   I took my wife out to Biff’s for Mother’s Day lunch. It was excellent! Our waiter Al was outstanding, the food was delicious and authentically French. We both shared steak tartare and had steak frites as a main course followed by creme brûlée and coffee. I’ve been at Biff’s Bistro about four times and it has always been very enjoyable. We do not live downtown so it is special for us to be there.

   Ours reservation was at 5:30 we ordered out appetizers and dinner by 5:45. Appetizers were good but our steak dinners did not come until 6:50 and I had told them we had tickets to a show and that’s why we had these earlier reservations. Our server kept changing the whole night. Finally when the steaks came they were over cooked and we had to eat them within 5 minutes so we could ask for the bill and leave for our show. It’s not a cheap restaurant and the food wasn’t cooked right and the server was barely around. Not a good experience. Very disappointing as I used to love this restaurant several years ago. I wouldn’t go back.

   Lovely south patio venue with table coverings that remind one of Provence. Excellent French onion soup , tuna Niçoise salad. Very attentive service.

   This is suvh a lovely experience for the third time in the past several months. The ambience, service, food are great and very well priced. Highly recommend.

    Always great service at Biff's and the food was equally as incredible. We opted for the dinner prix fixe, which provided great value and an opportunity to try a variety of items. My wife truly enjoyed our wedding anniversary. Our server Al, a veteran in the industry made us feel like old friends, even signing a personalized card for our special occasion.
