It was ok. Pizzas were a bit bland and too salty. The fries came between the starter and main course - which vs was t great but we were hungry. Okay service. Fair food but quite expensive for what we got. Wouldn’t go back
The Service was nice. But They served me pizza bread as Focaccia. Focaccia is meant to be fluffy. Also the mushrooms I had was not fresh! It was from the can. I was very disappointed about the quality of the food. This place is too expensive for the poor quality! I don't recommend this restaurant at all.
We had the best time ever. The food was great, service- stunning and the atmosphere was incredible. I am delighted to say that the owner who is running that place is an incredible man and he has a great spirit 😉🥰😁
Proper tasty Italian pizza with friendly service With a smile
The waiter and waitresses were incredible but sadly the food was pretty bad.
Customer services second to none, a great entertainer front of house.
Lovely food and very friendly staff, good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Food was very poor quality the pizza we ordered the Capriciosa all ingredients weren’t fresh and seemed from a tin. I understand times are tough right now but for me that was I credibly poor. And the middle of the pizza was soggy and wet I’m guessing from what seemed the tinned ingredients.
Food was cold as had been heated from the freezer and had to be sent back, the pizza was bland. There were lots of tiny flies around the table. Lots of staff standing around but still have to ask and try and get someone’s attention every time you need something. Cocktails weren’t nice either. Overall I thought this was going to be amazing Italian food but it was very disappointing and wouldn’t go back.
Was very disappointed that there was a different menu for the ‘eat out to help out’ campaign. As I had decided on the mixed grill before I booked. There was hardly any meat choices. Once the restaurant started to get busier it became very noisy. Staff were pleasant and the food we ordered was nice.
Firstly I was not given a clean menu (provided to every guest), I was simply sat at the table and the big dude who showed me to my table did not explain that it's a QR code menu (where you take a picture of the code, and get the menu on your Smart Phone). I arrived before my friend, and not once was I asked if I wanted to order a drink first, even when I waved for the waitress's attention - she just nodded her head but didn't come over until minutes later. One waitress did not understand much English, my friend had to ask for ice twice which we didn't get, and on the third asking - the waitress apologised for not understanding. The big dude who I suspect is the boss / manager wasn't pleasant when we were deciding which bottle of wine to settle for, we of course wanted to taste first which he obviously didn't like, and even said 'the more you taste, the less you will be able to taste the flavour' however, we had only tested 2 different wines at that point so personally I felt he was rude.
This was a COVID-19 lockdown ease dinner which we were really looking forward to however, felt that it wasn't a hygienic experience. Our temperatures were not taken before entry (like other restaurants do), there was no hand sanitiser either upon entry or at the table, not even in the toilet (note that there is only 1 ladies toilet which was blocked, but customers were still allowed to use it), tables were wiped down between each seating but not the chairs, aircon was not great, or even on for most of the evening, we were sat upstairs next to the Gents / outside staircase, and could constantly smell cigarette smoke. I felt grubby by the end of the meal, on top of all of that the head waitress decided to put a tip on top of the bill without us realising,I said to divide the bill equally-she rounded it up before dividing so made 0.75p tip from each of us (which isn't much but that is not the point), I thought it was cheeky, but only realised when I looked at the receipt properly.
Really lovely waiting staff. Starters awesome, 2 out of 3 mains were not good at all. One cold and one covered in oil. Resturant dealt with it well and didn't charge for the dishes and added a discount. It was a shame but we assumed it was due to a staffing issue in the kitchen.
We had a small issue with our drinks order, which was rectified promptly and efficiently. Excellent service and delicious food. Thanks for a lovely evening!
Excellent food with the best service! Thank you
A little disappointed this time, as they didn't have the wine we like, but on the whole, an enjoyable evening.
I live nearby and have been here several times, would definitely recommend this place for really nice Italian food
Incredibly friendly staff - always making us smile.
Food is delicious and proper authentic Italian. Highly recommend the Tiramisu!
Only negative is the tables are a little close together.. but it would depend on who’s sitting on the table next you?
Lovely food and amazing service. Went to Bianco43 for our birthdays/Valentine's day and we were amazed with our experience, can't believe we haven't been here before.
I live locally and really like Bianco43, I've been a number of times now, it's certainly one of the nicest Italian's locally
Can’t say enough good things about this place! So fun, great service, small place but very cozy and you feel like you’re a part of the place.
It used to be my fav italian restaurant in the area. Now the quality of food is the poorest, near catering level. The risotto rice was watery, and it looked more like a rice soup than a risotto, complete lack of creamy texture and cheese. The burrata salad was not great either. Presentation was poor and the tomatoes were big tomatoes cut small rather than proper piccolo tomatoes. The mushroom toasties same, bad presentation and it was cold. Would def not recommend
Having pre-booked a week in advance, with a request to be seated downstairs due to us bringing a toddler, I arrived to the surprise of the the staff member sounding bemused or surprised that I had a booking at the time of arrival.
This meant a table wasn’t ready for us, nor was a high chair prepared for a reserved table.
