   Overall OK, no longer worth the continously increasing price for smaller portions. Server was great, show/chef was lackluster. Not the Benihana we remember. We were served regular steak sirloin when filet was ordered, chef argued that it was, even though we saw the filet be cooked separately and served to someone else.

   Restaurant is starting to look run down. There were dings in the wall from chair and appeared to be artwork missing from the walls. Staff if friendly and helpful. The show performed by the chef was great! Food tasted good and was a good quality.

   My experience was paying $498.00 for a meal that I had to keep my feet on napkins cause no one ever came to mop the floor in which my waitress dropped my drink glass as SHE was handing it to me. End result: soaked bottom part of pantsuits I had to sit sideways to eat my pants legs were soaked and my feet were drenched from the spill leaving the floor wet. No manager was called, no compensation for my cloths which now must go to the cleaners and no discount on the meal which was $498. Reservations under Del Gates May 14, 2023. Very disappointed!

    We had someone at our table with a seafood allergy. Staff had no idea how to handle it. Our server was very flustered and clearly overworked or brand new. Couldn't understand a word our cook said to us, but he was pleasant and enjoyable. Ordered alcoholic drinks, and am almost 100% sure one of them had zero alcohol in it. Only saw the server once after being seated. For the price tag, I would hope for better service.

    My partner and I frequent this location at least once every other month but mainly for takeout. We dined in before and had a great experience. We decided to dine in last night (and hour before close- key part) as the food is 5x better when you eat there vs taking it to-go. Unfortunately I wish we would've taken it to go, or dined in elsewhere. We were seated right away, and were told another couple was joining our table. After about 20 min the other couple didnt show up; they then took our order. The chef came over, realized the grill wasn't heating up, turned it on and came back 10min later. The food was delicious & the chef was great...the waitress was to...at first. The issue is that the waitress brought our check & to go boxes at the same time the food was done; which felt like "hurry up, eat and leave". We understood they were closing soon and didn't want the staff there any later than they had to be. We were on time for our 9pm reservation and were ready before they were, yet we were being rushed. Our food was done by 9:45/9:50. We ate as fast as we could. The waitress and cleaning crew continuously starred at us waiting for us to get up leave. I waived at one of them as I wanted a smaller to go box than the one previously given. Our waitress came back with the to go box in one hand, and her keys in her other hand and now in her outside clothes instead of work uniform. She went to say "by the way I wasn't rushing you guys or anything" but clearly was. If they want customers out by 10pm they shouldn't have reservations available after a certain time. I manage a retail store and would never make the last customers of the day feel rushed to leave or give them a crappier service because its the end of day and I want to go home. They took tipping away and now add a 20% surcharge...I wouldn't have left a 20% tip for that kind of service. I will go to a different restaurant or make it at home for half the price and 0% rush and attitude.

    During my birthday dinner, my excitement was high as we eagerly anticipated a wonderful experience. However, the reality fell short of our expectations. Unfortunately, we did not receive the silverware and chopsticks that we were expecting, and there were no special treats to enhance the occasion. On a positive note, the food itself was enjoyable and satisfying.

    The waitress was amazing; the chef could have used more experience, not as exciting as in the past but he did a good job, and the food was very good. The prices are way too high and the 20% service fee (not all going to the waitress) is ridiculous! We had a good time, but it will be a while before we return (because of the costs)

    The service was poor, the server was unapologetic, wanted no accountability what so ever, made excuses, and copped an attitude when deficiencies were brought to his attention. The manager was impatient, rushed the issues by not listening and just tried to talk over us. She did not take the time to soothe the situation what so ever. She threw a little discount at us like that would solve the problem. Our drinks and appetizers did not come on time, were incomplete, or flat out missing. When we tried to get food items removed that were brought out incorrect we were basically told to pay for them or get a discount but we couldn’t have both options. I’d say over it was a 2 but the food was delicious. Too bad the service didn’t match the food.

    The food is delicious, very entertaining when the chef is cooking it on the grill, making the silly jokes while managing the grill. Very generous with the yumyum sauce & the food. It was a fund lunch!

    This was all about understaffing…. Our waiter did the best he could considering….energetic and friendly attitude. Didn’t get 1st n 2nd coursed cleared away…. Didn’t get white rice until the end after indicating we would like to eat it during dinner. My seafood was over cooked…. My sons noodle dish had too much sauce. Refills on water were nonexistent until the end.

