    Cook burned his hand on the grille and continued working on the same cooking surface with no cleaning or anything. Very unsanitary.

    The place was understaffed, our waitress was taking orders and bussing tables. The floors were filthy no cleaning was done in between sittings. It was extremely noisy and felt very chaotic.

    Our chef was amazing, however out server was awful! We waited more than 30 minutes for our drinks. She then disappeared, and we had to track her down to get refills. I never received the second glass of wine I ordered. Took over an hour to get soup out. She was truly awful! Then at the end of the evening, when we tipped her $10 (she's luck she got a tip at all , she was that bad) she was angry, muttering, dumped a pile of dishes on the floor and then left. We ended up packaging our own leftovers and went on our way. Truly aweful experience for my nephews high school graduation celebration.

    I acknowledge dinner with for a birthday and there was no mention of a birthday. On the menu, they had a 6 course meal and only received 3 courses, the waitstaff only on the table and the beginning and near the end, the waitstaff forgot the rice with dinner, the dessert course, the tea.

    Poor Benihana continues to slide. Each visit gets worse and worse. The carpets in our grill room were filthy and stinky. All I could smell was stinky carpet. Both 12-person grills were sat almost at the exact same time, so the waitress couldn’t get around to service us properly or collect our plates. The sauces weren’t served until the end of the meal, which I think is in reverse since most people nibble as they’re served. Some of my shrimp still had tails on, just a couple, so I had to inspect everything first. No tea offered. No dessert offered (even though most of our meals had it included). And you really need to put napkins under the glasses. They sweat by the grill and then you get drops on your shirt every time you take a drink. Then there was a large disagreement with management and another table because they had been seated around the same time as us, but after 90 minutes they were still waiting for a chef (or a chef that they requested, who I think was handling our party), so they left in a loud huff and complained about having to pay anything at all. Also, you changed the lighting to a horrible daylight bulb. Everything is a bright white hue. Bring back the warm light.

    We were served salad and soup together. Our waitress didn’t get all of our order correct, nor were we offered another drink. Dinner was over in a hour. The food was delicious and our cook did a great job. But for the prices on the menu I expect better service and not to be rushed.
