remember orders, little to no effort to help when I asked if we could move tables as we were sat at a high bar setting which was uncomfortable to eat at. Rude and dismissive attitude, staff don’t know the menu, don’t bother.
My partner &I went out for 1st date night post lockdown & we loved every bit of it. The food was really good & worth the price too.
Lack of staff. To get one thing had to remind at least 3 times. Very poor service.
-food quality has gone down compare to before. Like Apple crumble had homemade custard before, but now lumpy stodgy custard from a packet.
Pork Ribs were super dry and felt like eating sticks.
Lobster was extra small and rubbery.

Sitting outside wasnt great. Very cold and quite windy. Heaters did make a small improvement but food gets cold so quickly its not worth ordering anything.
Having said that. Food was very good and service decent given the circumstances. Looking forward to returning when inside seating is granted
Our food was delicious and it was quick service. Didn't feel rushed out once time was up. Only negative was that the system to getting in and getting seated was chaotic and we weren't seated until about 20 minutes after our booking time.
Food was okay ,quite overrated . The service was too slow , kept calling the waiter to come and oh the bill . They need more waiters tbh . Also need outdoor heaters as outside was too cold to eat in . They should have more table booking slots
Bit of a long wait, even with a booking: food and service were very good.
Very busy, very disorganised, manager tried her best but the staff didn’t help, wrong food at wrong table, ages for drinks orders and very prompt when moving people on, overall probably wouldn’t go back as there are so many places to eat in the area.
Easy to book online, the lady was helpful when taking our booking reference and seating us at a table. The food was lovely, however I could not distinguish between staff taking orders and customers as there is no real uniform or name badges to identify who actually works for the Big Easy. I enjoyed our overall experience but service could be a little bit more organised with clear communication.
The food is amazing and the service is the best but make sure you have a reservation in order to get in.
We was seated an hour after our booking time, which was very poor, however once we was seated everything was perfect including the service from the waiters
The food mas excellent and the service was outstanding. Wish I had taken the person who served us name as he was amazing and made our experience even more wonderful.
Visited for my birthday with friends. 30 minutes into our booking, no Prosecco, no glasses. Food arrived, still no drinks, requested several times. Prosecco arrived, no glasses! Food average, empty condiments brought to table with broken salt grinder. Requested further Prosecco, it just didn’t come. All around the service was absolutely terrible. It was a very disappointing brunch. There seemed to be a huge lack of communication between staff which ment we were left high and dry. Sadly not a birthday brunch I will be remembering.

Service was abysmal. The waiter taking care of the section passed my table several times, despite trying to get his attention. I had to call out and let him know I’ve been seated for 20 minutes and at no point did he greet or offer drinks to start. I refuse to go back. Food, don’t get me started!

We came on Saturday..the food was lovely we all went for the Hit & Run menu great value for money we all had the slushes which were nice! But service was very slow & bit unorganised.
Waiting 10 minutes to be seated after which was told coz we late we have an 1.45 min on the table order took forever to be taken and our main was served before the starters . Didn't get our cutlery or pretective gear for the lobster.
It’s the 3rd time I have been in 2 weeks, today my steak came 10 minutes before my chips my steak was cold by the time my chips came. My husbands food came after we had finished eating and I was charged for extra chips that I didn’t order
Food was awful, had the burger came out burnt send back and come out even more burnt the second time with random bbq sauce that was not even ment to be in the burger
Service needs to improve as this was not as good as many previous visits to big easy . Had to ask 4 times for water. No clean napkins came which were asked for. Music a bit loud as was sat Under a speaking and when I asked to move . Was told I could not and I could see loads of tables empty . The glass of wine I was given had lip stick on around the glass rim and this had to be changed .

I do love this place but the table service, as usual, was pretty bad. Didn't get our drinks until 40 minutes after we sat down - took 20 minutes before we even ordered, and then the waiter wasn't particularly helpful. Mains were ready 10 minutes before we finished our starters (mains were actually ready before our drinks were delivered).
I look forward to the day when we can just go back to ordering wings and a beer at the bar, and cut out the wait staff.
