Bienvenue chez Benihana, où vous vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres ! Installés autour d'une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous présentera ses talents dans l'art ancien du Teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue ! Il ne vous restera qu'à faire votre choix parmi la diversité de savoureux mets qui vous sont proposés (bœuf, poulet ou fruits de mer) et à vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail signature. Benihana Troy est situé sur Big Beaver Road, entre Crooks Road et Coolidge Highway, près de la Somerset Collection et du Somerset Park Golf Course. L'entrée et le stationnement sont situés à l'arrière du bâtiment. Des frais de service de 18% sont ajoutés à toute facture pour les groupes de huit personnes ou plus. Les réservations ne sont disponibles que dans la zone du teppan (salle à manger principale). Unfortunately our service was less than top-notch due to other parties that seemed to be dissatisfied with their service/food and consuming our servers time/attention. Also, after sitting for approximately 30+ minutes before getting our drinks from the bar, we finally got up and were able to get them ourselves due to our server not having the time to deliver them (and evidently the bar was backed up) to our table. Once the chef came to our table to start cooking (45 minutes into our arrival time), he noticed that our cooktop had not been turned on for the day, so we had to wait another 10+ minutes for that to heat up before he could even start cooking. We were seated at the table for over an hour before our food was even started to be cooked, never once did a manager come around to apologize or ask how things were going. There seemed to be a lot of people complaining just about everything, and while our food was fantastic and our server was okay, we were disappointed that the birthday celebration we were there for was ruined by all the negativity around us. This was not the same Benihana we had been to many year ago, and to say we were disappointed is an understatement - needless to say, we will stick to the hibachi restaurants closer to home

Best waitress, so nice! Older Japanese lady in lounge area, treated us like an indulgent mom & really took great care of us. First time to the Troy location. It's the only Benihana we'll want to go to now!

We sat and waited way too long to the point where the grill was too hot and damn near smoked us out. The chef was ok but very messy. We never got our white rice for my daughter. We waited ANOTHER 30 mins for the waitress to bring the bill. It was definitely not the best experience.

I could see that they were shorthanded. However, you need to make sure you let your guest know that you’re shorthanded and let your guest know to just be patient. The waitresses need to come back to the table more often to check on the customer to make sure that everything is OK.

The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. We enjoyed every bite! The service was good overall; the staff was friendly and attentive, though we were disappointed that the included ice cream dessert wasn’t available due to freezer issues. It would’ve been nice to be informed earlier or offered an alternative, but it didn’t overshadow the great meal and otherwise solid experience. We’d still return and hope the freezer is fixed next time!

This is normally a great fun place to eat, but last Sunday the nicest thing I can say was that it was controlled chaos, and so noisy that conversation was very difficult.