    When we arrived it took over 30 minutes for us to order any food as well as over 20 min to get our Bill at the end. It was not %20 tip worthy service that the service fee charged us. It was a lack luster birthday experience.

    When I first got to the restaurant, the hostess was great. I went to the bar to order a glass of house, wine and one drink that was nine dollars. I closed out right away because I knew our table would be ready shortly. The bill came to $40 and they automatically up charged me for the most expensive glass of wine and added six dollar service fee in addition to taxes. I thought wow that was awfully expensive for not being at an upscale ritzy restaurant, and frustrated that they just put the up charge wine, but thought whatever. Then we moved onto our hibachi dinner, and the chef was great and I saw the server running and working very hard. We ordered our food and the food was good but my kids continuously asked for water and never received one. When it came time to pay the bill once again, there were $60 added for additional fees not including taxes. I asked the server is this the gratuity included? She said the servers only make 2% of that so if I could add additional gratuity, that would be appreciated. To pay $400 to bring my daughter out for her birthday when we didn’t even get waters, I would say definitely go elsewhere for hibachi! Clearly the management tells their serving staff to always enter in the highest price for whatever they can sneak in on top of all the extra fees! And the worst part of all of it is that the servers aren’t even paid well! Overall, I was definitely disappointed and was definitely not planning on spending that much! I very seldomly write a review, but feel this one is needed!

    We were sat and weren’t greeted by the waiter/waitress for 30 minutes. My husband were starving so we left. We informed the front desk so they were aware. First time we’ve experienced that so it won’t deter us from ever going again!

    Fun experience. The staff was doing everything to make it a special event. Family Birthday. It was an expensive dining experience so the entertainment of cooking & the personality of the cook was very important. We had 2 kids under 10, one 12 year old and a 14 year old that only eats the protein choice. Would have liked a better value for kids & older kids that helped with the overall value. With service fees it was $57,00/person. Overall great time & great food.

    Not the fun hibachi experience we expected. The chef didn't interact with the table much and didn't do the normal things that make hibachi a unique dining experience. If you want a quiet business dinner that is a little unique, go there. If you want a fun experience, Osaka or others are a better option.

    The chef was fantastic! The waitress was not worthy to be a server at your restaurant. I was displeased with there were only her and one other that sang the birthday songs for the two birthdays, a 8 year old and my wife at our table. No photos were offered but when I asked she just walked away. I personally had the most expensive meal but was denied Dessert ice cream or even tea after, without explanation, even through everyone else at the table were served ice cream and tea. Her service was not what we have experienced in the our many times at your restaurant or maybe it may be the lack of supervision or training your waitress staff.     Waitress was inattentive and looked angry. The chef was nice but there was not much of a show. The food was good but nothing spectacular. There were 6 of us and the bill was $454. We could have gotten better service and great food elsewhere for half the price. Won’t be returning.

    Well I first want to start out with I absolutely love ❤️ the atmosphere and food 🍲 and have been a loyal customer for years now. I was however kind of disappointed when I was just there to celebrate my 55 birthday 🥳 on April 15, 2023. I invited my parents to come and close family and friends to join and our reservations were for 6:45 pm, well we sat up at the bar and waited to be called for a table for over an hour, also we thought ok it is what it is we will just have drinks first. Well we sat at the bar for a good 1/2 hour 45 minutes? Before we even got to order our drinks, and it took a good 15-20 minutes to get my drinks so needless to say I had to go back up to the bar to see why my drink was still not served to me. He hadn’t even started to make it when I went up to check on it. So anyways finally got it after a good 35 minutes or so? So then our waitress came and took our orders we probably seen her 3 times total during dinner, she was overwhelmed and borderline crabby and short with all of us. And then for my birthday 🎂 song she came over and just did birthday song by herself and of course us lol. It was a really different experience for my parents first time and my group of people I brought to sit and have a great dinner experience together. I will continue to come and enjoy the food always good no complaints about that or the cook/server.

    So expensive now to sit in a dirty restaurant with peeling paint! Was dismissed by "management" when I asked about my son's birthday mug, and we were there ON his birthday.

    Benihana has lost its touch along with the 20 percent service charge for service that is not that great, waitress only there to take food and drink order and was never back except to bring bill, cooks shows are not energetic or complete anymore and food has been under cooked and served way to fast just has lost it appeal
