   The main dish I ordered - seafood in parchment paper (flounder, scallops, and shrimp) with spinach and pasta - was absolutely scrumptious. And as usual, the she-crab soup was the best. With meals like that, Berret's will soon be known as one of Williamsburg's very best restaurants (if it isn't already).

   Always happy with the food and service at Berret's ... happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner. And yes ... they do have some things on the menu that are not seafood.

   Had a great meal at Berret’s Friday night. Justin, our waiter, did a great job, especially considering that he had a table of ten with separate checks at the next table. Dollar oysters, great salmon, local beer all made for a wonderful experience.

    Came here for my husbands birthday. Started with oysters and crab dip. We had the Salmon and Chicken for the entree follow by the cookies n cream cheesecake with a side of ice cream. It was all superb. Our waiter was quick and efficient and it was a lovely dinner. We will be back!

    Server was not attentive, forgot to bring things that were asked for one and two times. Filet was not cooked as ordered, grilled shrimp were served raw. We mentioned to server and said we didn’t want additional shrimp but they were brought out anyways, also raw. parchment meal was delicious, oysters were phenomenal and dessert skillet was amazing. Better server would have improved the experience. took 2 hours to have dinner at 430pm and not busy at all.

    Enjoyed my birthday lunch of seared crab cakes with asparagus and 3cheese grits. My hubby had the grouper fish and chips which he loved. Wish they had more choices for sparking btg or half bottles even. Will be back for sure

    Food is great. Solid seafood fare. My protein is always good. But today I had a gumbo on the shrimp and grits, and it really added a dimension of flavor to the dish that made it exceptional.

    Every course - she-crab soup, mixed seafood entree, and Irish Cream cheesecake - that I had was delicious. Service was gracious and attentive. It was my first time at this venue, and I would definitely return.
