    We were frequent guests of Berret's when we lived in Ford's Colony. Having moved away, we don't visit Williamsburg nearly as much, but it was so nice to go to lunch and have it be just as tasty and enjoyable.

    Service wasn’t great. Waiter never checked back, didn’t clear dishes until he needed the space to give us the next dish. He spent about 10 minutes chatting with the table next to us while we sat with dirty dishes that needed to be cleared and so we waited until he finished so that we could get our bill. Tables inside are too close together so we got to hear everyone’s conversations. Food was okay but not worth a second visit.

    Great food, service, and atmosphere. Drove to/from Wake Forest, NC just for lunch. We have been doing this multiple times a year.

    David,our server, provided expert daily menu special guidance to set the tone. Started with Oysters Rockefeller and riesling wine. Each of us ordered a different seafood lunch. Finished with a California Pinot Noir and creme brulee.

    Went on Monday June 23rd in town to celebrate my sons 12th birthday and couldnt have been happier with the service and food! They treated my son as a young adult and was amazing!!! forgot the servers name but she was wonderful.
