About
Excellent food and service. Strong drinks and great atmosphere.
Biba’s lived up to its reputation. Food was exciting and phenomenal and service outstanding. A wonderful celebration of our anniversary.
It is always a great experience but Beth our server was the BEST. Very efficient professional and helpful. We will request her again.

Our favorite place to celebrate!
Excellent food and service. It was quiet too even though the restaurant was full which I love so I can converse with my guests. I will definitely return!
Always a treat. Great service, great food, great wine list. Biba serves the classics with contemporary flourish, and she has for a long time. Andiamo mangiare!
The boar ragu was amazing and the huckleberry lemon drop!
Thanks for a great meal. Love the lasagna!
The food was very average this time. We got the veal, spaghetti and linguine with clams - all were not that great. The mushroom soup was a huge disappointment but the beet salad was great. Oh well, we miss Biba.
Beautiful, elegant restaurant. Very quiet. We were greeted when entering the establishment and led to our table. Our waiter was exceptional. Very pleasant and knowledgeable when asked questions of particular food and spirits. He made sure we were all well taken care of.
The appetizer, salads, soup and main meals were all absolutely delicious and very well proportioned. At the end of our meals we only had room for cappuccinos, so no dessert.
We were surprised that the total cost was reasonable, so we’ll be back to try other offers from their menu.
With the passing of Biba, we were worried about how good it would be without her. Very well indeed, is the answer. Food and service was excellent, despite some waiter glitch we did not understand. (Our waiter left, at about 7 on a Friday evening, apparently due to a family emergency) Person who replaced him was excellent. We have been waited on by her on prior visits.
Just one things missing: Biba strolling around the restaurant chatting with her guests. We hope her daughter(s) will continue that tradition.
Always excellent flavors at Biba! Your gnocchi was amazing! The desserts are incredible too!
Their version of lasagna is beyond boring. Calamari was tasty. Salads were tiny. Waiter forgot our side of roasted veggies. Maybe there are better dishes on the menu but all I can say at this point is this place is 'highly overrated'.
Excellent food, great service from Beth and the feel of Biba herself again. We will continue to come back.
George is our favorite waiter. He’s amazing, knowledgeable, and funny. Good was exquisite, beautifully presented, and delicious! Never disappointed with my experience at Biba!! So excited to know that my absolute favorite dish, the lasagna is now served four days a week rather than only two. That was fantastic news!!!
Great food cheerful service
Excellent and helpful service. High quality food. Many options options and good wine list.
Still a good meal however not the same as when Biba was alive. Meal did not "pop" as it used to. Average salad and the prized lasagna was somewhat bland and lasagna a bit mushy. Best was the great Manhattan and the service.
Will still go there however hoping they improve.
Our first real lunch date. The service from Jorge was outstanding. The food and ambiance were also outstanding.
Very loud unfortunately. And beet salad had no beet or goat cheese
Food was excellent as usual. Service was perfect attentive but not obtrusive. Very nice dinner.
Wonderful food, attentive staff and a very nice atmosphere.
Biba is, well, Biba. She is well-estsblished old-school restaurant of Sacramento. May I say “venerable?” The White walls and traditional ambiance made us harken back to so many business dinners there. No current trends, but not stodgy either just a very reliable favorite. Would I go back there? Only with a gift certificate or special occasion. Cheers Ms. Biba. We love you.
One of the best restaurants in Sacramento. For an appetizer I had the pasta of the day, lobster ravioli. The ravioli's and sauce were light a delicious. The main dish was sole with a lemony sauce. Delicious.
Reliably the most delicious restaurant in Sacramento for decades. Even if Biba has passed away her loyal staff carries on her legacy.
Lasagna now served on Wednesdays. Absolutely fantastic.
I’ve been wanting to come and eat here since before I moved to California. My mom and I were big fans of Biba and her cooking show in the 90s. My mother, a native of Sicily, learned so much about northern Italian cuisine from Biba, so we grew up eating her delicious food at home. Being Italian, I am very picky when it comes to Italian food outside of Italy, my moms house or my own. I was very impressed and loved how authentic the food was. The restaurant ambience was absolutely lovely! My husband and I had a great early Valentine’s Day celebration here and left with satisfied full tummies. I can’t wait to go back again!! If you’re going to get dessert get the Zuccotto Fiorentino! It was to die for!! Grazie, Biba!
The evening was very nice and enjoyable, food was excellent, but service was a bit slow between courses.
Our entrees were excellent--Branzino and Breast of Duck. The dessert was over the top (pound cake with chocolate mousse and covered with chocolate). The calamari was good except for being a little burnt on the edges. Our waitress was excellent. We will definitely return again and again.
Thank you for carrying on Biba's legacy.
Was a great before show quick dinner. They were very accommodating but I’d definitely schedule more time next time for a longer time there. Food was very yummy.
Great service, atmosphere, and delicious/authentic Italian food!
Amazing food. Great service. Relaxed and professional. Will go again!
The live piano music was great
The food is always outstanding and the service personnel are friendly and also very respectful. Even the valet service is wonderful!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience of dining at Biba!
Excellent food, great service, a pleasant surprise that we're glad we discovered.
Wonderful food and impeccable service.
The service was excellent - the server split the shared salad and the shared entree perfectly. The food was very good - we had the beet salad and it included the freshest, most delicious frisée I’ve ever had. The spaghetti carbonara was sublime. I loved the historic building that housed the restaurant.
What a wonderful place to visit. Every bite was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We had the ricotta gnocchi ragu with pork. It was a perfectly portioned serving. We also enjoyed calamari, radicchio salad with pears, pecorino, olive oil and balsamic. It was so tangy and light. I would definitely love to go back and sit in the piano bar and try something different next time in the near future. Do not leave that restaurant without ordering the tiramisu!
Our wait person was just wonderful, she was the best I have had in a very long time.
