Multiple reservations booked on the same night to form a group larger than six guests are not permitted and will be canceled. Reservations for parties of one to four guests are allotted 2 hours. This was our second visit to L'Opossum. It is a relatively small restaurant, very popular, and usually busy. The food is phenomenal, creative, and perfectly plated. Service is excellent. I had the chilled corn soup with saffron and blue crab. The hubs had the Faberge Egg appetizer: hard boiled egg, dyed pink with beets, topped with lobster and caviar! Both sensational. For our mains, he had the filet mignon, yum. I devoured the Atlantic Char served on a latke made with parsnips instead of potato! So delicious. The flan for dessert was fabulous, and I'm a flan junkie. I will say it is quite loud. The music playing, to me, was annoying. I recognized about 3 songs; but the rest were just unneeded noise. But, that is just me, I'm old. We will definitely return. When you make a reservation, which is a must; request a booth. You will love it.

We had a wonderful weekday lunch at Stella's on Monday. Our orders of Stella's Garden sandwich and the Crabcak sandwich were both well presented and delicious. Most notable was our table service at one of the outside tables. Hannah was an exceptional server in every respect. She was knowledgeable, welcoming and uncommonly pleasant. We noticed that other diners at tables nearby received the same high level of personal service from Hannah. We had an exceptional overall experience on a beautiful Spring day.

A totally unique concept - a restaurant in a mid-century modern style furniture store. Beautiful spring day, so we had cocktails on the patio to start. Then, inside, our party of four enjoyed a delicious meal. Outstanding breads, shrimp canapés, fried oysters, perfectly matched with spreads and sauces. Dinner was also outstanding- steak, chicken and pasta all expertly prepared. The Virginia wines were on special- including a very fine white from Charlottesville. The service was attentive to say the least. All in all a great meal! We will be back.

Italian inspired cuisine in a charming and beautiful country setting with outdoor dining all summer and a covered heated tent in the winter. Our stone terrace with large fireplace nestled between aromatic herb and flower gardens makes for a beautiful setting year around.

Upon booking, please select either an indoor or outdoor table. "Standard" refers to an indoor table. If an outdoor table is not listed, the patio may be booked at that time. Please call us directly if your preference is not listed.

Our tent is down for the summer! Tables on the patio are covered by umbrellas for protection from sun and in the case of rain. In the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate outdoor bookings indoors based on availability.

Take out from 4:30pm to 8:00pm daily and can be ordered by calling us at (804) 741-4800.

We are unable to accomadate parties of more than 6. We are unable to separate parties into multiple tables.
