Here at Hot Tuna, our food is 5-star, but our dress code is surfer chic. Hot Tuna is a member of the Farm-to-Fork Movement; our menu features what is fresh, in-season and local. Eastern Shore seafood and produce from our local farms are staples, and our menu runs the gamut, from the freshest Ahi tuna to gourmet gouda burgers. Our bartenders are as adventurous as our chefs, providing you with hand-muddled mojitos, homemade sangria and organic margaritas. We hope you enjoy your dining experience with us!

We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. Our server was amazing, made sure we had drink refills and asked if anyone needed anything. Will be sure to come again definitely would be even better if there were soft shell crab and keylime pie on the menu.

Once again this restaurant far exceeded my high expectations. The Host began by warmly greeting me and by surprising me in this Special Occasion by allowing me to choose the table of my choice. I choose a table next to a window in the main dining room where the sun wasn't covering. My server Alyson was wonderful taking my order and following-up at the appropriate times. The food was amazing. This restaurant has the largest and juiciest Lobster Tails in the Valley as well as the most tender Filet Mignons.The Fried Calamari appetizer was also up to par and the sauces served with it made it even better. The attention to detail of the Manager on Duty, Garrett, to visit my table to genuinely greet me and thank me for coming is something reserved for the very best restaurants in the industry. The Keylime Pie was sweet and the Grand Finale of the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for those special occasions when you want the very best.

Hardshell Downtown Cary Street location is my go to place. You will usually find me there every Friday by 5 pm, outside if the weather permits on inside at my favorite table by the window overlooking Cary Street. You may also find me there on Sunday mornings. The food is always consistent and good. I love the specials and especially Halibut nights:). The servers know me well and protect me with my food allergies...thank you so much. I am also given extra limes for my drinks which makes this very special. Finding a place that is consistent in service and food is a real gift and Hardshell does not that for me and my guest. Last evening I invited 7 others to join me and we had a delightful time and the servers, chef's and bartender, made it a special evening for all. Thanks to Hardshell my go to!!!!!
