We drove all the way from Greenbrier AR to eat here on a Friday night for my birthday. We usually go to Conway for sushi and recently the restaurants there have been very disappointing. This was every bit worth the drive, the food was amazing, and we walked away with leftovers to eat for both lunch a be dinner today (so much food) they added chicken to the fried rice which is different to what we are used to, David took great care of myself, my hubby and my two kiddos and we all had a blast! We will definitely be back on the next birthday or celebration we have!
We were skipped over twice.. even having a reservation. My party and another party at the table waited 15-30 minutes without being greeted. The cook was AMAZING .. everyone else.. not soo much!
The cooks were short staffed and we had to wait over an hour for a cook.
Small portions, bland food, slow service, and long wait time for chefs. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I went last Sunday for a girls night out and yesterday for a date night. I enjoyed myself! People were on dates, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. There was so much happiness in the air and I’ve needed that in the midst of everything going on in the world today. I recommend the Trio or Emperor Feast.
The overall experience was fair at best. To start out, our cook was not interested in entertaining at all. He did not engage the table as with other cooks. He seemed a little lost as to the cooking as well. He had one person who had steak and lobster, everyone else had chicken and shrimp so the majority of the table should have been served there protein together, but he cooked the shrimp first and then chicken last. He did not ask if anyone was celebrating anything special or not. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary which I told the waiter upon arrival and we had two person come by and sing as they were cleaning off the table preparing for the next group. We all ordered specialty drinks (Benihana punch) and half the people got their drinks (late) and I had to ask about my punch. Very few people waiting on tables so you had to just about trip someone running by your table for service. In addition, the menu has been condensed to chicken, stake, lobster and shrimp; no scallops. This is my fourth trip to Benihana’s and by far the worst yet.

Made reservations for 1:00 and didn’t get seated until 1:35 and hibachi started at 1:50 very unacceptable!
Set a reservation for 12pm, didnt get seated until 1220.

We were seated at around 7:30pm and we didn't get a chef til over an hour after we were seated. The other people sitting at the table with us voiced their displeasure and the assistant manager told them that should could've just let them sit in the waiting area and I thought that was very unprofessional of her. One lady kept telling the chef that he was putting the wrong food on her plate but he wouldn't listen to her and finally the waiter got it corrected. I also didn't like the fact that when I told the assistant manager I had a birthday discount that was on its last day of use she made me show her the date as if I was lying to her! We didn't know the others at the table with us but we share their displeasure with this visit.

The food was very good as always. Even though we had reservations and were seated quickly, it filled up and became quite noisy but that’s to be expected due to the grill placement and seating. Our server had some problems with our drink and appetizer order but it all worked out. Unfortunately, the family seated next us at our grill did a dine and dash, not paying for their meal. It kind of put a damper on our evening.
I love coming here. We'll be back very soon. And the service was wonderful.

Love this place, took our cook even had some new tricks while cooking, highly recommended to those who want great food and have fun in a relaxing atmosphere
Waiter was extremely busy waited a decent amount of time for a water refill then for a cup of ice. He may have been new he tried his hardest. Cook seemed unhappy to be there but the food was delicious.
The cook needs to pay more attention to the orders I ordered extra rice and he gave my extra rice away to another party

We arrived on time for our reservation; waited 35 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we noticed small pieces of broken glass on the Tepanyaki grill... imagine our food being prepared if not for one of the other diners noticing. We were moved to another table and waited, yet another 30-40 minutes before the chef finally appeared. He was very limited with conversational English; however, very cordial. The other two couples were typical Southern Rednecks, absolutely no table manners! One of the men kept rasping his throat as if he were about to spit, it only confirmed my feelings of most people in the South. We absolutely love Benihana; however, this was our first and last time to patronage this establishment in Little Rock, AR. Overall, I rate them 2.5 stars... I'm being generous.

The food was outstanding. However the hostess forgot we were there and gave our table to someone else! We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We had a really bad experience with service the last time we were here as well. However both times the food was outstanding. David is by far the best chef to have.

There was some confusion about our order. Somehow, our request for no onions in the vegetables for both of us, got turned into onion allergies for my order, but onions included for my girlfriend. The onion allergy thing ended up with the chief cooking my entire order first, before all the other customers. That really disrupted the flow of the meal for all of us. The waitress salvaged by girlfriend's no onion vegetable order by getting it cooked at another table for her. That was a plus. The cook seemed very distracted for some reason. He kept looking over at another table numerous times.

Service was magnificent. Karen the waitress was real vibrant and funny, love her to death. Will definitely be coming back again!!

Had a reservation for 8pm but a chef didn’t come out till an hour later.
Service was the worse I have experienced in a long time anywhere. Our waiter never came back to our table after giving us our soup and salad so we had to flag down a manager to get refills. The food was good as usual but I noticed a lack of waiters for the number of patrons in the restaurant.
Excellent food, with a great show of preparing our food at the table. Sitting at the hibachi is good fun for smaller parties in my opinion, but they may not be the best option for large parties as it can be hard to hear over all the noise if everyone wants to talk with each other.
My previous visit was disappointing, but David prepared our food this visit and it was excellent!! We will be back!
