crab cakes and salad were very fresh. Bone-in filet and pork chops were flavorful and tender. Johnson was an excellent server.

Food and service was great as expected. The experience was ruined when we found out we had to pay for parking. After spending $400 on dinner, having to pay for parking as well was a shock. I expected to tip the valet staff, but to also pay for parking was extremely disappointing.

About the restaurant
Paul Friedman is a Master Chef with over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry,having owned and operated over 50 successful restaurant concepts in South Africa, Germany, and the U.S. Paul began his career as a manager and worked his way up to franchise owner, then Director of Operations.
He opened Paul's Pizza Shops - a nationally recognized pizza concept in Northwest Houston, Texas in 1994.
Paul later developed a new concept, becoming the Executive Chef, CEO and partner at Peli Peli - a nationally recognized South African Fusion Restaurant which opened in 2009 in Houston, Texas. Having retired from Pelipeli in 2018 he has returned to his original location at Vintage Park with his latest concept The Chefs Table.
Chef Friedman says this is by far my best creation yet and I hope to leave a legacy here for my children and grandchildren to be proud of.

Our wait service was excellent. The restaurant is truly one of our favorites. Prices have risen over the years but the quality of food is not compromised. We chose a wedge salad (each) and the Seafood Plateau. Awesome

The service and the setting were exceptional. Unfortunately, the quality of the ribeye steaks we ordered (cooked to a perfect medium rare) was not as high as I would have liked. I don't know if they were rated as Prime, but they seemed more like Choice or less to me. Flavor was fine, but it just wasn't as tender or juicy as I would have liked. Again, service was fantastic.

Killen’s Steakhouse enforces a strict business casual dress code. We do not allow beachwear, cut off shorts, flip flops, gym attire including sweatpants, sweatshirts or hoodies. Athletic apparel, jerseys, hats, beanies, bandanas, ball caps, oversized or baggy clothing, tank tops, and sleeveless shirts are prohibited. No excessively revealing clothing will be allowed.

Certified Executive Chef Ronnie Killen has returned to his home town after training at Le Cordon Bleu and honing his culinary skills throughout the U.S. Our hand-cut steaks are cooked to perfection on a state of the art infrared broiling system that seals in the natural juices of the steak, creating a one of a kind “melt in your mouth” experience. All of our food is prepared fresh daily, using only the finest produce and freshest ingredients. Even our sinfully rich desserts are homemade and the only thing frozen in our kitchen is the ice cream! Come in and see what the whole country is talking about!

I was celebrating a Birthday and Killen's provided the birthday girl with a card and complimentary candlelit piece of cake. The service and food were excellent. The ambiance was GREAT. The price was pricey but definitely worth it.