We had to wait a bit for one to be prepared downstairs for us, but then again I had to request a high chair, even though it was obvious I was with a toddler. Unfortunately however, the one and only high chair available at the time couldn’t be locked, which meant I had no choice but to sit my kid in it unsecured.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the space for families with kids as the downstairs area is very small and congested, with no or little space for buggies, unless you chose to Cary your kids and buggies upstairs via the stairs - the only way up.
I had been here a few times and highly enjoyed going there but my last visit was a turn off. It was a bit chaotic and a bit loud at times.
Pizzas were absolutely delicious and the service was very good. Will 100% be back.
Very Authentic Italian supper, trattoria-style. Filled with Italian friends and family of the Branco 43 team - a far, and well welcomed, departure from the ubiquitous Faux-Italian chains up and down the high street, this cosy dining experience will appeal to those who have explored the off the beaten track treasures of Rome’s delightful casual dining scene...
We went to this restaurant for our new year eve, we waited 20 mins for our table and then an hour for our starters. Was very unimpressed, the waiter felt bad so gave us a discount but will not be returning.
We loved it! Great atmosphere. Amazing food, like being back in Italy
Tasty food, friendly and delightful server. Space is a little tight and they forgot to bring me a side dish I ordered, but I didn't need it in the end, as the vegan calzone I had was extremely tasty and filling.
Will go back.
We love the place and the ambience but the food was really disappointing. The lasagne was very tomatoey....and it hardly had any meat. The sea bass had a very odd crust and the fish was therefore tasteless.
Service however was good.
Lovely, proper Italian food and the wine in particular, was excellent (a Pinot Grigio and organic Nero D'avola) .
The only reason this place doesn't get an Excellent across the board is that we booked for 12:00 Noon and they weren't able to let us in 'til 5 past and then seemed a bit confused as to why we'd possibly want to - timings are important when you have a hungry toddler and restless new born!
The maitre'd also seemed pretty disinterested and only warmed up at the end of our meal - although the waitress we had was lovely.
Generally speaking though a lovely Italian and I would recommend to anyone in the area.
The food was great but the service although friendly was terrible. Had to ask on multiple occasions for everything. The meal in total took 2.5hrs! The only thing that did come quickly was the bill of which we resented paying the 12.5% service charge they automatically added. One starter was still frozen inside. The additonals asked for never came. In short nice food but be prepared to ask a thousand times for things like water and cutlery!
Disappointing food - very expensive for the (poor) quality
I'm a regular client and as always the experience was perfect!
Great food, great service. One of our favourite italians in the area
Well, I have booked a table for 7 people and have added my comment that we are coming with new born baby and there will be a baby buggy, so we need space for buggy next to the table.
First arrived me and my hubby, staff was surprised when I said about my comment and baby buggy.
Finally we were placed on the first floor where is not really lot of space so we had to moved tables but in the same time we have blocked entrance to gents toilet so each time if someone was going to toilet I had to move my chair.
We have made order with hubby for a drinks as we arrived first before our guests. My husband drink came after half an hour without my drink. In the same time our guests arrived with baby buggy. Guys took a buggy up the stairs. I have asked waiter where is my drink as I ordered beer for hubby and wine for myself and only beer was brought. I was told it will come when my guests place drink order. I said no, I am waiting half an hour and I want my drink now, not later with other orders. Also music was very laud, we couldn't speak, we were screaming to each other, so we have asked a waiter to turn it a bit as a speaker was just straight above our table.
We choose this restaurant because they had risotto in menu. When we were placing the food order we were told there is no risotto any longer but is not removed from menu. I was very disappointed.
Finally we had to order pizzas, our order was mixed a bit, my sister was waiting the longest as ingredients on her pizza were wrong .
So, I don't recommend this restaurant.
A lively fun evening in Great environment. Pizza much more superior than elsewhere. Worth the money.
Delicious pizzas and really good service. Definitely will be visiting again.
Food was super, everyone very pleased. The decor is also very tasteful. The concierge - unsure of exact position - was quite irritating and did not recognise that we were not enjoying his attitude and humour, though that would be the only negative
Service was good all staff very nice, food was good but far too small portions for the price. Very cold where we were sat at top of the stairs would have prefered an obviously better table that were visibly free as we were seated. Would definitely try again but would not recommend to a friend.
Really great family meal out !
We were a group of 8 and arrived on time at 7:30. We had literally just finished eating that they had brought the bill to the table, without even asking! We were then told they had another group of 8 coming and we had to leave. We asked for the dessert but they told us it was too late and only managed to order 1 and eat it in a rush (less than 3 minutes). They did offer a limoncello free for each one of us trying to be nice, but we felt really uncomfortable and annoyed about being kicked out after about 1 hour and 15mins! They actually made us a deal “we’ll give you free limoncello if you leave in less than 10mins” TRULY DISAPPOINTING! The same happened to a table close to us. Guys, next time plan the number of customers better: Better have few happy customers than lots of annoyed ones just to make more money!
