   Ordered expensive wagu hibachi medium rare. Cooked less than raw. Literally had cold ice still in meat. Terrible. Another person at table that ordered sauce for tuna which cook completely spilled all over grill and did not replace for customer. Ordered white steamed rice but received fried rice. Cook seemed partial to certain induviduals in giving extra portions. Overall cook seemed less than enthused to be part of the experience. The only extra thing cook did was the onion volcano which he did only 3 onions with large ones on tip (weird). Maybe he was a new cook. Definitely will not come back to this location. I've been to Beni Hana multiple times and this was the absolutely worst experience. Very unfortunate.

   Jeff was wonderful and the food was good. However, I highly recommend that you double check your billing and ask for a receipt confirming everything. The other groups card failed and she processed their bill on my card. They called me because they had my phone # from the reservation, saying I needed to drive back and pay my bill. I checked my account and I was in fact charged and a payment processed. So it was the other groups card that didn’t process. I called corporate and they said they would take care of it. I’ll know in a few days. Not fun when you’re on vacation.

   We were visiting from MA. It was great until it was super busy and I feel like the waitress was just given too many tables. For a Tuesday night… it’s FL. Proper staffing is a real thing. It’s a tourist town. Every day should be like a weekend staff plan. It delayed paying and drinks were not getting refilled.

   We were expecting to be wowed with the chefs show and or/food. The chef came and cooked and the only “show“ he did was a volcano at the end. The communication to order a sushi roll was difficult. The food was OK. Overall, it was a disappointing meal.

   The food was absolutely amazing! Delicious and fresh food and our chef really took care to make sure our orders were correct. The issues we had with our visit to Benihana came from the service overall. We had a 7:30 reservation but weren’t sat till about 7:55 from how backed up they were. Then once we sat, our service was especially slow since the waiter was being trained due to being new. I totally understand having to be trained but that should be done on a night that isn’t so busy the way Fridays and Saturdays are.
