    Hour and a half behind reservation. Went to question them and lady with white hair who was smoking told me I could leave. Totally bad customer service. Talked to several employees and all said she does not belong in the food service industry

    I would never come back to this place. I made 730 pm reservation, upon arriving i was told they were behind about 45 min for reservations. We understand and decided to wait cause we were celebrating my 6 year old birthday. After being seated around 840 pm they took our order and we waited. It was 930 and no chef has came out to our table yet. We spoke to 1 male manager which said he will get someone to our table asap. Its 10 pm now so we asked to talk to manager again and they stated he did not want to talk to us. This is the worst experience we ever had. They didn't even bring our kids food out until we had to ask them multiple times.

    We had a 7:00pm reservation, didn't get seated toll over minutes later, took the best part of an hour to see the chief, then had to wait again because the grill was never lit to warm up prior to his arrival. The property had little parking, had to park several hundred feet away (they n had their own signs they posted at other parking lots saying "No Benihana Parking" saw some of the staff putting the signs away around 10:00pm through the window). Also the building and grounds in general need attention, generally rundown. Once upon a time, all the chief's were all trained in Japan before they could be allowed to work in the restaurants, apparently not anymore. Not to say they weren't doing a good job, just not what it once was.

    Absolutely disorganized and mismanaged. Aside from waiting for 1.5 hours after appetizers and only AFTER asking when we would see a chef, were we seen by the manager, who dismissed our concerns. Multiple tables left that evening before eating - All of this could have been handled more professionally and curiously. No apologies, no heads up, no choices. Late drinks, terrible flavorless soup (seaweed), wilted salad. We were really looking forward to this experience, but instead got treated like we were at Disneyland and next in line.....maybe. For the price they charge for the food/experience, absolutely not okay. Stay home and cook or go for some authentic street food out at the beach. What we experienced was very disappointing, tons of people just standing around waiting for someone to direct things and oblivious to what they were about to get themselves into as we left. Not fair to them, not fair to us. Terrible management with no common sense - Don't eat here!

    My oldest son had taken me to celebrate my Birthday along with his grandpa and cousin! Beautiful times with yummy food and the chef was excellent!

    Food very good chef very good waiter service attentive. But restaurant overbooks and can’t honor reservations on time. Either need to enforce maximum table time or take less reservations

    Great restaurant to celebrate a birthday. From kids to seniors, everyone enjoyed the experience. Everyone ordered a different dinner menu item and everyone was happy with their selection. We appreciate the way the chef customized each order(no salt, extra spicy, no seafood, well done, medium rare, etc etc). We also appreciated that they kept our cake that we brought with us in their refrigerator while we ate our meal. Only drawback was that we made a mistake by not reading our birthday offer close enough, it wasn’t good on Fridays :-(

    Had reservations for 7:30 .. got seated around 8:20 .. was told they were a bit short of chefs and that it would take about an hour before the chef came to cook to our table .. 10pm still no chef , no food , and couldn’t tell us how much longer it would take .. our server was great it wasn’t her fault .. it’s management’s fault .. ended up getting our stuff and left .. worst part we were there to celebrate our twins birthday .. absolutely horrible !!

    We had a reservation at 7:15 we didnt get seated until 7:40 which could be understandable but we got order taken a didn’t t get served and chef arrived until after 9:40. Not only that but seed that he was in a rush. I understand i asked for mid. rare filet mignon but serving it on my plate with uncooked butter i don’t think was the most appropriate at least I didn’t appreciate it. Lost my 2 reservations we had after at the movies.
