The food at Deuxave is very good. We had the halibut and arctic char - both were well prepared. The wine list is endless - and mostly expensive. Service was good but there were significant gaps in time (they had the wine bottle off table and didn’t come by to fill it until our glasses had been empty a while. Taking our order was also a leisurely process - but dinner shouldn’t be a rush, and it wasn’t). The sherbets and coffee were a good dessert. We’ve been before and we’d likely go again -

Overall we had a good experience at BASILE. The atmosphere was great and so was the food. The one thing that we were slightly disappointed with was the service. There were only about 3-4 other parties dining at the same time as us, and our waiter was not very attentive. We never got water refills and our drink menu was taken away. When we asked to have it back, he never brought it back, and we had to ask another server. The food itself was great. We both got the surf and turf. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster tail was great as well, although very salty.
